Always love staying here with my husband and extended family. Great space for entertaining, and we love how secluded it is yet close to Whiteface etc.

Lovely cabin. 40 acre property gave the kids tons of space to explore. 6 minute drive to Whiteface was perfect! Would definitely book again!

We loved this house! By far one of our favorite rental houses in the ADK to this date! With 4 spacious bedrooms, 4 complementing bathrooms throughout the house and EXTREMELY SPACIOUS living area, kitchen, basement and front/back decks, our two families with kids had plenty of space for the whole week to get the relaxation we needed. Not to mention the house sits on a 41 acre heavily wooded property that really makes you feel like youre in the middle of nowhere! We did some hiking/exploring of the property also which was nice. The indoor fireplace, out door bonfire pit, hot tub, spacious deck, and basement gaming tables were all a part of our daily activities when we were not out on the hiking trails through the Wilmington/Lake Placid area. The kitchen had all the ameneties needed for coffee, cooking etc… Lastly even though this house feels like youre so far from everything else, Wilmington, Lake Placid and Keene were all towns we visited with a fairly short drive. Would definitely recommend this house to anyone looking for a large spacious log-style cabin in a remote and secluded area of the Northern section of the Adirondacks Park!

We had a great stay, the house was a great size for our 11 people, the house definitely needs a thorough cleaning though, Lots of sand and dust throughout. If you had barefeet, you always had something on your feet, we cleaned the house on 1st day and couldn’t believe how much we swept up. The house isn’t quiet by any means. You hear every movement, conversations. Besides those things it was a wonderful stay very accommodating, and the perfect relaxing vacation we needed.

The property was just as described. Our group of 12 had plenty of space to spread out. Arranging sleeping and bathrooms was a little tricky for 4 families, because one family used the upstairs bunk room and one of the downstairs baths. We only used about 1/2 acre of the 40+ acres, but there is a nice grassy yard which was perfect for our 4 and 7 year old to run around. The property is located within a 30-45 minute drive of multiple attractions. We were able to rent a pontoon boat for a day on Saranac lake, and hike a mountain trail up Baxter Mt, which was easy enough for our 4 yr old. Other things you should experience are driving up Whiteface, Lake Placid, Olympic attractions and of course fishing. A hidden gem that we never experienced in previous visits is the Wilmington Beach. It’s 10 minutes from this property. Be sure to check it out.

The location and home are beautiful. Our group saw a bear the first morning waking up out in the field. Kitchen worked well and is stocked with plenty of utensils. Im assuming the owner uses a 3rd party cleaning service as the place was dusty and sandy. The main living area had a large area rug that was rolling on edges and corners with with 4 toddlers in the house was difficult as they were tripping over it constantly. The house carries noise like crazy. Anywhere in the home you can hear one kid wake up and then the rest. Not the biggest gripe but was difficult sleeping if others were awake in the house. The biggest issue was how hot the house got on warm days. The main living area and kitchen was 94⁰ according the the thermostat. Luckily there were window units for the bedrooms, but the filters appeared to be never cleaned and we had to clean them just to use the units. To add to the heat of the house, the clothes dryer exhaust outlet was not hooked up and we found that out when that hallway was easily over 100⁰ while the dryer was running. We also fixed that by reconnecting the flex tube while on this vacation. The last issue was while the kids were playing with bubbles in the yard, one of them stumbled apon a pile of cigarette butts, which no parent would be thrilled about, so I had to pick up a pile of used cigarettes. I get no location is going to be perfect, but the cleanliness is to low.

This our 2nd year staying at this beautiful home! The house is well stocked, the yard is fantastic for kids to play in, and the location is beautiful!

Planned my husbands 50th guys getaway weekend - the host couldn’t have been better- always responding so quickly and never making me feel like I was a bother. I was very stressed planning a suprise trip, but everything about this house was a smooth interaction and the house was as amazing as the pictures! There was room for everyone, the house was very clean and the guys enjoyed the fire pit and hot tub. Thank you so much for making this and amazing milestone birthday for my husband!

This property has everything you and your family would need for a stay. The kitchen is especially great for cooking! We stayed over thanksgiving and everyone could find a quiet nook to relax in or we could gather together in the kitchen/living room.

Overall our stay here was great. The property is beautiful and the house was plenty big enough for us all. The kitchen is well stocked with everything we needed. The large porches were perfect to hang out on and the fire pit was perfect to relax next to. We had some trouble getting the tvs going but eventually figured it out. The hot tub which was one of the reasons we chose this house unfortunately was not working and we didn’t find out until we went to go use it.

Loved the house and would definitely stay again. There was nice a walking trail close to the house and we used the jacuzzi and fire pit a lot.

We were a family of 7 ranging from age 75 to 16. The secluded log cabin and outside property are outstanding. The kitchen appliances are all state of the art and kitchen is stocked well for those who plan to use the kitchen. We found the charcoal smoker/BBQ difficult to use as the barrel is very deep and charcoal must be placed too low to provide an actual hot BBQ environment. It took a very long time to grill burgers, sausages, steaks and shrimp on this grill, all of which usually grill quickly. We believe this grill would work best if used as a smoker and slow cooked for longer time. The yard is very well maintained which allowed us ample space for yard games. The recreational lower level was enjoyed by all using the ping ping and foosball tables as well as darts. Nights were too chilly in the 40s to try the hot tub so it went unused by us. We watched 4 deer leisurely eating on the property and were pleased there was firewood for the outside fire pit. While sitting around the fire pit surrounded by 8 Adirondack chairs we heard the howls of what sounded like coyotes or wolves in the distance. The dining room chairs are soiled and all of the seat springs are broken making seating uncomfortable. We felt the overall cleanliness of the kitchen counter, pans, oven, front deck furniture, screens, and all fans (on ceilings and floor models) needed a thorough deep cleaning as they were not up to par with what one would expect to find in these rentals. The AC in master bedroom rattled loudly and leaked on the rug. We identified these issues to the property manager who was very responsive and planned to pass the input to those concerned.. All and all, we enjoyed a very pleasant stay in this lovely property and plan to visit again.

This was a great house and we had a great stay! We wish that we knew for sure that there was a grill on the premises and the check in/ key and wifi were unclear as I got different information from different places, but we figured it out. We loved the fire pit and the hot tub and the property was close to Lake Placid but also private so it was perfect. Overall, we had a really great stay at this beautiful cabin.

Property was great! House was great! I wish there was air conditioning because we happened to be there on a very hot weekend. But the house was beautiful.

This is a beautiful, comfortable house. It's in a beautiful location and close to the high peaks. The host is very responsive. The only complaints we had are slow internet, top rack of dishwasher being broken, master bedroom mattress needs to be replaced, we could not find extra linens in any of the closets and the bathroom nearest the garage has a door that sticks and is very hard to open. But these are all minor inconveniences. We would definitely stay again

This was the perfect home base for our Adirondack adventure. The table tennis and foosball were great and kept the kids occupied in the rain. The hot tub and porch swing were perfect for relaxing and enjoying the peace and quiet. The kitchen was well equipped and we loved that the table had room for all eight of us. The property and surrounding areas are beautiful. We especially enjoyed the nature preserve right down the street.

This was a great getaway for the family. Only complaint was the master bedroom downstairs mattress is due to be replaced.

We had a great time staying in the woods. The property was private and beautiful. Sitting on the porch was a great way to wake up the morning. Having four full bathrooms was a GAME CHANGER! We had just about everything we needed for a great weekend. We stayed in summer, so heat was not needed and we were plenty comfortable. We loved our time in this ADK retreat!
