This penthouse is wonderful. Everything is very clean, the managers are excellent and very helpful. We love staying in Blue Bay Resort - very secure and safe. This is one of my favorite places to vacation.

This Penthouse was fabulous. The views were spectacular. What a great place to have a birthday celebration. Check in process and communications with the owner and host Lisette were superb. Claudia met us at the Penthouse with an overview of everything. We had a 60th birthday balloon and bottle of wine waiting on us. Very nice touch! We snorkeled everyday. We visited 7 different beaches which are all easy to get to. Boer restaurant on the Blue Bay Resort was 5 star experience. All you have to do is walk downstairs to restaurant from Penthouse. Our hot water heater sprung a leak. Lisette had a new one installed the next morning. Our stay was just absolutely amazing. Would highly recommend this property to anyone. The sunsets are breathtaking from this balcony. Would definitely come back. Thanks for allowing us to stay in your fabulous Penthouse.

Stayed in the Penthouse with wife and 3 kids (19, 22, 25). Everything about it was great. Plenty of space and all the amenities you could ask for (including access to our hometown sport station that allowed us to watch the Phillies and Eagles). Check in was smooth, Lisette gave us a superb overview and responded quickly to any questions we had during the week. Most days we had breakfast at the Penthouse before heading out for adventure filled days….climbed Christoffel, swam in blue cave room, cliff jumping in Playa Forti, golfing and lots of snorkeling. Sunsets on the balcony are spectacular!! Spent 9 days in Curacao and still didn’t do everything we wanted. Guess we’ll have to come back and finish up. When we do, it’ll be in the Penthouse for sure. Blue Bay beach was awesome, had some of the best snorkeling we found on the island. Don’t hesitate, book today.

My family rented penthouse for a week and we enjoyed every minute! We are very grateful to Lisette, she was a great host! Penthouse was immaculate, spacious and had everything we needed- couldn’t be happier! If anyone needs to rent a car- Remy is fantastic! He picked us up at the airport and dropped us off free of charge and had our car waiting by the penthouse. We also used almost all of the wonderful recommendations made by Remy and they were all helpful. The beach was absolutely fabulous, as well as restaurants. We look forward to coming back!

Our stay in Curaçao at the Penthouse was perfect! Lisette was great and met us upon checkin and gave us a quick overview. All the rooms and bathrooms were very clean and neat. The views were incredible and as stated in the listing you were directly on the beach. The walk down to the beach was very quick and easy with our 3 boys. We did rent a car from Remy, who picked us up from the airport and then brought us back. This was very convenient. He also provided a list of things we can do on the island. Driving around the island was easier than expected, as it can be a little intimidating driving around in an unfamiliar place. We used google maps to get around to the different beaches and restaurants. There is a beach bar and restaurant right on the beach in Blue Bay, where you can grab breakfast, lunch or dinner. We did also try Brass Boer for dinner and went with the Chefs Menu, which was fun and very good. Brass Boer is also located right below the condo. We enjoyed our stay at the Penthouse and Curaçao. We will definitely return when we take our next beach vacation. Thank you Berna, Lisette & Remy for a wonderful trip!

Three generations of my family stayed here for one week, and there was something for everyone. The beach access is fantastic, the dive shop was conveniently located, the house reef exceeded our expectations, and the restaurant was great for the nights that we didn't want to cook. The grocery store was a short five-minute drive away, and we went almost every day. The layout provided lots of space for group gatherings, but also privacy in the comfortable bedrooms. Our group included divers and snorkelers and we all had plenty of room for our equipment, wetsuits, cameras, etc. There was a recurring problem with the dishwasher but property manager Lisette was on top of it, and she was also very helpful the night we had an electrical blackout, checking in on us and making sure we had flashlights. If you're in a party of people who like to cook, be aware that there are no spices or other basics -- you'll need to buy or bring cooking oil, salt and pepper, sugar, etc.

We had a great stay at the Blue Bay Emerald penthouse! The views were spectacular and the accommodations were magnificent. The property is even better than the pictures. We are a family of four with two active teenage boys (15,16) and The Blue Bay Resort amenities were perfect. The beach was beautiful and the snorkeling was great! In fact most times the snorkeling was better than our day trips to the top rated snorkeling areas. The aspect we loved the most was that we could all enjoy snorkeling together because the proximity to the deep water allowed my boys to free dive and I could stay with them without having to swim out beyond my comfort zone. All levels of ability will love snorkeling here. We spent several days without ever leaving the resort. After long days of playing in the sun we loved coming back to the spacious beach home and watching the sun set over the cliffs. A great family vacation spot!

The property was more amazing in person and would love to come back! The view from the balcony is stunning and we spent every night enjoying the sunset. The beach at the condo is great and nice to be able to rinse off in the pool as well. The condo is centrally located on the island and close to town and a great supermarket with delicious fresh pastries we enjoyed every day. Lots of great beaches, snorkeling and things to do on the island. We have been to many Caribbean islands and this was my favorite place!!

Beautiful views and great beach access. The Bay is gorgeous and if you like to snorkel or scuba it is one of the best I have ever seen. Penthouse is spacious and bright. The beach is great for little ones with little/no waves but nice sand to play in. Beautiful sunsets and turquoise blue water. We had a great time and look forward to returning.

Start to finish it was a really nice time with family. Accommodations were just as advertised. Plenty of room be together and find relaxing alone time. Lisette was very welcoming, informative and genuine.

Absolutely beautiful penthouse overlooking the gorgeous Blue Bay beach! We loved being centrally located on the island and only 15 minutes from the airport. The apartment was very clean and spacious. We loved the huge balcony in the morning, watching the pelicans dive into the water. We felt safe the entire time in this community. The landscaping is gorgeous and the beach was immaculate. The best snorkeling we did all week was right here in Blue Bay. Lisette was very helpful with anything we needed. Remy took care of our transportation. They both made this trip carefree. I highly recommend this property.

We loved the Penthouse condo. It was neat and clean when we arrived. Had everything we needed. The view was outstanding. Great sunsets. Good location with beach, bar, restaurants, golf within walking distance.

This property is ABSOLUTELY SPECTACULAR. If you are looking for a family friendly property in Curacao, look no further. The property is a TRUE penthouse in the very safe Blue Bay resort. The property is located in a gated community with plenty of amenities including restaurants, private pool, beaches, cabanas, tennis, golf, water activities, etc. The property is LITERALLY beachfront and waterfront. The pictures are all absolutely accurate. Each bedroom has its own ensuite bathroom with a common space including living room, dining area and kitchen. The penthouse was well suited with everything you need including bedding, towels and all kitchen equipment. The check-in process was seamless. Berna reached out immediately after booking to share all details and Lisette reached out before our trip so that we were always in contact. Lisette was wonderful and always reachable. If you are looking to rent a car, which is highly recommended in Curacao, Remy is a great resource! He and his wife live in the resort community and kindly picked us up from the airport and dropped us off! Remy is also a great resource for signing up for activities while you're on the island. Overall, a perfect property.

We took our kids and grandson to Blue Bay #16 (The Penthouse) for a week and it was perfect. It is a beautiful, 2 floor condo with every amenity you could want or need. The bedrooms and bathrooms are clean and beautifully decorated. The roll out covering for the patio was wonderful for blocking the hot afternoon sun and the ceiling fans made it comfortable as we shared a few drinks and listened to the waves! The location is perfect. Pretty much in the middle of the island. It was easy to find places we wanted to see. Parking close by with security in the area was wonderful. The elevator was a big plus for grandpa and grandma! Lisette answered questions immediately when contacted and made check in/check out a breeze! Remy was our contact person for our car rental. He met us at the airport and transferred us in a van and then handed us the keys to our vehicle for the week, complete with a car seat for our grandson. Remy went above and beyond to make sure our car needs were met and a situation was easily solved regarding damage to the car we rented. We could not have asked for anything more. If you want a great place to rent that has an excellent place for snorkeling and swimming in clear water, this is right below the condo. The pool was nice also, but the ocean was wonderful. We saw freighters, cruise ships, sail boats and boats of all sizes from the beach and patio. Cooking meals was a breeze as there were so many utensils, pots and pans, nice dishes, silverware and spices for anything you wanted. The appliances and air conditioners were in perfect working order. Overall, this was a relaxing and beautiful week for our family and would recommend The Penthouse to anyone! The pictures showed the beauty and condition of the place perfectly. Don't pass this one up! Thank you again to the owner our host Lisette and Remy! We definitely felt welcome and pampered during our stay!

Just returned from an amazing week in Curaçao. What an incredible island. We were picked up from the airport by Remy, who he and is wife have a car rental business the serves primarily the Blue Bay area. The airport is only a 15 minute ride from the Penthouse. When we arrived, Remy had a very nice Ford Explorer waiting for us. We were originally booked for a mini van but were upgraded to the Explorer. Remy helped us with our bags up to the 3rd floor of the condo to our penthouse unit. There we were met by Lisette. She was very pleasant and gave us a brief tour of the property. Words cannot describe how beautiful the penthouse really is. The view from the balcony was spectacular. We thanked Lisette and got ready for the beach. Later that evening, there was a knock at the door. It was Lisette with 2 bottles of wine. So nice. We stayed for 7 nights and could have stayed for 7 months. Great food, great beaches, great people. On the morning of our checkout Lisette returned again to wish us goodbye. Remy, not only picked us up at the airport but also made arrangements to take us back to the airport when we were leaving. All part of his car rental service. Our family had such a good time. I look forward to returning to this amazing island and would also like to thank Lisette and Remy again for their incredible hospitality.

I have stayed in many properties & hotels throughout the Caribbean, Mexico etc...this was by far the best! Our family of 6 (5 adults, 1 preteen) had plenty of room to have personal space while still enjoying a vacation together. Everyone/ couple had their own bathroom, which was invaluable. The penthouse was very clean, well maintained, organized & stocked with everything we needed. Blue Bay as a whole was very safe, friendly & beautiful. When we weren't on the pristine beach, we could be found on the balcony enjoying the stunning view & playing games together. The restaurants in Blue Bay were all surprisingly delicious. *There is no need to do any research in advance as the owners have left a binder filled with info about the island, activity options etc. We wouldn't hesitate to return to this property!

This rental is the best. We were 4 highschool friends celebrating our 70th birthday. Opening the doors was the best birthday gift. The view was amazing. Very well appointed condo. Lisette is the best property manager. She addressed one issue we had immediately. Easy to communicate with. The blue bay area is all you need. We ate in every restaurant and loved them all. Golfing was great. Snorkeling was easy and we saw many colorful fish and coral. Grocery store nearby. The best bread!! Will return again for sure.

We spent a glorious week in this Blue Bay condo on the beach. The diving, snorkeling, and swimming were amazing. The kitchen was very well appointed with everything we needed—and more! We love to cook as a family and have stayed in a lot of rental properties over many years, and this is the only one that has had sharp knives in the kitchen. This may not sound like much, but it’s just one example of a quality detail that makes a huge difference in the kitchen. Thanks for a lovely vacation!

For starters, all our guests agreed the place was as incredibly clean. So BIG thanks to the cleaners! We were also VERY impressed with the property manager Lissette, so helpful in so many ways. Beyond them, we all loved the layout of the condo, the amazing view, the beach right outside the driveway, and the convenient location for going to the supermarket, restaurants, and various attractions around the island. Can't wait to return!

We are a group of six including three couples. My husband and I were celebrating our anniversary and we couldn't have picked a better place. First of all, THE VIEW!! Unbelievable, breathtaking, unforgettable. The beach is pristine with excellent snorkeling right outside your door. We visited many other beaches and our group all agreed this was our favorite! So glad we stayed here! However, don't miss driving north to playa Grandi to swim with the turtles!! The a/c works amazing and all the beds were comfortable. The showers were great and the kitchen fully stocked. Lisette was the onsite host and was the sweetest! She responded quickly to our questions and any special requests. She gave excellent recommendations and made us feel at home. There is a new restaurant that opened on the beach very close to the home that was incredible. I believe the chef has 2 Michelin stars, it is very expensive but right on the beach and unlike any other food on the island! I highly recommend renting a car to see other parts of the island and to go to get groceries and other restaurants. There is a gentleman, Remy that our hosts recommended that rents cars and lives onsite. Remy and his wife are very nice and even picked us up from the airport and had our cars waiting for us when we arrived at Blue Bay. He can even help book different excursions. He gave us so many great tips and responded do quickly. Trust me when I say, STAY HERE. You won't be sorry!!

This was one of my favorite family vacation spots. We will be coming back to stay here soon and often. The villa was just a pictured. The manager meet us at the door and walked us through the villa, giving instructions on how everything worked. The manager also helped us with everything we needed during our stay. Sunrises and sunsets were perfect views from the villa. Plenty of room for everyone!! The owner and manager were wonderful through the entire process!! Thank you for a wonderful vacation and experience.

Freezer not working properly

4 of us went on a girls trip, which we do every August. I have to say, this penthouse was beyond our expectations!! Lisette, the property manager on site was a dream. She met us in the parking lot when we arrived and gave us the tour. She was available if we needed anything, but she did such a nice job and the penthouse had everything, we didn’t need her. It was priced well for everything it offered. Having 4 bedrooms, each with their own bathroom was great. The beds were comfortable and so were the pillow and sheets. Every room was well stocked with everything you would need. The best part is everything, including the beach towels were high quality. The kitchen had everything. The pans were high quality, unlike some places we have stayed. The balcony was our favorite spot to sit. We drank our coffee out there in the morning and our beers in the evening. There is a nice shade you can put down with the push of a button to block out the sun, if it gets too hot. I never got tired of looking at the water. It is an easy walk to the beach. The beach is so nice. Plenty of chairs to chose from. Easy to order drinks and food from your phone. It isn’t Rocky like some on the island. All of the restaurants in Blue Bay are great places to eat. We ate dinner at each of them and were very happy with our food and the prices. The grocery store is down the road and similar to what you would find in the US. We rented a car and there were always plenty of parking spaces near the door. The island itself is amazing. We always felt safe. Never once did we have anyone try to sell us anything or beg for money. Everywhere we went, people were friendly. The island is very clean and so are the beaches. We were so impressed. I would give them 10 stars if I could. This was our first trip, but we are already talking about our next. I have already forwarded this place to many of our friends who saw our vacation pictures and want to go.

We came from the US with 6 people: my wife and I (both 60), two grown children and our son's girlfriend (all around 30), and my 87-year old mom. We wanted somewhere where everyone could have their own bedroom (check), there was a great view (check and then some), it was a good central location for exploring the island (check), and it was a good place to just hang out if we felt like staying at the resort for the day (check big time). We snorkeled every day, mostly right off the beach at Blue Bay. We ate in all of the restaurants at the resort (good but didn't knock our socks off) and at a bunch of places on the island. The recommendations in the very detailed guest book are all great. We were never disappointed when we followed the book's advice. The apartment has everything you need, and there are some really nice touches, like a retractable mechanical sunshade on the terrace that makes it comfortable the entire day. We didn't cook too much, but we had what we needed if we wanted to. Sitting on the terrace in the evening was outstanding, with the moonlight shining on the water. We didn't need much assistance during our stay, but Lisette was always available to answer any questions both before and during our stay. I would highly recommend this property for (a) trips with extended family, or (b) groups of couples or friends who want to stay together but also want their own space. When you are in your room, you really have tons of privacy. And for what you get, the price is more than reasonable. 5+ stars for sure.

Our family was looking for a vacation where we could relax, snorkel in crystal clear water, and enjoy some downtime....and the Penthouse delivered! The view from the penthouse is stunning and we started and ended everyday enjoying the seas, sounds, and sunsets. The resort has a beautifal beach below on a cove with crystal clear and amazing blue water. The snorkeling was perfect for the family with the cover for the young ones and the abiility to venture out to explore the rocks and coral. The support and suggestions from the owner were very helpful. We rented our car from Remy and he made everything easy and provided great advice on where to go and what to see. Lissette took great care of us and made sure from our arrival to departure, we had everything we needed and felt at home including tips on where to get groceries. The location offers many short trips to explore other coves, restaurants, caves, offroading, or even enjoying the Thursday happy hour downtown. Hope to make it back!

This is a very comfortable condo with great ammenities and more than enough space for a family of four. Convenient to the beach and snorkeling, just steps away. Several good restaurants nearby. But the view and sunsets may be the best feature. Communication with Lisette was prompt and responsive. I highly recommend this property.

We just spent a wonderful week in this property! The pictures of the view are what sold me on the property and it was absolutely breathtaking. The balcony was such a great place for all our family to hangout every night. Everyone also loved that they had their own bedrooms and bathrooms. The beach at Blue Bay was wonderful - we snorkeled there almost every day and all the staff were super sweet. I would absolutely recommend it to others! Thank you!!

Don’t know where to begin about this amazing property! We just finished the most incredible week in Curaçao staying at the Blue Bay Emerald. We are 6 family members ranging from 18-81 and wanted a relaxing yet fun trip. Berna and Lisette were so very helpful in the planning and prep and answered all of our questions with timely precision. The check in process with Lisette was easy and she continued to be helpful and responsive throughout our stay. The location on Blue Bay is unbelievable, I can’t imagine there could be a better spot on the island. It’s only 10-15 minutes from Willemstad by car (we rented one) but we spent most days just enjoying the beach, snorkeling, paddle boarding, beach bar, and restaurant right outside our door. The beach bar staff treated us like royalty all week and they hosted a few evenings of live music. The penthouse is so beautifully decorated, spotlessly clean, and incredibly well appointed…they’ve missed nothing for international travelers. Everything is there, so don’t overpack! Beach towels, bath towels, kitchen EVERYTHING, washer/dryer, linens, hand soap, cleaning items, spices, the list goes on. The en suites for each of the 4 bedrooms saved us from showering schedules for 6 adults (more convenience than we have at home)! The pool was also a welcome respite from a long day at the beach. But the view. That might be the very best part. As soon as we walked in the room, we were all taken by the stunning view (day and night). In summary, it was perfect and none of us could pick a single thing we would change. We will be back…thank you for a wonderful stay!
