Berna’s home was the perfect place for our family to stay. Response from owner came very quickly after initial booking. Property manager was friendly and met us on arrival and departure. She offered her phone number to help with any issues that arrived, but all went smoothly. We found home exactly as described and as pictures show. Was probably the cleanest VRBO property we have stayed in, and we travel frequently. We had lots of room to spread out and the four bedrooms seemed equal in size and amenities. We cooked dinner in a couple nights and found everything we needed in the kitchen. The best part of the home is the main balcony! Any time we were home we found ourselves sitting outside looking down at the beach and out to the ocean. My husband and son played golf and said the course and facilities were great. We ate at multiple places within resort (pizza, bar, breakfast restaurant) and all were very good. Blue Bay had live music on Wednesday and we enjoyed it from the balcony and at the beach bar. Fridays they have a DJ and happy hour and that was a blast! Location was perfect, close to town and short drive to north shore beaches. Definitely need to rent a car to see the island! Would highly recommend this property and would love to stay there again!

The Blue Bay penthouse is an amazing property. It is right at Blue Bay Beach which has a good beach and great snorkling and diving. My 13 year old daughter and I went diving there for the first time. The penthouse itself was beautiful. We had 8 of us staying - my wife and I, our 3 teenage kids and my inlaws. There was plenty of room for all of us. It was very clean and had everything we needed. We spent a ton of time on the beautiful balcony that overlooked the beach and ocean. Location is close to everything...airport, Williamstad and grocery shopping is all close. We used Remy's rental car service which was suggested to us from the property manager and that worked very well. Overall I would not hesitate to stay at the penthouse next time we visit Curacao.

To start , communicating with the owner Berna was seamless from day one. The penthouse condo was as pictured all rooms were in great condition , bathrooms also were clean and good size. The kitchen was fully stocked and ready for meal prep. The ocean was beautiful as was the on site pool. Lastly but not least Lisette the property manager was great to work with attentive , kind and ready to answer any questions or request we had.

My family just spent a fantastic week at this beachfront penthouse apartment. Our party of six adults and one child had plenty of room to spread out and relax in this Caribbean paradise. The apartment had everything we needed - full kitchen, comfortable beds and our favorite place to relax - the amazing balcony overlooking Blue Bay. The apartment was clean and having a washer and dryer was perfect to allow us to travel lightly. Blue Bay Resort is a wonderful place to stay. The water was clear, warm and you could snorkel along the rocks and see so many fish. We had drinks and food from the Blend Beach Bar and everything was delicious. One night there was a band on the beach and we could listen to the music from our balcony. The resort is in the perfect location in Curacao - not too far from Willemstad but also easy to get to the amazing west coast beaches. My seven year old granddaughter spent the week snorkeling, swam with turtles, saw wild pigs on the beach and fed iguanas. She said she was “living her best life” and we all agreed 100%. We will absolutely return to this wonderful vacation spot!

If you are looking to stay at Blue Bay and need room for 4, then this is your place. Very clean, easy access to beach and amenities, full kitchen to cook meals, and a great location to access the north or south beaches. We had an amazing time.

The position on the property was great. It was close to the beach, Willemstad, restaraunts, and the parks to the North. We like to walk in the morning and walking around the property was great and the outside artwork was appreciated. The restaraunts had good food and price was reasonable. The unit itself was clean and well appointed with the back porch facing southwest, so a beautiful sunset every night, although it does get hot, but the automatic shade and fans lower the temperature. It’s was perfect for us, but best for a larger group. The snorkling in the bay might have the best of anywhere we’ve gone (extensive in the Caribbean ). The elevator was great if we were tired versus climbing the stairs. Beds were very comfortable and spent and most of the time inside on the deck. The only problem we had was with the dishwasher. Probably didn’t work it correctly, but was really the only issue we had. They had everything we needed during our stay. We had a great time and would definitely come back. As I understand they have other units as well and would stay at any of them. Really recommend renting a car from BB Car Rental. The rental company is on site and Remy was great really helping out to fully enjoy. He picks you up at airport and drives you to condo. It was very easy. They only drag was they don’t take US credit cards, but make it easy to pay. They drive on the right side of road so easier for US drivers. Paying for gas is a little challenging but no problems.

The Condo is well kept and amazing views from terrace with all amenities needed . Great sunsets! Great host! We rented a car which we used three days out of our six night stay. We loved the blue bay restaurant next door for breakfast and dinner. Would come back! The beach is beautiful and tranquil. A place to relax, read a book have a few drinks and better yet spend it with family.

Second time staying at this property, and will be returning for sure. To say the view is incredible is an understatement. The property is very spacious and nicely decorated, and the kitchen is well stocked with all the necessities. The resort and beach are lovely, very short walk to the beach. Supermarket is right down the road for shopping.

This villa was absolutely perfect. From the moment we walked in and met Lisette, we felt like we were home. The villa was well appointed, spacious, well stocked with essentials and exactly as listed. Blue Bay is a perfect location - great beach, walk-out snorkeling, food and drink options…sublime! Definitely coming back!

We could not have had a better week. The property is exceptional and has the most beautiful views. It is so perfectly located and there is easy access to the beach and restaurants. There was plenty of space for our group of 6, the kitchen had everything we needed and we spent all of our time either on the balcony or exploring the beaches. The property manager, Lisette, was responsive, accommodating and provided information on everything we could need for our stay. We utilized Remy, right in Blue Bay, for our car rental and it could not have been easier. We had an absolutely fantastic vacation and cannot wait to return!

This is our second time we have stayed at the blue emerald penthouse at Blue Bay. This is definitely our happy place. It is beautiful, safe, convenient and has all the amenities you need. A definitely five star plus rating!

As a group of 7 adults it can be hard to find a large enough space in a prime area, however the penthouse at Blue Bay was perfection. Each room has its own full bathroom which was great. The place was spotless and check in/out was a breeze. Everything you can think of needing is supplied. The view was unbeatable and snorkeling right in the bay was awesome. We spent some time in the resort area but much of it exploring other locations on the island. This is very central to everything with no more than 45 mins to any attraction that we visited. Grocery store is about 5 mins away, airport 15, and downtown about 30. Our hosts were great communicators and responded to every question quickly. We will revisit this location without hesitation. Thank you to the hosts for everything.

This penthouse is wonderful. Everything is very clean, the managers are excellent and very helpful. We love staying in Blue Bay Resort - very secure and safe. This is one of my favorite places to vacation.

This Penthouse was fabulous. The views were spectacular. What a great place to have a birthday celebration. Check in process and communications with the owner and host Lisette were superb. Claudia met us at the Penthouse with an overview of everything. We had a 60th birthday balloon and bottle of wine waiting on us. Very nice touch! We snorkeled everyday. We visited 7 different beaches which are all easy to get to. Boer restaurant on the Blue Bay Resort was 5 star experience. All you have to do is walk downstairs to restaurant from Penthouse. Our hot water heater sprung a leak. Lisette had a new one installed the next morning. Our stay was just absolutely amazing. Would highly recommend this property to anyone. The sunsets are breathtaking from this balcony. Would definitely come back. Thanks for allowing us to stay in your fabulous Penthouse.

Stayed in the Penthouse with wife and 3 kids (19, 22, 25). Everything about it was great. Plenty of space and all the amenities you could ask for (including access to our hometown sport station that allowed us to watch the Phillies and Eagles). Check in was smooth, Lisette gave us a superb overview and responded quickly to any questions we had during the week. Most days we had breakfast at the Penthouse before heading out for adventure filled days….climbed Christoffel, swam in blue cave room, cliff jumping in Playa Forti, golfing and lots of snorkeling. Sunsets on the balcony are spectacular!! Spent 9 days in Curacao and still didn’t do everything we wanted. Guess we’ll have to come back and finish up. When we do, it’ll be in the Penthouse for sure. Blue Bay beach was awesome, had some of the best snorkeling we found on the island. Don’t hesitate, book today.

My family rented penthouse for a week and we enjoyed every minute! We are very grateful to Lisette, she was a great host! Penthouse was immaculate, spacious and had everything we needed- couldn’t be happier! If anyone needs to rent a car- Remy is fantastic! He picked us up at the airport and dropped us off free of charge and had our car waiting by the penthouse. We also used almost all of the wonderful recommendations made by Remy and they were all helpful. The beach was absolutely fabulous, as well as restaurants. We look forward to coming back!

Our stay in Curaçao at the Penthouse was perfect! Lisette was great and met us upon checkin and gave us a quick overview. All the rooms and bathrooms were very clean and neat. The views were incredible and as stated in the listing you were directly on the beach. The walk down to the beach was very quick and easy with our 3 boys. We did rent a car from Remy, who picked us up from the airport and then brought us back. This was very convenient. He also provided a list of things we can do on the island. Driving around the island was easier than expected, as it can be a little intimidating driving around in an unfamiliar place. We used google maps to get around to the different beaches and restaurants. There is a beach bar and restaurant right on the beach in Blue Bay, where you can grab breakfast, lunch or dinner. We did also try Brass Boer for dinner and went with the Chefs Menu, which was fun and very good. Brass Boer is also located right below the condo. We enjoyed our stay at the Penthouse and Curaçao. We will definitely return when we take our next beach vacation. Thank you Berna, Lisette & Remy for a wonderful trip!

Three generations of my family stayed here for one week, and there was something for everyone. The beach access is fantastic, the dive shop was conveniently located, the house reef exceeded our expectations, and the restaurant was great for the nights that we didn't want to cook. The grocery store was a short five-minute drive away, and we went almost every day. The layout provided lots of space for group gatherings, but also privacy in the comfortable bedrooms. Our group included divers and snorkelers and we all had plenty of room for our equipment, wetsuits, cameras, etc. There was a recurring problem with the dishwasher but property manager Lisette was on top of it, and she was also very helpful the night we had an electrical blackout, checking in on us and making sure we had flashlights. If you're in a party of people who like to cook, be aware that there are no spices or other basics -- you'll need to buy or bring cooking oil, salt and pepper, sugar, etc.

We had a great stay at the Blue Bay Emerald penthouse! The views were spectacular and the accommodations were magnificent. The property is even better than the pictures. We are a family of four with two active teenage boys (15,16) and The Blue Bay Resort amenities were perfect. The beach was beautiful and the snorkeling was great! In fact most times the snorkeling was better than our day trips to the top rated snorkeling areas. The aspect we loved the most was that we could all enjoy snorkeling together because the proximity to the deep water allowed my boys to free dive and I could stay with them without having to swim out beyond my comfort zone. All levels of ability will love snorkeling here. We spent several days without ever leaving the resort. After long days of playing in the sun we loved coming back to the spacious beach home and watching the sun set over the cliffs. A great family vacation spot!

The property was more amazing in person and would love to come back! The view from the balcony is stunning and we spent every night enjoying the sunset. The beach at the condo is great and nice to be able to rinse off in the pool as well. The condo is centrally located on the island and close to town and a great supermarket with delicious fresh pastries we enjoyed every day. Lots of great beaches, snorkeling and things to do on the island. We have been to many Caribbean islands and this was my favorite place!!

Beautiful views and great beach access. The Bay is gorgeous and if you like to snorkel or scuba it is one of the best I have ever seen. Penthouse is spacious and bright. The beach is great for little ones with little/no waves but nice sand to play in. Beautiful sunsets and turquoise blue water. We had a great time and look forward to returning.

Start to finish it was a really nice time with family. Accommodations were just as advertised. Plenty of room be together and find relaxing alone time. Lisette was very welcoming, informative and genuine.

Absolutely beautiful penthouse overlooking the gorgeous Blue Bay beach! We loved being centrally located on the island and only 15 minutes from the airport. The apartment was very clean and spacious. We loved the huge balcony in the morning, watching the pelicans dive into the water. We felt safe the entire time in this community. The landscaping is gorgeous and the beach was immaculate. The best snorkeling we did all week was right here in Blue Bay. Lisette was very helpful with anything we needed. Remy took care of our transportation. They both made this trip carefree. I highly recommend this property.

We loved the Penthouse condo. It was neat and clean when we arrived. Had everything we needed. The view was outstanding. Great sunsets. Good location with beach, bar, restaurants, golf within walking distance.

This property is ABSOLUTELY SPECTACULAR. If you are looking for a family friendly property in Curacao, look no further. The property is a TRUE penthouse in the very safe Blue Bay resort. The property is located in a gated community with plenty of amenities including restaurants, private pool, beaches, cabanas, tennis, golf, water activities, etc. The property is LITERALLY beachfront and waterfront. The pictures are all absolutely accurate. Each bedroom has its own ensuite bathroom with a common space including living room, dining area and kitchen. The penthouse was well suited with everything you need including bedding, towels and all kitchen equipment. The check-in process was seamless. Berna reached out immediately after booking to share all details and Lisette reached out before our trip so that we were always in contact. Lisette was wonderful and always reachable. If you are looking to rent a car, which is highly recommended in Curacao, Remy is a great resource! He and his wife live in the resort community and kindly picked us up from the airport and dropped us off! Remy is also a great resource for signing up for activities while you're on the island. Overall, a perfect property.

We took our kids and grandson to Blue Bay #16 (The Penthouse) for a week and it was perfect. It is a beautiful, 2 floor condo with every amenity you could want or need. The bedrooms and bathrooms are clean and beautifully decorated. The roll out covering for the patio was wonderful for blocking the hot afternoon sun and the ceiling fans made it comfortable as we shared a few drinks and listened to the waves! The location is perfect. Pretty much in the middle of the island. It was easy to find places we wanted to see. Parking close by with security in the area was wonderful. The elevator was a big plus for grandpa and grandma! Lisette answered questions immediately when contacted and made check in/check out a breeze! Remy was our contact person for our car rental. He met us at the airport and transferred us in a van and then handed us the keys to our vehicle for the week, complete with a car seat for our grandson. Remy went above and beyond to make sure our car needs were met and a situation was easily solved regarding damage to the car we rented. We could not have asked for anything more. If you want a great place to rent that has an excellent place for snorkeling and swimming in clear water, this is right below the condo. The pool was nice also, but the ocean was wonderful. We saw freighters, cruise ships, sail boats and boats of all sizes from the beach and patio. Cooking meals was a breeze as there were so many utensils, pots and pans, nice dishes, silverware and spices for anything you wanted. The appliances and air conditioners were in perfect working order. Overall, this was a relaxing and beautiful week for our family and would recommend The Penthouse to anyone! The pictures showed the beauty and condition of the place perfectly. Don't pass this one up! Thank you again to the owner our host Lisette and Remy! We definitely felt welcome and pampered during our stay!

Just returned from an amazing week in Curaçao. What an incredible island. We were picked up from the airport by Remy, who he and is wife have a car rental business the serves primarily the Blue Bay area. The airport is only a 15 minute ride from the Penthouse. When we arrived, Remy had a very nice Ford Explorer waiting for us. We were originally booked for a mini van but were upgraded to the Explorer. Remy helped us with our bags up to the 3rd floor of the condo to our penthouse unit. There we were met by Lisette. She was very pleasant and gave us a brief tour of the property. Words cannot describe how beautiful the penthouse really is. The view from the balcony was spectacular. We thanked Lisette and got ready for the beach. Later that evening, there was a knock at the door. It was Lisette with 2 bottles of wine. So nice. We stayed for 7 nights and could have stayed for 7 months. Great food, great beaches, great people. On the morning of our checkout Lisette returned again to wish us goodbye. Remy, not only picked us up at the airport but also made arrangements to take us back to the airport when we were leaving. All part of his car rental service. Our family had such a good time. I look forward to returning to this amazing island and would also like to thank Lisette and Remy again for their incredible hospitality.

I have stayed in many properties & hotels throughout the Caribbean, Mexico etc...this was by far the best! Our family of 6 (5 adults, 1 preteen) had plenty of room to have personal space while still enjoying a vacation together. Everyone/ couple had their own bathroom, which was invaluable. The penthouse was very clean, well maintained, organized & stocked with everything we needed. Blue Bay as a whole was very safe, friendly & beautiful. When we weren't on the pristine beach, we could be found on the balcony enjoying the stunning view & playing games together. The restaurants in Blue Bay were all surprisingly delicious. *There is no need to do any research in advance as the owners have left a binder filled with info about the island, activity options etc. We wouldn't hesitate to return to this property!

This rental is the best. We were 4 highschool friends celebrating our 70th birthday. Opening the doors was the best birthday gift. The view was amazing. Very well appointed condo. Lisette is the best property manager. She addressed one issue we had immediately. Easy to communicate with. The blue bay area is all you need. We ate in every restaurant and loved them all. Golfing was great. Snorkeling was easy and we saw many colorful fish and coral. Grocery store nearby. The best bread!! Will return again for sure.
