The cleanliness has been neglected for a while. Dust/dirt accumulation was especially obvious on light fixtures above the dining room table. The glass door has mold between the panes and it was obvious in the light. The table was broken and chair cushion material was coming off all over. Management was responsive and made the table useable. They offered to have the unit cleaned but I refused to avoid interruption on our stay. I assume the cleaning will be addressed so i wouldnt be afraid to stay again. Unit is planned for update and that should address other concerns not mentioned.

We arrived to the property to find that the condo had not been cleaned properly. After a 13 hour drive we had to come straight in and wash bed linens. There was mold in the bathrooms, hair clogging the drains, rat poop in the cabinets with the dishes, the fridge hadn't been cleaned at all, Cockroaches under the cabinets and behind the beds, the kitchen table was broken and 2 chairs was unfit to sit in and the bed linens was stained (with blood). We called to report it on Saturday when we arrived. The lady was nice and we was told they would send cleaners and an inspector out the next morning. Well needless to say by Tuesday we decided to clean the entire condo ourselves because of the filth. So we had to take a whole day from our vacation to clean. Then on Friday we began to pack up and the cockroaches had made their way into our personal belongings. All around the worst place I have ever stayed!

We have stayed at Reef Club for 13 years now and used Itrip for the past several years. Always easy to book and very helpful when something goes wrong. They are quick to respond and I find them very nice. We love Reef Club because of the ease to the beach and pool. We cook out on the grill and also play a little tennis. Very family friendly. If you are looking for family time come here. Not great for romance as it is very loud and lots of children which is why we choose it for our family vacation. We are locals and love the convenience of staying close to home.

The grounds, pool, and green space were very nice. The turf area was outstanding! Thank you Kirk! The condo needed updating. The dining room chairs were in need of repair and recovering. Lots of garbage under beds. The knobs were off the dresser, the wallpaper was peeling in the bedroom, missing couch cushions, the dryer was rusty on the outside and noisy. There were cobwebs in one of the bedrooms, dining room light bulbs were out, door from master bedroom to deck did not open.

When we 1st arrived we noticed several of the back cushions on the couch were missing and there was a screw sticking up through dining room table. I sent an email and almost immediately received a response. The next morning someone showed up with several pillows for the couch and the screw was cut down so was flush with the table. We then noticed that the hot water was running out quickly. I was concerned since now it was Friday, but a plumber was at our unit quickly and a part was replaced. We had no other issues. I was very pleased with the response from the property manager!! The unit has not been updated in a while but this is reflected in the rental cost so I was OK with that!

This is our second stay at the Reef Club, and we once again had a great time. We chose unit 108 because it had the outside spiral stairs down to the pool area which was the number one request from our kids. This unit is obviously in need of renovation, so we were not surprised by little things like old furniture with knobs missing or old chairs with vinyl cushions shedding. However, we were disappointed that it was not cleaner when we arrived. Two bedrooms had cobwebs in the ceiling corners, shelves were not dusted, and there were crumbs in the cushions of the couch. The dining room table was visibly broken and should have been repaired before we arrived. That being said, the personnel we dealt with to get it repaired were quick to respond which we appreciated. The pool area was very well maintained, and we loved that the spa was always clean and hot. Overall, we once again enjoyed our stay.

Very very poor nothing updated furniture falling apart …cushions missing off the couch very sad state of affairs

This property should not be available for rental. We have stayed at the Reef club five or six times in different units prior to this trip and have never experienced this.This unit at Reef Club 108 is dirty, Roaches, layers of dust on everything , dirty carpet, broken and non functioning doors, no fire extinguishers, the egress door from the master bedroom won’t open and the furnace/AC unit is caked with dirt and dust and the filter is black, there is mold in both showers. The dining room table and two chairs were broken, we had to eat every meal on the balcony, which was just as dirty as inside. I contacted iTrips to be moved or refunded in order to vacate this unit, spoke to three people, all they would do was send someone to clean. It would take months to clean this unit. I have used VRBO several times and have never had to deal with ITrips, don’t know what the affiliation is between VRBO and ITrips. I assumed that your company would not allow something like this to happen and if so, take care of your customer. Obviously, I was wrong. I wasn’t asking for anything more than what I paid for and if this is the way you run your company, I might have to look elsewhere. I have pictures to prove what I’m saying is true, and had a property manager from the Reef Club walk through and look at everything

Out dated condo that we found had quite a bit of damage to when we got there. Chairs reported broken previously were never fixed. Lights that didn't work, very old furniture and some appliances. Cockroach in the kitchen cabinet. The price reflects the age and lack of tlc to the unit. We will go back to IRB but will not stay in this unit

Great spot big room had a great time

The location was great as was the view from balcony. However, we found the sheets stained, hair on shower walls, cockroaches in one bedroom. The furniture in poor repair, dining room chairs were broken and wobbly, dining room table was broken, couch has tears in it, spare bedroom has wallpaper ripped off the wall, carpeting was very dirty. The Reef Club is nice with private pool and hot tub, with easy access to the beach. Parking was good also, right under condo.

We have been coming to IRB for many years and this unit is the worst we have stayed in. Much of the furniture is either different to that pictured, broken, or or both. We could not bring ourselves to use any of the crockery, cutlery or towels without washing them 1st and had to call in the maids after the 1st night to replace the linen and clean the place through. The dryer barely worked and we found cockroaches until we sprayed for them ourselves. While we made the most of it to enjoy our vacation we are extremely disappointed with this unit, particularly at the price point, we expected much better.

The condo was a little outdated and had some cosmetic issues, like the wall paper in the twin size bedroom was ripped. Other than that it was fine.

We had another great stay at the Reef Club. Love the stairs right off the balcony. Tennis court is fun to have for pickle ball.

The condos are in a great location. Lots to do and in walking distance to restaurants and ice cream. You have the beach and the pool. We had a large group of people that rented five different condos. Some were a lot nicer than others. We had a great time. We will be back.

The actual facility was nicely laid out with the pool and beach access, however our specific condo was very outdated and dirty. Carpet in a place where you will track in sand is not ideal. They cleaners were still there after 4 pm check in and they couldn’t finish sweeping due to the sweeper breaking. They never came back as they said it was up to the property owners. That also made it so we could not sweep up anything all week. The balcony doors were so filthy you couldn’t see through them. We still enjoyed our stay, but would just stay in a different condo if we ever came back.

We liked the parking was convenient to our unit. Winding staircase may be difficult for seniors, but the elevator worked great too! The pool was lovely. The beach was hop skip and jump We know the area for dining and enjoy it so much. Our unit needed some tlc, but worked for a ladies retreat!! Lots of talking and laughing.

The location is absolutely perfect, but the condo was dirty we cleaned it quite extensively when we got there. I went and bought a new furnace filter it was very dirty and my kids have bad allergies. The dryer wouldn’t dry any clothes at all no matter how many times you ran it had to use a dryer at our friends condo. Also the cable tv and internet was very spotty when it worked as well as them not paying the bill and getting it turned off. Honestly location of the condo was the reason it was a good vacation. The condo could use some work.

Great view, right on the beach. This unit could be great and command more $$$ if it was nicer inside. Condo desperately needs an interior face lift, carpet is old an smells of old cat? Urine. Had a plug in air freshener but could still smell it. Living room furniture, a wrap around couch is old and torn, needs new couch and chairs/ recliners. Kitchen is “ok”. Single beds need new mattresses. Etc, etc. washer dryer are old but work well. AC broke down while we were there. Management sent over a portable to use with two fans to get by. AC was repaired in two days. So that was good. All in all it is a nice place but needs updating real bad. Has elevator and carts for getting things to your condo. And your parking spot is right under the condo.

For somebody like us who cared most about location that was great,place it self really outdated but everything worked in it except tv in kids bedroom,but they told us about it… i would say the price for the place for where it is was really good,if the place was renovated i bet the price would be double, so i would say over all we had great time and it not cost me fortune…

The location is absolutely gorgeous. You have a beautiful view of the sunsets and the ocean water. The pool is heated and very clean and the hot tub is wonderful on a cool evening! The grills are great for cooking outside and they are kept quite clean. The condo was nice but really needs a deep cleaning of the carpets and some fresh paint.

We loved our stay. Location,amenities,and overall stay was amazing. We will be back. The condo is a touch outdated however homie and comfortable.

I feel like for the money the condo should be clean and updated. The carpet was not clean, white couch shouldn’t be in a rental. The ceiling fans are disgusting and the one in master bathroom wiggled so much you couldn’t leave it on. 1 bed in the room with the twin beds looked broken it was sunk in the middle. The bathroom drain was clogged, the sliding glass door from master bedroom didn’t open & the sliding door from living room lock was broke. The location is the best thing about this place. I feel like we spent to much on this condo and won’t be back. First thing I’d do is check the cleaning crew and return some money.

The stay was amazing, until the last few days. They were doing work on other units above us and the noise was crazy. But the unit was beautiful and very accommodating.

The condo smelled like mildew and was filthy as heck! Laundry in washer. Trash under beds, stained carpet, food in dirty refrigerator, holes in walls, bugs crawling on bed, dust everywhere, broken door with no handle. I can go on and on! Do not recommend this condo and will NOT ever rent again!! I have pictures and management needs to refund me cleaning fees!

I read the reviews before booking the property but our family seems to be more tolerant than others so we thought it would probably be fine. The condo looks like it was decorated in the 80’s and hasn’t been updated at all. The condominium itself was very nice and well kept but this unit will be just as all the reviews say. I will say that it had a beautiful view of the pool and ocean but the rest was less than desirable. The wallpaper in the room with the twin beds has been peeled off in places and the lightbulb was coming detached and did not work on the overhead light fixture. There was a broken chair in the corner of the living room for the dining room table. There was dust on the outdated entertainment center. The couch was very old, yet was still pretty comfortable. There was an end table being used as a coffee table and the match was sitting in the master closet. The unit was hot most of the time. We would set on 72 degrees like it said but it read 76 or 77 most of the time, especially at night. There was a fan in the front bedroom so I assume this has been an ongoing problem. We also saw a roach in the second bathroom. I know they spray one of the weeks but obviously it didn’t last the whole month. There was still trash under the beds upon arrival so I question how well it had been cleaned, if at all, before we came. Again, our family can go with the flow of things but the last straw was having no hot water the last 2 days. We assumed on the second to last day that it was out because we were taking showers so late in the day but there was also absolutely no hot water on the morning we had to leave (so it was pointless to call to let anyone know). I think the unit could be very nice if updates were made. All the furniture needs to be replaced, except for the kitchen table which was nice, although one of the chairs was broken and screws were falling out of the others. We would consider returning to the property but would definitely choose a different unit. It was NOT worth the price we paid.

Condo is dated as other reviewers have said. The location is awesome and the sunset view from the balcony is fabulous! The Reef condos are definitely for families. Kids are everywhere-pool, hot tub, beach, parking garage and tennis court. If your looking for a family with kids vacation, this is the place! The condition of condo upon check-in was less than desirable. Covid Cleaning check list was not completed and there was mold in the master bath shower and hair. Sliding door handle broken and dust on glasses and shelves in the bar area. Wallpaper ripped off in 3rd bedroom. I would not stay here again unless traveling with children. Management did deliver new beach chairs right away as the beach chairs in condo were an insurance hazard, rusted and broken. Overall, if the condition the condo was acceptable to anyone, I would question the rental standards of the owner and management.
