Great place to stay if heading to Selwyn snowfields. Property has all the amenities one would need for a comfortable stay (wash and dryer), wifi, loads of kitchen appliances, towels. What makes this place a 5/5 is the thoughtfulness in providing plenty of paper hand towels, tea towels, bath towels, toilet paper and fire starter and matches for fireplace. Other properties only provide the bare minimum. Beds are so comfortable, check in was a breeze. Minor suggestion to add more pans in various sizes eg small ones for cooking eggs, grill racks and baking pans.

The fireplace was lovely and kept whole house warm. The aircon and electric blankets were good in the winter too. Great utensils in the kitchen. Easy street parking but can easily fit 3 cars in the driveway. Check in was late by around 2 hours but good selection of DVD’s. Unfortunately there was only good reception for Telstra and not other telecommunication providers.

Overall accommodation was in a great central location and that meant that we could easily experience snow as well as only being 30mins from the town of Tumut.
There was a few things that were disappointing
Wi-Fi was one as it didn’t really work, the internet would cut out at 7am and then that made sending or receiving message difficult to non-existent. This impacted work emails and calls that were delayed.
Also as the internet was extremely slow when we did get internet we couldn’t connect to the tvs even know they were stated to be smart tvs.
Apart from those issues this was a great, clean and welcoming home.

Looking for a place close to Selwyn Snow Resort we found this little gem. It has everything we needed and loved sitting by the fire each night. Talbingo is a cute little town with not much there but enough to explore for a few days.

Great property, super clean, super well equipped especially in the kitchen. Close to the caves, great location. Someone should check operation of DVD players, nintendo and batteries in remote controllers.

Lyn's property is very well maintained, lovely, clean and spacious. Has everything you need and plenty of extra touches to make it homely.
Kids loved the Wii! And the fireplace is absolutely wobderful in the cool weather. Talbingo is such a hidden gem its our 3rd time coming back to this gorgeous town but definitely not our last.

Plenty of beds, the log fire was amazing, kitchen was well stocked with appliances. The house was very clean. We appreciated all the TV’s and Airconditioning.
No wifi, if your not with Telstra you’ll have no internet or phone access in Talbingo.

This is a beautiful place to stay in a small quite town with a quick drive to Selwyn and Tumit.

Ollie’s was clean and tidy. I really liked that the wood was supplied for the fire. The kids loved the TV and DVD player in their room.

This house has a kitchen with all the things you need, a renovated bathroom, a great wood stove. Check in process was very easy, good parking in the driveway too. The town has lovely bird life and even the odd kangaroo wandering around suburbia. The owner responsiveness was just fantastic. We found it such a great experience altogether. Would stay there again for sure.

Well equipped holiday house
Lovely and comfortable place to stay, very well equipped kitchen and clean house. All bedrooms and lounge rooms have heaters plus a wood fire to provide warmth in colder months. Additional toilets also helped if staying with a big family or big group of friends. Walking distance to Country Club and playground. Would definitely come back again!

Good base to water ski from
Close to local country club, good for a feed and a few drinks after a day out on the dam. Plenty of room inside and out for a large family or family and friends group. Split systems installed in each room which is handy for the warmer months. Lots of local wild life, Peafowl make their way between the town and neighboring properties and if you venture out at night and might just find a bandicoot and a gecko or two. Off street parking for cars, bikes and or boats.

This property is the most well equipped property we have ever stayed at. It had everything. Owner was easy to communicate with. Property and location a star find. Can’t wait to go again.

Great little place, neat tidy and clean.
Was a great place to stay. Easy access to all places to adventure. Was a little sad some of the things I chose the place for were not working eg Wii, coffee pod. But all in all a great place.
