We had a great time and the house was in an amazing location. Access to the beach was easy and there are plenty of other things to do in the area if you want to get out and about. Carinn is a great host and was super responsive to our questions before and during our stay.

As always, Carinn is a wonderful property manager. She responds quickly and does all she can do to make everything right.

Proximity to the beach and swimming pool really helped with 7 grandkids. The home was more beautiful than in the pictures. The floor plan worked well for the 13 of us to eat, visit and relax. Lots of outdoor seating for ocean viewing. We’ll definitely be back!

Property is beautifully overpriced. No restroom downstairs by pool. All balcony doors arent operational. No one was able to have a hot shower or bath. This listing states up to 19 people to stay and day guests can come but leave by 10pm but they'll charge an event fee if you have addl guests for the day. I booked for my 50th birthday and stated that upon bookkng but was charged event fee on top of the overpriced fee due to having an "event" a week after checkout. Watch out for the non-refundable and addl charges at there choosing. Definitely do more research on my next stsy through vrbo in Bolivar.

The home is beautiful and very comfortable. The pool put it over the top would definitely stay there again.

We all loved everything about this place. Great location, easy beach access. Golf cart was great for trips back and forth to place. Pool was so refreshing from the days heat. Can't wait for next year.

Family summer vaca's in CB have been our family's tradition for years. Since our children were small; all have their own families now and this was the best time! The house is perfect with everything you need/want. The beach was great except for some tar that we haven't seen in years (baby oil) and the pool was awesome. We celebrated the 4th with beautiful fireworks on the beach and a 73rd Birthday. We all enjoyed our stay, it just passed way too fast! This place was great! The house was perfect for our extended family. The kitchen/living area is huge and all 15 of us could be there with plenty of room. Access to the beach was easy and we really enjoyed the pool. The elevator was also a great addition that made our stay easier. Any minor issues we had were quickly addressed. We will definitely be back!

My husband and I got married here at the end of April ❤️ Everything was perfect for our stay and communication with the manager was flawless! We just couldn’t have asked for a more beautiful weekend getaway with friends and family!!! 5 stars all the way!

Great home for a big family! Lots of room and space to spread out. The ground floor was great with outdoor living and the pool under the house was awesome. (Only thing it needs is a potty and a mini fridge) The kitchen was great, everything we needed was there and the bedrooms were comfy after a long day! Boardwalk to the beach was super close and only a short walk. Only complaint is that the beach got a little rowdy with a party crowd, (fri & sat) . Loved the house so much!

A few things we loved most about the house: 1. The kitchen is gorgeous and fully stocked with supplies, making it easy to cook. 2. The deck overlooking the ocean is fantastic. The chairs out there were just lovely to spend time in. 3. The pool under the deck was amazing. It was in the shade all day and was about 10 degrees cooler down there. Several times we took our meals down there to enjoy. 4. Communication with the owner was 5 star. We had an issue with the golf cart on the first day; it was fixed immediately so we were able to enjoy it for the entire week. A few things to think about if you're planning a stay here: 1. The access to the beach is right next to the house and was very busy and loud all day and evening, so if you're looking for quiet, this is not the place during busy times. 2. Most of the bedroom/bathroom doors do not have locks on them so there is a lack of privacy. 3. 2 of the bedrooms on the first floor have glass doors (an odd choice). I saw this on someone else's review before we went so I purchased blackout hangings with suction cups from Amazon; we were able to attach those to the doors for privacy. 4. The house has a very strong musty/mold smell. I have stayed at many beach houses and understand this happens but all of our belongings smelled terrible when we got home. It was very strong. Overall we enjoyed our stay here, it was a lot of fun! Also check out A Shore Venture; we did several excursions with them at the house, they were amazing!

We have been staying at this property for years. Our grandchildren think it is ours. Obviously, we love Breathe Easy.

I highly recommend this fantasy-life beach house for any small or large groups that is very comfortable for 8-9 adults and 8-10 kids/teenagers. We had nine female friends and family ranging from ages 33-64 that got together to celebrate my 60th birthday. We watched the sun rise on the ocean-front, the sunset from the back deck, relaxed in the under deck pool and hot tub, and walked or drove the 6-person golf cart across the private bridge to sit in the surf or beach comb just yards from the house. We drove 10 minutes up Hwy-87 towards Crystal Beach to Tia Juanita’s for drinks and casual dinner and drove 30 minutes back across the free ferry to Galveston to shop along The Strand and ate at Gaido’s on the seawall. If the weather had been bad (which it wasn’t), we could have stayed inside the incredible house to watch movies, enjoy multiple fireplaces, or play board or video games in the 8-bunk room. The huge kitchen was perfect for a large group preparing meals with every appliance or dish you need, 2 sinks, a bar with an ice maker, and an industrial-size frig/freezer. A big hit was the elevator to haul up all your luggage and coolers from the lower parking/pool level to the main floor with kitchen, master suite, living/dining room, sitting room, small nursery, utility room, and a half bath. It does not go to the upper floor with two nice guest rooms, 8-bunk room, a bathroom with shower, and another bathroom with just a tub. A few tips: There are only two showers in the house: one in the main floor master suite and one upstairs with a round tub in a separate bathroom. It was a little tight with nine women trying to get ready to go out, but may not be an issue for most guest situations. There are four sets of french doors leading out to the decks, so be prepared if you have young kids.

This beach house seems like something from a dream. Beautiful beach front views and perfection from top to bottom. We found the home to be pristine with decor to match its elegance. Couldn’t have found a more perfect home and we very much enjoyed our week stay! We plan to return again.

Communication with Carinn was excellent. The house is gorgeous and spacious. Great place for family and friends to gather and visit. The views of the beach were so great we spent most of our time just sitting on the expansive porches enjoying the views. The downstairs area around the pool was such a plus as well as the bar area. We decided to cook and not eat out, and the kitchen is a chefs dream and well appointed with Everything you need to prepare meals. It is definitely a house we will stay again and also suggest to friends and family. Thank Carinn for a memorable weekend!

I rented this home for my daughter and a few of her friends. Upon entering the gated entrance to the neighborhood, I felt comfortable right away. The house is absolutely stunning and felt like home away from home. The layout of the home is so spacious and we had everything we needed at hand. Major pluses were Direct TV in every room, the view of the beach out back with private beach access, beds and linens were so comfortable and the pool and hot tub were a hit! I could go on and on. Thanks for sharing your beautiful home!

The property was as described. Very beautiful and comfortable for all. The elevator does NOT go to the third floor which was problematic for my 90 year old mother and 65 year old sister with a bad back. We had a 3 hour power outage and all the electricity did not come back on in the entire house. Carin the property manager was extremely accommodating and very nice. She had to get an electrician and an air conditioning man to come over. It took 24 hours to get everything going.

This home is beyond words! Everyone from my grandchildren to my elderly mom loved everything about it. We had 11 people and more than enough space. The weather didn’t cooperate with us and rained for 3 of our days, but the kids never missed a beat with the pool and hot tub. Having it under the deck, it kept them entertained even during the rain and wind. My daughter and her family shared the bunk room, which the grandkids thought was so cool. All the beds were very comfortable and bathrooms were great sized. The kitchen was amazing, and had plenty of room for food in the fridge and pantry. It had a great supply of dishes as well. Directions to the house were easy to follow, and parking was great. Very quiet area with quick access to the ferry to Galveston island. We are at Stingaree’s one night, and it was a great little restaurant. I would highly recommend this rental to anyone looking for an all around great retreat. We didn’t want to leave!! Carinn was the best, and responded so quickly to our questions. Thanks so much!

This property works well for our family. Communication with the property manager, Carinn, has always been A+. The property is right next to the beach access making it super convenient for a quick trip down. The access is wide enough for a golf cart but beware… it is easy to get stuck when you get to the sand. People are always willing to help you out. Our guys actually went down to help a few times. The pool and hot-tub!!! Need I say more? The kitchen is top-notch. The freezer and refrigerator are ample which is great especially if you cook in like we do. The master suite has a large bathroom with a great tub to bathe all the kids in. The tub upstairs is a Japanese soaking tub. We are tall people and have never used it. The downstairs has a half-bath. The two extra “bedrooms” could really use some privacy curtains on the doors, Carinn. 😉😊 That being said, we will be staying here until a hurricane takes it out. Love this property and it’s management.

Great house and awesome stay.

Great location, beautiful property with everything you need to have an amazing stay. Fit our family of 10 adults and two kids perfectly. One room has multiple bunks beds so could be crowded with larger number of adults but would be perfect for siblings or family with larger number of kids in tow. Home has it all and golf cart, beach chairs and pool area was the total package, something for everyone. Will definitely be back to the Breathe Easy!

Could not have picked a better place for vacation this year. This home offers everything and is big enough, so you don’t feel crowded with 20 people. The refrigerator/freezer was commercial size which was perfect, held a weeks worth of food for 20 of us. Hats off to the property manger great communication and everything ready when we arrived.

You can stop looking for Crystal Beach rentals. This is the one! The house was an absolute dream. The “bunk room” was an excellent utilization of space with 8 full size beds set up in bunk sets. The house was clean, well lit, gorgeously decorated. We had zero issues. The beach access was pretty wonderful, as was the pool and hot tub. Management was responsive and helpful. Beautiful views from every room, and multiple exterior deck options. It was a 10/10 on every level. Thank you so much for sharing your beautiful home.
