Situated in a quiet residential area of Mijas Pueblo with a short walk to shops and restaurants. Perfect and manageable property size for 2 and good space on the Patio in case of visitors. A little chilly when we were there but the aircon heaters were adequate and the bathroom area has underfloor heating. so evenings/nights were cosy. No immediate parking but free areas nearby which we found ok but may be more difficult in high season. All in all a great find

The casita in the quaint village of Mijas, one of the famed White Villages of Andulucia, is absolutely perfect in every way. For starters, the view is marvelous-- look out on the Mediterranean Sea from your mountainside terrace, hear the church bells and braying donkeys and enjoy the sunrise while taking a dip in the hot tub. The house is a 1 br/1ba home decorated in a charming boho Moroccan style that is so romantic without being fussy. The casita comes with fully equipped everything-- kitchen, amazingly huge bath, hot tub, countless cable channels, even spa robes. Hosts Adrianne and Gordon are so accommodating yet give you total privacy. They are charming hosts indeed. While Mijas is a small village, be aware that tourists do invade the town center at midday. You can still snag an outside table for your tapas and wine, however, as by midafternoon they're long gone. And the house is a ten minute walk from the center so you always have your solitude at the casita. This home is a true gem! Thank you for letting us stay at your home.

This casita is beautiful with stunning views amazing hosts and everything you need for a stay in Mijas Pueblo. The weather was pretty poor during our December stay and my husband was ill so we spent quite abit of time in the casita but was very warm and comfortable. The hosts were at the end of the phone when we had a medical emergency and ended up at A And E and the lovely Lynn next door literally held my hand what a blessing. It isnt directly in the heart of village but once you get to know your bearings it isnt far from the hub and there is a lovely authentic spanish bar and little grocers and baker's nearby. The hot tub was great too. The hosts organised transfers to Malaga for us at the end of our trip which was a great help though it is possible to travel here by public transport (train from airport then bus or taxi to village - though abit of a walk to the main bus stop with cases). Englisg tv too. We wouldnt hesitate to recommend this accommodation or to stay here again when we come to Mijas Pueblo

Our hosts Gordon & Adrienne were very helpful meeting us at the outskirts of Mijas Pueblo & taking us to the property & advising parking options & sorting out an initial internet access issue. This property is in an excellent position and is perfectly equipped for a couple. A lovely place which we would dearly love to return to in the near future.

Outstanding property, the interior is typically Spanish with every mod con available. Patio with outstanding views. Five minutes stroll to the center of Mijas Pueblo with restaurants and bars aplenty. Would recommend this property to anyone. Thanks to Gordon and Adrienne for all the information, before and during our stay at their casita.

Mijas is a great place and the Casita Carmela is the perfect place to stay. Has all the facilities plus hot tub. Kitchen well kitted out, bedroom has comfortable bed , shower room is great. Outside patio has the most amazing views. Parking is a bit of Russian roulette but you can always find space.

The Casita is the perfect stay for any couple who want a relaxing holiday yet still within 5 minutes walk to the centre of the pueblo. Everything you need is catered for and topped of by the hot tub which was a fantastic way to relax after a day exploring the pueblo and beyond. We will definitely be back .

This is an excellent well appointed property in a quiet residential area. The booking process is simple and a taxi from and back to Malaga airport worked well. This was our first visit to Mijas but won't be our last. Mijas is full of bars and restaurants with very friendly staff

A beautiful Spanish casita in a truly outstanding setting, with views to die for and a village which ooze’s charm., along with some of the best food we have eaten in a long time. What’s not to like? A very, very rare opportunity, you will not be disappointed.

Couldn’t recommend this property more. Perfectly clean, with everything we needed for a long weekend stay. The hot tub was fantastic for the cooler nights and no photo can do the view from the balcony justice. The underfloor heating in the bathroom and dressing room was amazing too. The location is perfect, close to free parking (less than a 5 minute walk away) and just a 10 minute walk into the town square and so peaceful. If only we hadn’t brought the Scottish weather with us on our trip! We’ll definitely be back x

Myself and my husband had a fabulous stay at Casita Carmela for our wedding anniversary. Just perfect for a romantic get away. The casita is beautiful and Mijas Pueblo is magical. Will definitely return. Gordon and Adrienne were the perfect hosts.

Han sido unos días estupendos en Casita Carmela. Situada en pleno centro de Mijas, con todo cerca y en una zona tranquila. Las vistas, la terraza y las comodidades de la casa, una maravilla. Hemos disfrutado mucho y estado muy a gusto. Todo han sido facilidades por parte de los propietarios y de Maite, que nos recibió y cuidó estupendamente desde el primer momento.

A wonderful property, well maintained and in an excellent location. Very well equipped and property owner is extremely professional in all correspondence. This was our second time visiting this casita and I hope it won’t be our last.

Great accommodation Great facilities ie hot bun etc great hosts everything you need for a perfect stay. Would definitely recommend

This unit was even more impressive than what you can glean from the VRBO site. Mijas is an incredible place with very friendly residents. Restaurants and watering holes show interesting variety, great food and even better prices. We golfed; we rented a motorcycle for a day and we walked the town. We also visited local Mercados and did some of our own cooking. The rental unit has everything you could want and has a great floor plan. Fantastic bed and shower. Large bathroom and great kitchen. Gordon and Adrienne have a long term resident neighbor which made us feel very secure whenever we left for the day. We came from Canada aiming to spend a large part of our Spanish holiday in this rental unit. We couldn't be happier!
