This place is in the perfect spot if you want to get away from the business of Waikiki! The location is very beautiful! The host, Lance, was very friendly and accommodating! He was also very informative of the area.

We had a great time during our stay. My kids had a blast being able to walk right into the ocean! They snorkeled a lot and we even saw a turtle right outside! The sunrises and moonrises are incredible. Also, if you get a chance to visit the gallery downstairs, I highly suggest it! The artwork is stunning (some of which are hung around the house)! Lance was so easy to work with and very kind. There is noise from the road, but it didn't bother us much!

The location is excellent. On the beach/water. We enjoyed the morning sunrises. Two of the days we saw sea turtles. It was very nice to have a kitchen with the basics to fix breakfast and prepare for our outings. It is too windy and choppy waters to scuba dive from the house--at least for us. Plus, we had children/grandchildren with us. We snorkeled at Turtle Bay--which was good for starters for the children--ages 8 and 5. Then we went to Sharks's Cove, Three Tables and Hanauma Bay. We enjoyed our stay at the house and would rent it again!

Beautiful location. House needs to be updated. Once you get over the shock and accept that it’s a total beach house you can enjoy yourself.

Such a lovely place to stay while we were here in Oahu. We have loved getting up to the sunrise, early swims and walks right on the beach, just steps away. We saw turtles almost every time we looked out to the ocean. Although we were busy visiting many sites on the island, we always looked forward to coming back and relaxing. We enjoyed the cool breeze and the beauty of the ocean while sitting on the the deck or in the living room. We considered staying here as one of the top highlights of the trip. We did not lack for anything We truly had the best time and feel very Grateful for the opportunity to stay.

Waking up to the Hawaii sunrise would never get old. Beautiful location right on the water that gave spectacular views any time of day. Thanks Lance for letting us stay in your beautiful home!

My extended family of 6 had a nice stay at Lance's place. We enjoyed our daily swim right in front of the house, snorkeling trips in north shore, visits to the Polynesian center, Kualoa ranch, valley of temples, all within a short drive. The apartment had everything we needed. We'd love to be back again!

Perfectly beautiful and clean home, very spacious! Lance was HIGHLY responsive to our messages though we didn’t need much or have any questions while we were here. Everything is laid out perfectly with either written instructions or was self explanatory. Kitchen was fully stocked, had all cookware and dining ware we needed for 6. Had beach towels which added even more to our swimming experience. Will absolutely recommend others to stay here.

No frills ocean view property. Unit was as described. We enjoyed ourselves. Kitchen could be better stocked but it was no issue for us given that we only stayed a few days.

We spent a wonderful week in Lance and Trish’s wonderful house. It was exactly as advertised, with stunning sunrises over the ocean, beach access from the back yard, working air conditioners in each bedroom, comfy beds, and a decently-stocked kitchen. Our hosts were friendly, accommodating, and very responsive. I would recommend this property to anyone looking for a reasonably priced house on Oahu.

Would stay here again in a heartbeat. A lovely oasis away from the busyness of Honolulu. Truly beautiful views , and so many beautiful beaches close by , including the one right out front. There’s a little beach that no one goes to about 5 houses down. Lance was a wonderful host , friendly and accessible , but completely let us be ! Hope to come back again soon

The property was clean and comfortable. The kitchen had all the basics we needed to cook some meals. The home is above an art gallery and shares the back yard/beach access with another small rental below. Parking is a bit tight, especially with a full size suv. It was a great location to explore all of the north shore. Lance was very friendly and easy to work with. Our family of 6 had a great time and enjoyed our stay.

Lovely for a family trip, with uninterrupted water view from the balcony and stair access to water/beach at low tide. Clean facilty, responsive host.

This was a great place to stay with the family. The ocean is out the back door. It makes a great start to the morning to walk the beach and play in the water some. You can snorkel here too. It’s a nice quiet place to get away from the city and relax.

Perfect location to explore the North Shore! We were conveniently located near Kualoa Ranch and the Polynesian Cultural Center! Enjoyed watching sunrises from the lanai, and being only steps away to the ocean! Lance was quick to respond and ever helpful during our stay. The house holds such quaint charm and the artwork inside that Lance has displayed is absolutely beautiful! We will definitely stay again!

We really enjoyed how peaceful our stay was. The view was amazing. It had everything we needed. It was close to all the places we wanted to go to. Lance and his son were great to work with. We had the best time.

Our group of adult travelers enjoyed the property in Hauula. Well stocked kitchen, plenty of space for our group of 4. Bedrooms were good, window A/C units were adequate in the bedrooms but were a bit loud. Overall a great place to stay out of the bustle of Honolulu, but still close enough for day trips into Honolulu. If given the opportunity, I'd rent the house again!

This is an upper level apartment, with 20 steps up to the entrance. There is a nice deck. There are 4 bedrooms, one of which is empty; they are not ensuite (2 bathrooms are separate). It worked well for us. The biggest drawback was noise from the road. Lance was very easy to work with.

I loved this property and location. The only t hi ing I would improve is the internet...it was a little spotty. If I didn't have to be on work zooms, it wouldn't have been a issue. But otherwise this was a great place to stay away from the bustiling city with beautiful beaches along the way from the airport.

Beautiful ocean front property, no complaints from us.

Lance was easily accessible via text. Property was exactly as described. The view is beautiful. Air conditioning in bed rooms was nice at end of day and helped drown out any road noise. The location was perfect for exploring North Shore and easy trip back to Honolulu for sites there also. The steps up to rental may be challenging for those who have physical limitations. Everything went smoothly. House is as described. We primarily went to other other beaches rather than swimming in front of the house or at the nearest beach. We also went north to a waterfall,nearby for a mountain hike, as well as Honolulu for a luau and whale watching. We had a nice week.

This property was perfect for us and Lance, Tish and James wonderful hosts. I wanted to come back to the islands where I grew up, relax listening and watching the ocean and share my “home” with our friends. I was able to do this. We had our excursions all over the island but always relished coming back to this property, sitting on the deck and enjoying the beauty - sights and sounds - of God’s creation. We will definitely return. I could not ask for more gracious, responsive hosts - they are more than that - more like family. Come and enjoy.

Our family of 4 adults used this lovely B&B as the jumping off spot for a 6 night stay in the area. The central location allowed us to return to Honolulu for activities, as well as to explore the North Shore, in addition to the many things to see and do right nearby, like the Polynesian Cultural Center. Road noise was off-set by air conditioners in every bed room. The beds were comfortable, the furnishings functional. Although we chose a rainy, windy week to visit, the ocean view just beyond the very comfortable living room kept us entertained when it was wet and watching the sun come up each morning from the deck was picture-worthy and memorable! Despite the less than sunny conditions we managed to sneak in a snorkel right down the steps from the house at every opportunity, seeing coral, fish and sea turtles just out our door! Amazing!

The check in process was really simple. We loved the location and the house. The rooms were spacious and the view from the living room and deck area is unbeatable. These is a small beach 5 houses down, it was perfect for our family. We would go back if we get the chance again.

The house was in great condition. I would definitely recommend this to anyone wanting an oceanside stay without being in the city.
