EVERYTHING We saw the northern lights two nights our of 4 right from the balcony- no need to engage in costly “Northern Lights chaser tour”. The location is remote (1 hour easy drive from Tromso) and just divine - relaxing - engaging - waterfront to the Norwegian Sea, 15 mins from beautiful Sommarøy. The quality of accommodation is unquestionable. Impeccably clean with a very attentive Manager Espen who could help us with our every need.

Nothing- it met all expectations

Our favorite place during our roadtrip to Norway. Espen is a great host (we left with the two maps printed, we're sorry!). He helped us with everything we needed. Thank you so much. The view is amazing, there is a lot of nice paths to do with 2 kids (5 and 7) at 15 minutes of driving. Amazing beaches (the water is very cold even in July). The Jacuzzi is great and 2 reindeers came every morning to say hello ! The appartment is big and with everything we needed. We all loved the place and around. Thanks again.

Location is a little bit "in the middle of nowhere" but it is the reason what makes this property special. We really enjoyed the tranquility what meets you there. It's so calm and quiet around. The owner is very nice guy, also we took sauna with jacuzzi and it was great as it was raining heavily outside

We missed some attention to the details (i.e. hood in the kitchen just extracts everything into the cupboard) but in general the place is nice and comfortable

Location and sea view

This place is absolutely stunning! Such a great experience! The apartment is so comfortable, so lovely. You have there everything that you need. Comfy living room, functional kitchen with all the essentials. Even some coffee, tea, and basic herbs - which is super useful. The design is so nice. Big and comfortable terrave which we had a chance to make use of. Very friendly and helpful owner.

Showe area seems the only space which hasn't been renewed, which isn't bad, just a bit less functional and nice as the rest of the place.

Amazing view and very hospitable host - we wanted to do a bbq but realised all the shops are shut on Sunday. Our host offered us some burgers, buns and a disposable bbq! So generous!

Bathroom was a bit outdated albeit functional.

Smartly decorated apartments with plenty of space and a well equipped kitchen .. It's a remote location, but lovely and peaceful ( About 10 mins drive from the nearest small town with a shop .. another 10 mins to the closest restaurant )

A perfect spot to relax! Great plus: a direct bus to Tromso, no need to rent a car. Was perfect for a family with a toddler.

Amazing place! The host is very kind and very available and the place is just wonderful, heaven on Earth! I recommend without hesitation. The decoration is very cozy, welcoming, perfect for enjoying and feel like at home. Thank you again Jeanne

The place is simply amazing, the view! And the service is very good. The flat is very big and well equipped. The sauna and jacuzzi (additional cost) is a big plus.

We had an amazing time here making incredible memories. Espen was a great host who we loved chatting to, the halibut Espen sorted for us too was fantastic! The views, being so close to the sea and being able to see the northern lights from our balcony were all incredible. We had a northern lights tour booked from Tromso while we were there but the views we got from our balcony here were even better than on our tour, green and purple colours were spotted in the very bright lights. The walk along the coast is wonderful and during our stay we spotted sea eagles and dolphins amongst other wildlife. Buvik Sea Lodge is truly a magical place. The Lodge is well furnished and so comfortable. Comfy beds and all very clean!

Location was amazing with a view to sea and mountains. Great spot for Northern Lights. Very nice and comfortable quality accomodation. Friendly, flexible and forthcoming Daily Manager (Esben) and always available.
