I could write a book about SBV. This was my third time at this paradise wonderland. For everyone else it was their first stay. They were blown away at how incredible this villa was and all it had to offer. First off, the 360 views are incredible. No matter how much I tried to tell them about this place, it couldn't compare to them experiencing such an amazing piece of paradise. The pool and jacuzzi was an added bonus. And I can not forget Dusty (the dog) such a wonderful addition. Kim went above and beyond to make sure all our needs were taken care of and did an outstanding job on catering my niece's birthday dinner. She said it was the best birthday ever. And I must add that the beds were absolutely the best in comfort. My niece and I watched the morning sunrises with our coffee each morning. And they are a thing of beauty. The weather was perfect and swimming and snorkeling was great. If you are looking for beauty, peace and tranquility you will not go wrong with SBV. Liz, you have an incredible piece of paradise. Thank you for sharing it.

We had a wonderful week with perfect weather. The views are incredible and the accommodations are perfectly laid out. We took some boat tours and drove to town a couple of times. But, there really was no need to go anywhere… relaxing at the house was wonderful.

We enjoyed renting Sugar Beach Villa for my parents 50th wedding anniversary. Large enough property to give each family adequate space. We loved eating delicious meals prepared by Kim in the separate dining room. Kim went above and beyond to make sure we felt welcome and had everything we needed. Our particular week had unusual rain which means the mosquitos were bad. Kim talked to the owner Liz and had the property sprayed for us which was very helpful. The local beaches in Little Exuma are some of the most beautiful we’ve ever seen! All of the recommendations from Liz and Kim were great. Highly recommend Blu for lunch and/or dinner and Santana’s, Dexter for Bone Fishing and AJ for boating around the island. We hope to be back real soon!!

We has an fantastic stay in this villa. There were several members of our party who were turning 50 and this was an excellent place to celebrate. The property was beautiful with many beautiful places to sit and watch the magnificent ocean. The kitchen house was our common space and we enjoyed it immensely. Kim was an outstanding property manager who took such good care of us all week. We loved having the dogs on the property and it was difficult for us to say goodbye to them. I can not say enough what a fantastic place this was and the people of Exuma were helpful and friendly. I will definitely plan to make another trip there in the future.

This is the nicest place we have ever stayed! The pristine white sand beach, the incredible colors of the turquoise waters, and lush greenery are so calming. And the property is spectacular - beautifully furnished, with (I counted!) 15 separate seating areas outside! The owner and manager took great care of us and offered lots of helpful suggestions. A truly magical spot!

This was our first visit to Exuma! What a place to experience the beautiful island! Kim and Andrew were amazing and felt like family by the end! This house is unbelievable- views from everywhere, beautifully decorated, and spacious! Highly recommend!

Just want to say a huge thank you to Liz and her team for making this vacation a once in a life time experience for me and my family. Liz helped coordinate our vacation multiple times due to Covid 19 delaying our stay. She kept me up To date on all government regulations and put me in contact with everyone I needed to know in order to make it to Exuma on time and safe (shout out to Claudette). She helped me plan a surprise cake for my dad and husband along with fun adventures each day to take my family on. The house was more then we could dream of. Everyone in our party still say it’s the best sleep they have ever had. It’s a safe oasis that everyone should visit once or twice to get away and enjoy the beauty Sugar Beach has to offer. Liz treated us like family and checked on us daily. You honestly can’t ask for a better host. Thanks for making 2020 not seem like a total loss Liz. We will always remember Little Exuma as a bright light during a pandemic.

This is my second stay at Sugar Beach Villa. Having been here before I knew what pure paradise this place was but going back again just confirmed my first impressions of this beautiful villa. I took 4 other people that had never been to the Bahamas and they were in total awe. I wanted them to experience the island but they never wanted to leave SBV and I didn't blame them. It's a magnificent place that must be experienced. They all left with memories that will last a lifetime and I will be back. Thank you Liz :) Everyone made our stay so incredibly enjoyable!!

This is our fourth visit to Exuma and this property was hands down the best. Like other reviewers have said, the pictures truly don't do it justice...it was breathtaking. The grounds are huge and there is so much space to spread out. There are three separate areas near the ocean to relax, which was a really nice feature. We used the kayaks a lot and enjoyed paddling around the islands off shore as well as Tropic of Cancer beach, which is the next beach down. We booked a boat trip with Captain Linton to the sand bars at the tip of Little Exuma, and that was wonderful. We also did some fishing while out on the boat and caught more than enough for dinner. The staff was really responsive and helpful. On a couple of occasions Linton came right down when we contacted him about something we needed, which was unexpected. Prior to our visit we asked about a dvd player for some family movies we wanted to watch, and the owners were very accommodating and purchased one for our use. Very appreciated. I would highly recommend this rental, everyone in our party said it was their favorite and they would love to stay there again. Some details about the property: -The master bedroom mattress was very firm. My husband was fine with it, but it was too hard for me. I found a softer rollaway bed mattress in the closet that I put on top, which worked really well. -Paper products are provided. -There is no office style bottled water dispenser, so be sure to buy water. We were caught off guard and so just boiled our water until we got to the store. Linton said he drinks the water out of the filtered fridge dispenser, but we didn't want to take a chance. -No seeums were really not an issue. They were there in the early morning and showed up right at dusk, but we came inside at dusk and were sure to keep the doors shut. -For those who are trying to arrange where family members will stay, know that the Casuarina guesthouse (the one with the bed made of driftwood style wood), is much roomier and nicer than the other guesthouse. We had two married children with their spouses and they both were interested in the Casuarina guesthouse, lol. -They had a ton of snorkeling gear, and it was nice quality. We brought our own, but really didn't need to.

Sugar beach Villa was the perfect place to stay for our group of 4 families! With access to the blue waters just steps away for morning and evening swims, snorkeling or kayaking it was perfect to keep adults and kids alike entertained! The accommodation was second to none and we were able to spend our evenings having cocktails on the balcony watching sunsets and cooking for our group! Linton and Ms. Glo were exceptional in providing all assistance and any information. Once we figured out the Exuma’s market in Georgetown and got our supplies we were all set! Fully recommend a boat trip to visit the Thunderball Grotto, swimming with pigs and Sharks, Iguana island and turtle feeding! All wonderful experiences. Being at SBV allowed us to disconnect from the world but had wifi if needed! Cannot say enough about Liz, Ms. Glo, and their constant contact and also for Exuma’s natural beauty and the pristine waters of the Caribbean!

The majority of the house went on a tour and were gone the entire second day. During that time housekeeping came by and cleaned and we had some more food dropped off at the house by house staff. The housekeeper saw the cash when she cleaned up that morning and left it on the kitchen counter. The staff also said he saw the money when he dropped off groceries that afternoon. I honestly don’t think either members of the house staff took them money, but there were 2 men with the house staff when the groceries were delivered. We have no idea who those guys were. All I know is by the time we all got home (about an hr or 2 after the food was delivered) the money had grown legs and walked away. As hard as I tried to make sure the housekeeper knew that we were not accusing her of taking the money, she absolutely thought we were accusing her and therefore wasn’t the most polite for the remainder of our stay. Aside of the missing cash, we loved the house. I would totally stay here again, I just wouldn’t leave any money laying around.

The William's Town property is an incredibly beautiful property with luxury, serenity and location. Being able to walk to three beaches from your front door combined with the opportunity to make your own meals and relax was just what we were looking for. We traveled with our 5 and 12 year old sons as well as close friends with an 18 month old son. No problems at all making it a safe environment and the walk distance lagoon was a perfect place to let the kids play in the water without worrying about waves or the tides. The staff was wonderful and engaging giving us as much space or support as we wanted. It's important to understand though that Little Exuma is not a developed tourist focused island. There's none of the duty free shops, tours or night life like you would get in Grand Bahamas. For us, that's exactly what we wanted but that's not for everyone. We have never gone to the same property twice in all of our travels due to the appetite for new experiences but this property is the exception - we'll be back! 100% recommended from me!

I wanted to take the entire family of five teenage grand children and four adults to a secluded tropical paradise. and we surely found what we were looking for at Sugar Beach Villa. Located on several acres of beautifully landscaped tropical foliage, the house was extremely well furnished and had the added benefit of two separate cottages just steps from the main house so we could really spread out. The view of the water and skies were magnificent in all directions and there was easy snorkeling right off the beach which was only a short distance away. We all had a very memorable, special week.

Wonderful property that is in a very secluded area away from the main town on the island. Beautiful views, decks, and second floor living area.

My extended family and I just returned from 8 fantastic days at Sugar Beach Villa. The property is absolutely stunning. Each day we were there during the 8 days brought new revelations. So many places for family unit and groups to sit and enjoy the incredible views that come with such a paradise setting. The owners have gone out of their way to create an atmosphere that fosters togetherness and unity. The property is also laid out in a manner that allows each individual family unit to have privacy when they desire it. Oh yea, and don't forgot to look up at night as the stars are simply amazing. You are left with a simple feeling of awe ! We also utilized the services of Chef Anne for breakfast and dinner each day and I must say she is a true artist. When we returned to our home in Cleveland several of us have been left asking, where is Chef Anne? Also, Ms Glo took immaculate care of the property and ourselves while we were there . And now on to the surrounding beaches, words cannot describe how wonderful and fresh they are. We hired a boat captain for half of the days we were there and were never disappointed with the days adventure. I have never seen water with so many colors of blue matched up against lengths of beach that are seemingly untouched by human existence. The deep blue of the deep ocean matched against the aqua blue of the shallow areas contrasted with an even different blue in the sky makes one wonder how nature could be such a perfect artist. And then again you cannot match the feeling when sitting out at night and looking up at the sky surrounded by your family and friends. Sugar Beach Villa is a very special place and you can be sure this family will be back. But in the meantime we have memories that will last a lifetime. I look at Sugar Beach Villa as being the entrance to a world that unfortunately few people will ever get to experience. If you are lucky enough to go to Little Exuma do not miss this gem of a property!

We arrived at Sugar Beach Villa after a long day of travel. At first we were a bit surprised at the remote location, but it would become one of its most endearing features. We were a party of four adults and six children (ages 11-13), the expansive layout of the buildings and the property allowed everyone to feel as though they had their own private homes. The sun decks with amazing views, beautiful outdoor furniture and direct access to the beach right in front of the property were absolutely spectacular, and allowed us to walk the shoreline during low tide without seeing anyone else! On high tide there is not much of a beach but the stairs from the sun decks offer an easy access into the water to cool yourself. The Tropic of Cancer beach is also close by and an excellent option for families with small children. The separate buildings were beautifully decorated giving the place a luxurious yet homey feel. The wrap around decks were the perfect place for morning coffee and evening cocktails. The amenities were never lacking. The wifi worked well, plenty of towels, dishes, condiments etc. Glo, our ever present housekeeper kept the house spotless so when we returned from our daily outings everything was in its place. The nearby town of Williams Town offered a couple of local eateries giving us a chance to experience true local flavor. The entire property was extremely well kept and made us feel like we were the only ones on the island. It gave us that instant "at home" feel, where we could kick back and relax. It was a fabulous place for the adults and children to play. Sugar Beach Villa will indeed be a place we return to. If you are looking for an unforgettable week with lots of privacy, amazing water and sweeping views look no further!

Our family of 5 adults and 4 children just returned from a weeklong stay at Sugar Beach. The week could not have been more perfect. From the first day where one of the children walked into the water and immediately found a starfish to midweek where there was the most amazing rainbow over the property to the last night and the full moon over the water. This property was perfect for our family. Kaserina, the smaller house, was the ideal getaway for my mother-in-law. She was steps from us, but able to get away from the bustle that comes with families who have young children. The main house provided everything we needed. One family took the master (king bed) while the other took the room with double beds. Two of the older children shared the room with one double-bed, and the smallest took the last room with a single bed. One of the best features of this home are the large wide porches that surround it. We spent most of our evenings out here listening to the waves crash on the rocks and enjoying the breeze off of the water. We used the recommended chef 3 of the nights, and he was truly amazing. Gavin is a talented cook, very accommodating, and a pleasure to be around. We also enjoyed having the masseuse come for afternoon massages. Lyn was incredibly sweet and gave a great massage onsite. Another gem of this property has to be the caretakers, Miss Glo and Linton. Miss Glo made sure the house was picked up and clean every day and that our bed linens and towels were fresh. We enjoyed two boat days with Linton who took us to Sandy Cay (an absolute must if you come) where we saw knee-deep crystal clear water for miles, he took us lobster diving and caught 8 lobsters, we swam with nurse sharks, we found giant starfish, we stopped for lunch at Chat and Chill, it was two days full of memories. You are on a wide expanse of oceanfront. There are great spots to lounge on the water, but the water itself (right out front) isn't the best for small children (waves and rocks). BUT, there is a fabulous cove off to the side that was just perfect. Follow the road and a trail, and it opens up to what amounts to a (gorgeous) private wading pool that is ideal for small children. There are many trails on the property. It is like being on a private resort, and you are right next to the Tropic of Cancer beach. We loved every minute of our time here, and we hope to return. My daughter even said as we left, "I am sad. It feels like leaving summer camp."

Sugar beach is pure heaven!! A time to remember and water that will make your heart sing. Not a better getaway for the soul.

If you are looking for privacy and a view that is second to none, this is the place. Little Exuma is like nowhere else in the world and this beach house is awesome. The long stretch of private beach and stunning view, are second to none. Extremely tastefully decorated and lots of out buildings which makes the property great for several families to share. The owners have thought of everything and if you want a true escape to relax by the ocean, this is the place. Rarely do you find acres of privacy on a beach like this and Sugar Beach Villa is truly rare paradise. I would give it 10 stars if possible and I hope we can make it back again soon! We have been fortunate to rent several of the higher end villas on Great and Little Exuma over the last 20 years, including some that are no longer available to rent. We have rented Sugar Beach Villa (SBV) several times in recent years. Without exception or reservation in any category, SBV is head and shoulders above the competition, whether your group is large or small. A great friend who came to stay with us at SBV said to me on leaving, "I have been to ALL the great houses in the Bahamas. Sugar Beach is the best".

This was the most beautiful vacation ever!!!!, The house, the location, the owner, the food, everything was gorgeous. House is beautiful and ocean the best. I can´t wait to go back to that paradise. Families, couples and even singles can enjoy this magnificent piece of heaven. You can fish, snorkel, swim and enjoy the many virgin islands around. Habanians are very nice and the most important, place is safe. You can walk or drive a bicycle, you can do yoga or have a relaxing massage. We had read much about the Exumas and the extraordinary merging of blue ocean and pale sand but nothing quite prepared us for the sheer remoteness and beauty of this place. We loved the contrast of luxury throughout the property with the rawness of the surroundings. Nothing was a problem and we felt at home immediately. The views from every balcony are incredible. Every morning we worked out on one of the ocean terraces; breathing in the pure sea air and the magical expanse of water around us. The house itself is a real home, offering privacy to everyone staying and great communal areas. The day trips out on the boat showed us the varied life along these islands - from bar hopping to remote sand bars with the clearest water I have ever seen. This was the paradise lost we all yearn for in our busy lives. Highly recommended.

This location is off the main stream for privacy yet close enough to the town shops and markets to be part of the main stream. Lovely living room for gathering family and friends. Privacy in separate quarters and bedrooms when you need your "down time". The home is immaculately clean. I would highly recommend it for a romantic get away or family reunion. This has to be one of the prettiest places in the world!

Sugar Beach is a Fabulous property . Lovely& extremely comfortable house with 360 degree deck so one always can access an ocean breeze. Beautifully decorated thorough out ; equally well maintained and very clean always. Caretaker is absolutely wonderful and a great boat captain as well. Two beach cabanas ,private beach!and the entire property is kept pristine. Extremely private with easy waking access to Tropic of Cancer Beach- amazingly beautiful and wonderful walking. Everything is perfect and worth every penny. Just simply unbeatable.

We have had many extended stays in Exuma over the last 10 years and never tire of the island's hospitality, its seas and beaches and its peacefulness. This wonderful home allows you to enjoy Exuma to the full. The house's design and its oceanside location provide picture post-card views, privacy without isolation and steady, gentle breezes. We never once resorted to air conditioning. Villa-owner Liz has decorated and furnished the house in tasteful Bahamian style - the detached kitchen/breakfast room is perfect for getting guests together in the morning for coffee and tea and to plan the upcoming day. There is a small beach in front of the property, but the larger beaches, like Tropic of Cancer, are only a short distance away. It is also an easy drive to Georgetown - about 15 minutes away - for provisions, supplies, banks and restaurants. Immaculately clean and well-maintained, the villa's two guardians - including the incomparable Linton Gray - made it an unforgettable stay. I could not recommend any more highly. It is perfection. Immaculate! Every detail of this property is meticulously designed for luxurious comfort, beauty and relaxation. We can't wait for our next trip to this beautiful oasis. Our best vacation EVER!

I have stayed here many times. It gets better each stay. The owners keep improving the home, property, and boat (yes, they provide a boat and captain for trips off property that can not be missed). There really is no other home on Little Exuma that can match Sugar Beach. The owners can also provide a chef (for a fee) if you don't want to cook. The food has always been amazing and fresh. Much of the living space has been recently renovated with a new bathroom added to one of the masters. The living room has a amazing view of the ocean and the wraparound porch is great for morning coffee and afternoon cocktails. I wish I could be there several times a year. I have never been disappointed.
