Me gustó mucho el hotel en general, el desayuno estaba muy bueno (con platos bonitos) y el personal (Nelson en particular).

The staff person working in the morning was very personable and friendly. The breakfast was actually of great quality, and you get to take it in the cozy courtyard in the back. The hotel has retained many of the charms of the old colonial-style house. The bedroom has AC, which is much needed during the day.

Wifi did not work for us during the 2 out of 3 days that we stayed here. The bathroom simply has a grate for ventilation, and during the midday sun, it smells a lot. The hotel's street is currently under major construction, so everything is dug up. The bell from the nearby church rings every hour, even at night, so make sure to bring earplugs.

House location couldn't be better, very central yet tucked a bit away from the buzz of the main river front road. It was also a period gem so charming and nicely decorated, a cozy little B&B with all of the local vibe. Staff was very helpful and personal, particularly Nelson during the day shift.

Unfortunately we came to Mompox at a time of major water and sewage work on many of the streets around the hotel. It was disappointing as we could not stroll and comfortably exploring the otherwise beautiful surroundings. But of course this was not the fault of the hotel.

The location was good.

I was first given a room that was not in a good state, very small and dark and poky, and also with a strange smell. Given the price it was poor value. I complained and was given the room next door. This was better but not by much. The receptionist really did not like that I had complained. I wouldn’t recommend Casa Isabelita and would not stay there again myself.

It's a peaceful, comfortable, clean and friendly small lodging. The staff are capable and helpful, and it's hand for the ferry to the opposite bank of the Magdalena, and within walking distance all the (gentle) attractions of the town.

Was clean.
