The area was very close to the beach the house was decent We had issues with brown water running out the shower head . The shower curtain was broken We saw roaches and spider webs on the ceiling . The bathrooms wasn’t as clean as it should’ve been. There was no mops and they wanted us to strip the beds that was slept in and start a load of clothes for them . Why we had to pay a cleaning fee if we have to do all the cleanup for them. The owners was great but who’ve r they hired to clean need to do a better job.

The Sandcastle home was just as listed. It is beautiful, spacious, clean & short walk to the beach. We had a great time at Surfside!

They are accusing me of stealing a part from the refrigerator, and it was gone when I got there . The place was not that clean when I got there too. The showers where not working they were like clogged , and the bedrooms they were dirty, and the beds were full with sand they were dirty, so was the fridge dirty not clean at all.

We all loved the location, easy walk to the beach - well equipped, clean, and perfect for multiple family group. Everyone liked having a separate bedroom and adjoining bathroom for each family - so much easier than dragging all your stuff in and out each time you used bathrooms shared by multiple people. We had some functioning errors, but the host replied quickly to make it right - great week!!!

Booked this property to celebrate my 40th birthday celebration with friends. Great location and great property!

It was an amazing stay. The house is beautiful, comfortable and the beach is 4 min away. I love the coffee setting and everything was perfect like the listing!!!!

This house was even more gorgeous than the pictures. It had enough room to fit our group of 16 very comfortably with extra beds to spare. The kitchen was stocked better than any house I’ve ever rented and I’ve rented nearly two dozen over the years. Very short walk to the beach and close to nearby restaurants and shops. Even better there is a Bucees within five minutes from there. I would definitely like to stay here again in the future.

This was a family gathering and most of us are in our 50’s and 60’s. The house is very comfortable; there are 4 bedrooms and each has its own bathroom. In each bedroom is a queen sized bed and 3 bunk beds. Each bedroom has a tv. The kitchen is stocked with pots, pans, cutlery, utensils and even a coffee pot. The refrigerator and separate freezer are very big with ample room for your food and beverages. The large dining table was perfect for our family meals and games. There are board games in one of the bedroom closets. Underneath the house are a couple of storage chests with toys for the kids. And also underneath are showers and a foot shower to rinse off to help minimize tracking sand in the house. There’s a BBQ pit / grill, so bring your charcoal and enjoy cooking over hot coals. There are a couple of accesses to the beach. Even with some rain during the evening, we enjoyed our stay in this house and on Surfside Beach!

This property was super clean and spacious. There were four families everyone had their own space and bathroom that was nice! 100% recommend it’s very close to the beach walking distance. The property manager was easy to get a hold of and very helpful and nice. We will be staying here in the future.

Family of 14 ages from 1year to grandma and grandpa. House was perfect for our large family. Loved having separate rooms with their own bathrooms and plenty of options for the kids to sleep. Kitchen easily supported cooking large meals, refrigerator was massive for keeping everything we needed for a 4 day stay. Close walk to the beach or a very short drive to bring all the equipment needed to enjoy a full day in the sun. Only recommendations for improvement. The audio system in the living room was tricky to work with, couldn't get the sound bar working. The living room couch was comfortable but required a lot of adjustment as the cushions came off easily with mobile kids.

This property was great for large family and groups. It was very close walk to the beach; about 5 minutes. Bedrooms and bunks + private bathrooms were wonderful for our family. The kitchen was large and the dining table could seat our large group together. Washer and dryer were very helpful. The owners were very responsive when I contacted them about a clogged shower and someone came out within the hour to fix. I understand that they provided us with a starter number of trash bags-- but there was only 1. The kitchen had no clothes or sponges to wash dishes, which having a few would be helpful. The kitchen had a ton of cookie sheets, but no baking dishes. The couch is awful and needs a serious replacement. The kids would sit on it and the cushions would slide off or the couch would separate. It needs to be trashed. I would also bring gallons of water-- as the tap water had a yellow tint. Without a doubt, we would stay at this property again.

The set-up of this property is fabulous for multiple families. Each family has their own room with the ability to sleep 5 plus a bathroom. There are two rooms upstairs and two rooms downstairs. We had a 5-month old and 3-yr old with us during this trip - each in an upstairs bedroom. The upstairs bedrooms were quiet enough for the little ones to sleep while the parents stayed up late laughing and playing games. Great communication with the property manager and super easy walk to the beach. A few tips if you rent this property: - be sure to remember your toiletries - the bunk beds are not made with sheets before you get there (only made with the comforters); sets of sheets are provided in the bedrooms but we didn't realize the bunks themselves weren't made until we were crawling into bed late (which caused some issues while trying not to wake up little ones in the same room) - bring extra pillowcases as we couldn't find pillowcases for the bunks

It is a very nice house. Huge living room and lots of kitchen cooking items. Its close to the beach. Nice home.

Close to water! House was beautiful and had all we needed. Each bedroom had its own bathroom. And downstairs outdoor showers were an added bonus! Whole family agreed we will stay here again.

Shower outside to wash off.Cons:The kitchen pantry is locked by owner, so we had to store enough food for 14 people, for 4 days, on the countertops, messy. The couch was comfortable but old and always seemed to be coming apart where it was supposed to stay connected. If you like a super firm bed, then these are for you. Oddly, we were asked to pull the bedspreads down and not use them to sleep, but they provided no additional blankets to be used in its place. I suggest bringing your own towels. They were sparse.

House was clean. Had everything you need in the kitchen along with big refrigerator and freezer. More than enough room inside and outside. Close walk to beach along with view and sound of the beach. I didn't want to leave. Just have some mosquito repellent for the walk to the beach and under house at night. Will book again. Host was great also.

Convenient access to Gulf of Mexico beach . . . about one block walk along a trail. Recommend guests bring bottled water. Tap water had a salty taste.

Great House! The owner Deanna was super responsive. We had plenty of room for our group of 13. The beach was very convenient. We will definitely stay here again.

We loved all of the beds and that each room had it’s own bathroom. The dining table fit everyone and the fridge was very spacious. Could do with some minor cleaning tweaks inside and a lot outside, especially under the house. A bit of a hike to the beach. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and the home, though.

Each family had their own room and bathroom, walk to beach was very short, could see the water while eating breakfast, owner very quick to respond to questions

It was Great!!

We had ample space for our family of 12. Very nice to have a bedroom for each family with a private bath. Host was easily accessible and answered us immediately. There were a few minor maintenance issues that were not a problem for us , so I just notified the Host when we left. And I’m sure will be resolved before the next guest arrives. The House was hot when we first arrived but cooled down by early evening. The kitchen is very well equipped however, there are no steak knives. So if you are planning on grilling steaks I would suggest you bring steak knives. Also bring liquid dish detergent if there is anything you want to wash by hand. Only one kitchen towel and 2 kitchen wash cloths. would be nice to have 2 or 3 of each. We all enjoyed the stay and ALL really loved the beach. It has good access and it is only a short walk from the house. Mosquitos are bad under the house where the outdoor shower and grill is located. Deck space and chairs were really nice to sit and enjoy the sunrise and after sunset it was shaded. The breeze made it very enjoyable during early morning a evening. I Would highly recommend this house for a large group.

I was surprised that the property is just as good as it is described online! The property was kept clean and organized. If anything needed to be addressed, it was easy to contact the host and the host was very nice and accommodating. It was a short walk to the beach. It was a nice staycation and I would definitely go back again!

Had a very relaxing and enjoyable weekend. Perfect accommodations, plenty of room in living and kitchen area. Four bathrooms was especially nice for a group of women. Owners were very pleasant to work with, highly recommend!!
