Little bear lodge is a great spot for families to come together and hang out! The size of it accommodated my family, my sister's, and my parents along with my three other siblings. The ppool was awesome, perfect for the kids to get their energy out!

There are 5 bathrooms and you can only shower in two. The floors were dirty. Poorly equipped kitchen. Not enough towels for all the guest. One of the bathrooms carpet was coming undone and many of us got stabbed by nails while walking through. Hole in doors. Water was disgusting. Water kept coming out of random places from the floor in the main bathroom. Worst cabin I’ve stayed in ruidoso after 20 years of renting cabins…

We LOVED this house. It is so spacious and has so much character. The location was away from neighbors and close to town. Everything was exactly as they advertised. The pool was a hit for the kids and the gated yard for the dogs was a bonus perk! We will be back for sure!

The renting process was very quick and easy, the cabin was very good, only a few, non-considered big issues, due to the life of the cabin. Very clean and comfortable!!!!

My entire family (ages from 3 years old to 93 years old) enjoyed themselves. Cabin is a bit older with some minor issues but overall enjoyable.

Deer actually came to the window and watched us swim! Great kid property with few breakables in reach! Decor is old and paint around pool needs to be updated.

Beautiful house in need of some TLC. Some of the tile in the kitchen are broken and the carpet in the entryway from the pool and the master bathroom carpet are damp. The chemicals in the pool are a little strong. The tri level provided beautiful and peaceful views of nature.

We had 6 adults, 7 children, and 1 infant. Everyone had a blast! Plenty of space, everything we needed, deer were everywhere, the hot tub was perfect, pool was incredible.... we loved it!

Great Pool and Hot Tub Set Up for Family get togethers. Property could use some updates but over all it is a great place to gather and have fun. The addition of more items to the kitchen such as knives forks etc. would be helpful.

Had a great time! Lots of room for our big family. The pool and hot tub were awesome, so much fun. Beds were comfy, kitchen was nice and big and open. Overall a great stay, we will most likely book again!

We used the location as a small wedding venue with just our immediate family. It was amazing and we look forward to booking again.

Had a wonderful time with our friends and family! The pool and hot tub were amazing and kept everyone entertained. The only bad experience we had was the power going out for one whole night and did not come back on till 5 in the morning. We also got to see lots of wild life both elk and deer on the property which was really cool. Our over all experience was really great we enjoyed it also enjoyed fishing at Alto lake.

We rented this cabin knowing that it had no air conditioning but we expected it to be cooler in the mountains so we thought it would be okay. However, there were only ceiling fans, there was NO information to explain about closing the pool louvers so all the heat from the pool was coming into the main house, AND it was during a heat wave so the house was very hot and uncomfortable the first day. The guests opened all the windows during the night, and one of them figured out how to close the pool louvers, so the second day of our stay was slightly more comfortable. Everyone, especially the kids/teenagers really loved the pool and that is primarily why we got it. They also liked the pool table. The house does need some maintenance and it needs an upgrade.. The pool cue tips needed to be fixed, the kitchen tiles were breaking and the carpets had stains on them. The TV was older and didn't have enough HDMI ports for the technology the family brought. The kitchen was also NOT stocked "with everything to make a gourmet feast" as the online description said. It had enough supplies to get by for breakfast and sandwiches for lunch. We would be hesitant about renting again unless they repaired things, upgraded it and stocked the kitchen better. AND we would certainly make sure of the temperature in Alto before we went so that we would be more comfortable.

The whole family enjoyed our time stay. The process of check in and check out was easy. Very good experience

We enjoyed our stay and plan on it again. The pool was a big hit for the younger ones and nice hot tub for adults. Loved the patio for morning coffee and lots of room to hang out with the family.

The house was perfect for our large group!

We had 8 adults and 9 small children - this property was perfect for us! Each of the 4 larger bedrooms had its own bathroom and spacious walk-in closet. The house was clean and well-kept. The pool was wonderfully warm, lots of pool towels provided, and we appreciated the lock on the pool door. We enjoyed the layout of the large kitchen and main living room - it was easy to spend time all together without feeling crowded. We'd definitely stay here again!

We had a good time. We stayed in the pool almost the entire time! It was perfect. A few issues here and there. But we still enjoyed our time. We would book again!

This was a great property for our family. Kids loved the pool and it was easy to limit their access when not in use. It was a little warm in the house due to no air conditioner but it was unseasonably hot during our stay. We look forward to staying there in the future!

Place was great getaway. Lots of room and great for kids.

Only big concern was lack of a way to keep baby and toddler from falling down stairs in main area of house, but fixed that by buying a baby gate. Kids loved the pool and it was perfect for a huge family (with family) get together!
