This was our second time staying at this property. It is a great location with the lift in front of the house with a true ski in ski out. There is plenty of room for the 6 of us. Even with the lack of snow this weekend, everyone was still able to ski. We really enjoyed the house and our time together. We will be back again for Ski Trip 3.0.

Perfect vacation house for enjoying everything beech mountain has to offer. Easily fit the 7adults and 2children. Parking space easily fit two oversized vehicles. Covered area with large hot tub and gas grill was a great addition to the already wonderful location.

We had a wonderful trip to Beech. The place was perfectly designed to have fun on the slopes.

This is my third time staying at Beech Mountain and about 10th time going. This place had the best views. The set up was perfect for our family's needs. My dad is in a wheelchair so the 3 steps down were easy to get him into the house. Being so close to the lift meant he could watch us as we go up and start down the mountain. There was plenty of room for the whole family to each have a bed. One of the few places with a hot tub that also had the amazing view. Easy access to the slopes and to town. Great communication with the property owner. Will definitely be back!

Our family enjoyed our 2nd stay at this home. Comfortable beds, well equipped kitchen, hot water a kickin' heat! We enjoy watching the skiers from the deck or out of the windows. We are looking forward to our stay next year!

This is an awesome stay! Other than the last road to get to the house (highly recommend 4WD, as owners clearly state). Beautiful views, you can talk to people on the ski lift…it’s that close! True ski in ski out! The deck is amazing to just sit and relax on while listening to outdoor speakers. Small kitchen but well stocked. Large bedrooms with a lot of sleeping areas for multiple families. Best of the all, the host is amazing! One of the best I’ve ever booked with and we travel, using VRBO, a lot!! Communication was wonderful! He kept us up to date on weather and road conditions and truly made our stay amazing! Highly recommend!

Plenty of space. Rooms are cozy. Beds are comfy. Kitchen has everything needed to cook. Small grocery close by. Hot tub is perfect after long day of riding the slopes. Highly recommended.

Our family of five including three children (9, 11, 13), had an amazing time skiing at Beech Mountain. You can't beat this location - right next to the ski lift at the top of Lower Shawneehaw, which is a beginner/intermediate slope. Staying here allowed us to maximize our ski time by avoiding the lines and expense of taking breaks and eating at the resort. We were also able to take advantage of night skiing (5PM - 10PM) which has fewer people and much shorter lift lines (in some cases, we didn't wait at all). Our favorite feature of this house is the location, but we also really enjoyed having three bedrooms and 2.5 baths which gave our family some room to spread out. The kitchen has everything we needed to prepare meals and enjoy them together. The downstairs entrance and ski equipment area made getting in and out very convenient. Communication with David was excellent. We highly recommend staying here for your family ski trip.

Great place to stay. Right off ski lift

We had a great stay, with only a couple of minor concerns. The hot tub was not working. Dave offered to provide a full refund and had already ordered the parts to repair it, but they didn't arrive in time. Also, for some reason, several flies kept showing up. There was a fly swatter available, but they kept coming. Overall though, we had a wonderful time and the view of the mountains from the cabin was spectacular!

We had an amazing stay at the Chalet. The GPS did bring us straight to the driveway. The place was very clean, comfy beds and an awesome sectional to unwind on. David was very responsive when we asked questions. The location is amazing as you are at the top of the ski lift with a great view. I would note that the downstairs bedroom can sound quite loud when people are walking around upstairs, but other than late, a great place to escape. I would definitely recommend taking a visit here.

The house was clean and included everything we needed. We cooked breakfast and dinner in the kitchen and did not lack anything. The beds were very comfortable - The queen beds and the bunk beds had great mattresses and sheets. The views from balcony at sunrise were amazing! We enjoyed the hot tub and the large gas grill outside as well. The neighbors were friendly and there were deer in the backyard every day!

Three state view is outstanding! The house was great and super convenient to everything in town. If you are a skier or biker this house is perfect. Sitting on the porch, relaxing and enjoying the view may be the best. The hot tub is a great plus.

This place had the best views and I loved the decor, furniture, set up, and especially the hot tub. The party lights were a wonderful extra. Perfect for ski in and ski out. Great communication with owner and about everything you need for the kitchen. Bathrooms had plenty of hot water. Views upstairs and downstairs on both decks. I can't say enough of how we loved this place and would love to come back again

Fabulous location to the slopes and hot tub for relaxing in after a day of skiing. My family of four made great memories in this cozy chalet. We look forward to coming back! Also, David was very prompt and helpful in communicating with us before and during our stay.

The location was perfect and exactly as described. The kitchen was slightly smaller than I expected but it had everything that you would need. The view was spectacular. The ease of being able to ski in/out was so convenient. It was very nice having the hot tub after a long day of skiing. It seemed like it would be hard to find but Waze did work. The public parking has moved behind Brick Oven Pizza if you need that option. Overall we definitely plan to stay here again.

Our family really enjoyed our stay. The view is amazing (especially sunrise). Watching the people on the slopes was fun for those who didn't ski/board. Outdoor music and hot tub was enjoyed. Kitchen was stocked well and had all we needed to prepare our meals. Beds are comfortable - how water that lasted for all to shower. We will be back!

The chalet was perfect! We were 4 teen/tweens and 3 adults with plenty of room. As a mom who doesn't ski, this cabin was perfect for the kids to ski in and out at the top of the blue slope. The kids enjoyed the freedom while I enjoyed the warmth and ability to see my kids on the lifts and skiing. The chalet was well stocked. We cooked all meals at the house and the grill was nice. We watched movies at night on the big tv in the main living area on the most comfortable couch ever! The hot tub was an added bonus for kids and adults! The owner, David was extremely helpful and quick to respond to all my questions! We have been going to Beech Mountain for several years and this was our best trip yet! We hope to stay again next year!

We had such an amazing long weekend and the house made it extra special. It was clean, well appointed, and the proximity to the slopes can’t be beat! Perfect for our family of four. The kids had a ball and will definitely be back!

Our extended family enjoyed our stay here on our ski trip to Beech Mountain. It was a perfect location and offered ski in and ski out. Balconies offered beautiful views for our non-skiers to watch the activity outside. Well stocked kitchen. Owners even provided a Christmas tree with other decorations to make our stay more personal. Fabulous chalet overlooking slopes. Perfect views. Walk on to the slopes! Everything was wonderful!

This was our 2nd stay on this sweet little street. My 3 girls love this location and my parents loved watching the safely from the large windows and decks. You cannot ask for a more convenient ski in/ski out location and the home is cozy and comfortable with everything you’ll need to enjoy your stay! We’ll be back next year!

My family enjoyed our stay at the Beech Mountain cabin. It was clean, well stocked, and provided great access to the Beech Mountain slope it is on. The Owner communicated promptly and clearly. We would readily stay at this property again!

Very pleased with everything! Check in and communicating with owner was easy and quick to respond. The view is absolutely amazing! This is definitely a place to stay for those who want to ski Beech. My husband enjoyed just walking out the door and he was on the slopes. I enjoyed be able to watch the skiers while staying warm in the comfortable house. We definitely want to stay again!

Nicely stocked cabin right on the slopes. Parking sufficient for 2 large vehicles (better than surrounding properties). Well stocked and clean. The space is small, but well laid out, so that it does not feel so small. Nicer in person than in the pictures. The view was incredible. We would love to come back and stay during ski season! We had a total of 4 adults, and 4 kids (between our 2 families) and the space worked fine. Might have been a bit tight with ski gear in tow, but I think it would still work fine. We spent a lot of time on the deck enjoying the view. The family that came with us contacted the owner the first day and the response and follow up was quick. My husband could not find his keys after getting home and the housekeeper found them and the owners are mailing them. We only have positive things to say!

David’s place is probably one of the best on Skiloft. It’s at the base with a great view. In September no problems with access on Skiloft, but in like January can be challenging; the closer to the bottom of SL the better IMO and this one is at the base. They’ve solved the parking challenges that most all SL rentals have with an investment into a nice parking area. Easy to park in front and unload relatively quick too, which is important☝️IMO at 5000 ft, no big stairs to main door! Galax still does have a little bit of a pitch btw for snow conditions. When lower Shawneehaw open you’d be right there in the action and can ski off the back deck, or walk a few steps over to Upper. Mountain bike trails right in front too to get down to the lift or just sit out and watch people blazing down. In summer easy to walk up SL a little bit to the easement then hike up the Upper Shawneehaw slope to 5506 skybar… ~20-30min hike.Inside the space is used nicely for one of the post round houses. Two families could share with one set adults in master and kids in next room with other adults down, or adults all up with kids down. There’s also a half bath down which is nice, and a good working washer and dryer (how they got those in there might be an enigma you may ponder the entire stay along with other vacation deep thoughts while enjoying time on the lower and upper decks in the tall Adirondack chairs, by the chiminea fire, or chillin in the hot tub). Kitchen has space, stocked, and most everything you need.. and has dishwasher and sink with disposal. Overall great stay on the mountain, and David a very gracious host, pleasure to work with, and quick to help!
