We loved our stay here. Accommodation was perfect, comfy, immaculately clean, plenty of space indoor and out. Could not fault it. Breakfast provided was very considerate of my dietary requirements, which I was not expecting but very much appreciated. Dogs are welcome and yard is very safe and secure, with good sized grass area. Owners are on site but we didn't even know they were there.

We were attending a 3 day National OzTag competition & AMBERS was the perfect peaceful retreat after long exhausting days. We LOVED the very generous & tasty local produce provided for our breakfasts & it warmed our hearts that our gorgeous dog was also catered for! We recently had the pleasure of staying at Ambers , Mardi and Wayne's fantastic beach house, and it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. Their commitment to providing a top-notch experience left me feeling truly pampered. their home was spotlessly clean. I'm talking pristine! Their attention to detail was outstanding. From the perfectly folded towels in the bathroom to the thoughtful gifts for my dog and local recommendations, they ensured that every aspect of my stay was well taken care of. One of the highlights of my stay was the delicious breakfast they provided. Mardi and Wayne served up a homemade fresh bread, fresh berries and yogurt,. It was a delightful way to start the day. What truly set Mardi and Wayne apart was their genuine care for their guests. They made sure that everything was taken care of during my stay, and they were always available to answer questions or offer assistance. Their hospitality was exceptional, and I felt like I was staying with dear friends. My stay with Mardi and Wayne was a memorable and delightful experience. If you're looking for a spotlessly clean, detail-oriented, and welcoming house with a comfortable bed and delicious breakfast, you won't find better hosts than Mardi and Wayne. They exceeded all my expectations, and I can't wait to return for another visit. Thank you both for making my stay so special!

Excellent sized accommodation in the lovely Sawtelll. Sawtell is a real 'Village" feel type of place - a gem Hosts were amazing and our labradoodle was also impressed .... Restaurant/cafe recommendations also spot on for us We will return First class spot

This is a fabulous place and my only disappointment was we were only there 1 night. Very friendly, clean, great food and close to Sawtell village. Cannot wait to come back. Highly recommended.

A gorgeous property. Beautifully styled and appointed. Our favourite feature was the lovely living room with a fabulous wood burning open fireplace. Would definitely recommend and Sawtell is a stunning destination

The hosts were very welcoming, and very caring towards our dog which was lovely. The house was warm and inviting with an amazing bathroom - I was a little taken aback that there was no TV in the lounge - it was in the bedroom - it would have been lovely to snuggle up by the open fire watching a movie etc.. but instead we had to sit on our bed to watch anything. Not a major problem - but personally I'm not a fan of TVs in bedrooms. Also, the outside kitchen was a bit of a surprise - fortunately it didn't rain while we were there. Overall, a very comfortable stay with some tasty goodies in the fridge for us.

Sawtell - half-way between Sydney and Noosa for those making the drive - is an unsung gem. A beautiful little town with great sense of community and civic pride in a gorgeous setting - surf beach, river, surrounding mountains. The accommodation was impeccable. Immaculately clean, well laid out, very tastefully decorated, every possible amenity provided with enormous attention to detail. Hosts extremely accommodating. I can't recommend this stay more highly. An absolute pleasure!

We loved our stay at Ambers. Wayne welcomed us in and showed us around. He went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable, so many lovely touches around the place including a log fire ready to go. Ambers is within walking distance to everything, about a 20 minute easy walk to fabulous restaurants in the gorgeous local town.

We had a fantastic stay and have already recommend the property to some friends. We will definitely be back.

Our stay in Sawtell this time was not one for leisure activities but rather a necessity. By staying at Wayne and Mardis place we were so lucky to be able to still feel refreshed and rested after a tough time. Thanks for making our stay and making our dogs so comfortable. We will be back.

Loved the home, so clean and beautifully decorated. Our host Wayne was just lovely and everything taken care of. Wonderful pet friendly accommodation! My only suggestion would be if a dishwasher could be worked into the outdoor kitchen arrangement.

We booked Ambers in Sawtell as we were looking a pet friendly house to stop at for the evening on our drive from The Sunshine Coast to Canberra. This property far exceeded my expectations!! The house was immaculate and beautifully styled and Wayne our host was there to greet us and show us around. Wayne had stocked the house with thoughtful snacks and even supplied homemade biscuits for our dog! I would recommend this property highly! Thanks Wayne and Mardi.

The host meet us at the property, was very welcoming. The accommodation was very clean and comfortable, we felt immediately relaxed.

We have stayed many, many times with Wayne and Mardi. They are wonderful people and our stay is always superb on every level.

Beautifully designed and appointed accommodation. Everything has been thought of. But if a walk into town so a car is useful however the walk did is good.

From the treats on arrival, for our four legged family members, to the fresh baked deserts on our last day - the care and attention to detail from the owners of this property is second to none. Local knowledge in abundance even where to stop for coffee and breakfast on our journey home - this is a hidden treasure. Would recommend to anyone and will definitely return. Nicola

Honestly, I cannot fault the accommodation or cleanliness. Wayne is beyond warm and helpful. The location is a short distance out of town, but that worked well for us. Plus the fact that they made our dog so welcome was amazing!

I've always wanted to fly first class, Ambers gave me a little taste of that. Every little need catered for, from beautiful comfortable furnishings, divine beds, gorgeous breakfast hampers to luxurious bath. And fantastic hospitality in truly the most dog friendly accommodation in the state. Definitely recommend.

My family and pup enjoyed our stay. Wayne was very hospitable. We enjoyed the delicious snacks provided, the beds were comfortable, clean.

It was lovely to come back here with our greyhound after a couple years of no travelling. The accommodation is as gorgeous as we remember and Wayne and Mardi are great hosts!

I stayed at Amber’s Place for two nights on my way further north. I could have stayed for much longer, as I immediately felt relaxed and at home. Wayne greeted me on arrival and showed me around the property. He was very friendly and welcoming but was in no way intrusive. I texted him about a very minor problem the next day, and he immediately tended to the issue. The property is spacious and beautifully maintained, with an extremely comfortable bed, and good quality linen. Extra touches like muesli, berries, local fruit loaf, butter, yoghurt and milk in the fridge really set this property above any other I have stayed at….not to mention the lovely ground coffee and choice of loose-leaf tea. The garden is lush and pretty and my two dogs loved playing on the grass. I would thoroughly recommend this property, I cannot fault it in any way.
