Cute older house that provided a great place to stay for our trip. Easy to get too and host was very responsive.

Great location. My only complaint was the bee nest in the ground just right of the front porch stairs. I was happy to see there was bee spray in the house which I used to spray in the nest but only after my wife and a friend was stung. With that said all else was fine we had a great weekend and was very comfortable staying at the Tuscany. Served us well.

Overall the experience was very good. Location to town was perfect.

Had an awesome time this weekend. But won’t be staying here next year, due to the price increase. 😢

The apartment we stayed in was clean, warm and inviting. It has a nice layout and is easy to navigate. The curving staircase is very cool and I can see kids really having fun. Once you navigate it the first time, it is easy to move up and down between the first and second floors. The front porch is ideal for sitting quietly and reading or playing board games. Lake Erie is visible from the porch which adds to the calming effect. The owners; Beth and Randy are easy to communicate with and are very nice. They keep the unit very clean and welcoming. The house is located very close to the GOTL strip and that makes it easy to access important places like Mary's Kitchen, Madsen Donuts and Eddies Grill. We had a wonderful time and recommend this place for a quiet and fun vacation.

Beth was great to communicate with and helped me feel comfortable being a first time VRBO user. The apartment was the perfect size. We loved hanging out on the porch enjoying the weather. Easy walking to enjoy the strip. Spiral staircase would be a bit difficult for an older couple but nice downstairs bedroom as an alternative. Shower is small so may be a challenge to bathe children but fine for adults. Overall a great stay at GOTL.

The house was very clean & nice a little small and the steps were crazy but overall good

The only thing I didn't care for was the spiral staircase.being 66 years old it was hard to maneuver.orher than that I would definitely stay again

It was very accommodating. We had everything we needed. Was very clean and provided enough space for the 6 of us. We really enjoyed the front porch and spent a lot of time there because the weather was so nice. We were able to walk everywhere we wanted to go.

We had a great experience from beginning to end. Beth was extremely accommodating and a pleasure to work with! The home was lovely. It was clean and had all the amenities we needed. It was close to the strip and lake and perfect for a weekend getaway! I would definitely stay again and most definitely recommend it to others!

The property enjoys a great location very close to the strip yet in a quiet neighborhood. The porch and yard are very nice and shaded and we enjoyed sitting out there playing Old Maids with the grandkids. If cleanliness is a "must have" this property is for you.

Great place to watch fireworks....right on the strip.

My bridesmaids and I stayed there for a weekend and it was amazing. It is a block back from the strip but you can still see the action without the loud noise. The house was beautiful and clean! The kitchen and the front porch was our favorite spot. We made a lot of great memories staying here. I highly recommend it!!

Loved the porch and kitchen set up. I could easily walk with my 3 young kids to anywhere on the strip. And there were board games, puzzles and DVDs in the house that made nights and rainy days fun too. Location was great for kids and had a great yard for games and just hanging out. The only challenge was having one sleeping room on the first floor and a narrow staircase to the top floor. A bit challenging to navigate if toddlers but for my older kids they liked having some privacy

To be honest, when we opened the door to the hallway, we were a bit concerned as it looked a bit shabby. However the actual apartment is really nice and comfortable. There were four of us coming for a sister trip. The living room is small and can comfortably fit two-three people. But while on vacation, who needs a living room? The porch and kitchen allowed us to gather to gossip and plan. The bedrooms are great, but the cove where the twin beds are can only fit the one twin bed. We put the second twin in the upstairs bedroom at the end of the bed so that we would have room upstairs. All the beds were comfortable and no complaints there. The ac did keep the apartment cool, including the upstairs. this apartment is located within eye distance of the strip. While others paid for parking, we just walked up town. We were right behind the Rib & Beer festival, so it was great to grab dinner and a drink to sit on the porch to listen to music. A couple of things that could have been better. We were only provided with one garbage bag and had to go to get additional bags. It would be nice to have a couple more bags included in the stay. Also note that linens are not included, you must bring your own sheets, pillow cases, towels, washcloths and dish rags. This is quite a bit of packing when going on vacation. Also the walls are a bit thin, so when the neighbors woke up, we woke up. Other than that, it was a great place to stay.

We stayed at Tuscany and had a wonderful time. The house and property are just beautiful. The beds are very comfortable. Rooms are nice sized. The kitchen is the bomb. If you like to eat healthy and prepare your own food this is the place to be. The location is perfect. The yard is huge and literally manicured. The owner Beth is so kind and responsive. The only negative thing I have to say is that it is already booked for next year. Here's hoping they'll cancel.

We enjoyed our stay here. Close to everything on the strip yet peaceful and out of the hustle and bustle. The apartment is beautiful and has plenty of space and is very clean. Our family had a wonderful vacation here and will definitely be back again!

Nice, quaint place to stay. It was quiet, but yet close to strip. Place was clean and as advertised. There was a little delay checking in (because previous guests were late leaving). However, Beth was very accommodating with us and made sure this was not an issue. We are already making plans to stay here next year.

Our stay was very enjoyable and the sights, covered bridges, along with th extremely beautiful Geneva State Park beach was worth the trip. Thanks to Beth Trice for an enjoyable home away from home. SJI

Although Tuscany was in a great location, the unit was extremely cramped, hot and bug infested. Some of the electrical outlets were in dangerous places and not up to code. One person could barely fit in the only shower in the unit. The living room was unusable due to the fact that you could not fit 4 adults and there was only seating for two. The spiral staircase was so tight that it was difficult for an adult to go up and down, let alone carry any luggage. The only place in the unit that we could all congregate was the kitchen, and it was still very cramped with tiny chairs and uncomfortable wooden stools. The 2 window air conditioning units ran constantly and could not keep the unit below 82 degrees. As we arrived in Geneva at 4:00, the check in time, the place was locked and we still did not receive the access code from the owner. After repeatedly trying to contact the owner for 5 hours, she finally gave us the code. Due to this, we did not have access to the unit until 9:30 at night, and we were scrambling to make other arrangements. Finally, there were several bugs in the unit. Although the owner set up several bug traps, my wife awoke to bug bites all over her torso, that have left marks that are still present today. I contacted the owner about these concerns and she dismissed them and did not offer a solution or partial refund. I was extremely disappointed with this experience and will never stay anywhere near this house again. If you like hot, cramped and bug infested quarters decorated in a French theme yet called Tuscany (Italy) and deal with an owner that will do nothing to help you, then this unit is perfect for you.

The property is beautiful with views of the strip and lake. Excellent location just steps away from all the fun. Huge yard the kids loved. We spent a great deal of time on the porch just relaxing and watching the fun. You can tell the owners absolutely care for the home. We would definitely stay again.

After booking I had several questions. Beth was very quick to reply & I really appreciated that. This property is very nice, clean & well decorated. The house is divided into 2 apartments. We rented 'The Tuscany' which is 2 stories in the front of the house. To access both apartments you enter the front door in the picture. Inside the front door 'Tuscany' is to the left. I found a video of the inside on www.beachglassrentals.com I HIGHLY recommend watching the video to see what 'The Tuscany' is like. It's very close to the center of 'the strip'. The house sits on a very large lot & there's space for parking right next to the house. The front porch is nice for sitting on & watching crowds walk by. The porch swing seats 2. The porch table seats 4. The living room is small (seats 3). The kitchen is a good size with all of the necessary appliances. Everything works fine & we made a few meals there. There's seating for 5 My Mom used the downstairs bedroom (with a queen bed) next to the kitchen. The walk in shower & bathroom were also nice for her. The window needs a curtain. We used an extra sheet that we had to cover it. The spiral staircase in the living room was really tight. Thankfully my niece was able to get my suitcase upstairs for me. There's a half bath & queen bedroom upstairs. There's a window air conditioner in the living room & I wish it was just a little more powerful. There's a second window air conditioner in the upstairs bedroom & a floor fan. Both did a great job of keeping the upstairs cool. When we first arrived, my niece accidentally opened a "emergency exit only" door by mistake. Then we couldn't get it to close. Beth came very quickly to our rescue & fixed the door which we really appreciated. For dining we ate at Eddie's Grill. The burgers & fries were OK, but we thought they were overpriced & small. We were also unimpressed with Madison's doughnuts. We found a small 'mom & pop' diner in town called Honey Bees. We liked most of the menu items, but skip the meatloaf. We drove to Ashtabula to Crows Nest. It's also a 'mom & pop' shop but very good! The coconut shrimp is AMAZING! The meals include warm bread & salad. On our way home we stopped at Marianne's Chocolates. It has the best chocolate! It's pricey, but worth every penny. They give free samples of fudge ($15 a pound). We can also recommend the 'dark chocolate salted caramel'! Also the truffles ($2.60 each). They melt in your mouth.
