We stayed for the winter break and it was great! Easy on off access to the slopes, excellent house for a big group with a large bunk room. The pool and hot tub accommodations were perfect after a ski day. And Chet & Janice couldn't have been more gracious! Thank you!

We enjoyed staying at this fully stocked and perfectly located ski on ski off condo with a gang of adults and children. The condo is well appointed and has everything that is needed to enjoy a real ski trip experience. Would recommend this place to anyone.

Chet and Janice were amazing hosts and have solid advice for our stay. They accommodated for our arrival and departure times. The property is located in the ideal ski on / ski off spot at Sunday River. Plenty of room for groups and families. Would stay here every weekend if I could!

This was an amazing very well appointed home, amazing location and amazing owners. We rented primarily to ski and the ski in ski out proximity to the mountain and lifts allowed us to optimize our ski time and accommodate younger kids and older folks who needed to nap or didn’t want to ski all day. You can’t beat the convenience of the location. The 6 bed bunk room was great for the teens in our group. The owners offered us many tips to optimize our skiing enjoyment and honestly their kindness and enthusiasm for our experience was one of the nicest things about staying at this home.

Wonderful Ski getaway
We had a wonderful stay for a quick ski-getaway. I was a little concerned that the ski in/out access would be too advanced for my beginners, but it was very doable!
Chet was a fantastic host - very communicative and responsive, and the house was perfect for our family. Allowed everyone ample room to spread out, or all hang together. We will definitely be booking again!

Very clean host is great. Right on the Trail no need to drive. Plenty of fire wood.
The bad side was I wish they told us before that the pool and jacuzzi wasn’t open we were relying on those amenities for that price per night.

This is a very comfortable and beautiful place to stay and if you like to ski, you can’t beat it.
You can walk right out of your door and be on the slopes. Lots of beds for families with kids and kitchen is well set up. The warm pool and hot tub a short walk away is splendid. We’ll be back😊

Great spot on the mountain. Perfect for getting laps in before the crowds pick up. The house was great with a fully stocked kitchen of pots, pans, utensils, and anything else you could need to cook for a big group.

Spent 3 nights at this condo with our family of four and another family. Location can’t be beat and the condo was well equipped with everything we needed for our stay on the mountain. Chet and Janice were extremely responsive when I had questions prior to our arrival. We will definitely be back! Thanks for an amazing ski weekend!

Clean, well kept spacious home fully stocked with all supplies a family may need while vacationing. Owner was prompt and responsive to any concerns and even researched activities for my kids to do in the area! highly recommend.

COVID-19
Sunday River closed on the day that we were scheduled to arrive. We communicated with the owners (Chet and Janice Goon) of the condominium we had our reservation. We mutually agreed that it was in everyone's best interests for us to cancel our stay. We purchased insurance for our stay through your provider (CSA Travel Protection) but we have not received a response from CSA. We are hopeful we will receive a full refund.

Great condo!
The condo is clean, comfortable, and very convenient to the slopes. Everything worked including the outdoor grill on the deck. This one is set up with the eating area adjoined to the living room and fireplace so more socializing happens instead of TV which is nice. Great views from the windows too!

Perfect location
Our group of 8 chose The River for our annual ski trip and decided to go with ski-in/ski-out. We absolutely LOVED the location of this home and the added perk of the hot tub and sauna! We were steps away from some of the best trails on the mountain and came in for lunch and snacks without feeling as though you’re missing good skiing time. The home was comfortable and had plenty of storage for all of our gear, as well as a great couch that we could all easily fit on. Only thing that I would improve on is the cookware; there wasn’t a very big pan for us to cook for a group of our size so we had to cook in batches. Not a big deal at all, but would definitely help with large groups! Overall, we are already talking about coming back next year for a longer stay! Chet was super informative and very responsive; great host!

Beautiful townhouse in a wonderful location!
Chet was incredibly easy to work with and very flexible. The location was ideal for our two families (with 4 young children), as the adults could easily trade off skiing with a true ski on/ski off. The space was huge, clean and was stocked with anything one would need. Thank you, Chet for sharing your incredible space with us - we will be back!

Fantastic Place for a Family Ski Stay!
Our family rented Chet & Janice's wonderful Sunday River house for a February ski vacation and loved it! It was spacious and well laid out, had plenty of beds and was clean an neat.. and ON the mountain/ski in-ski out! Chet and Janice were great to work with. We would highly recommend it!

Perfect for our group. Excellent location. No surprises!
3 adult bedrooms on the top floor, 2 separate seating areas and the kitchen on the ground floor, then bunk beds, laundry, and another couch/tv area on the bottom floor. This was perfect for our group.
Plenty of wood for the fireplace. Kitchen had all the utilities we needed. The ski slope is right at the end of the driveway.
We had the pool and hot tub building all to ourselves. Don't know if we happened to time it well with an off weekend, but that was a wonderful bonus.
Spoke with Chet numerous times before arriving. Super easy to work with and very accommodating when it came to check-in and check-out times. If I go back to Sunday River with a similarly sized group this rental will be my first choice.

Great condo with an awesome slope side location
Three families stayed here over the long weekend in January. There was plenty of room for all of us and we all loved how convenient it was to walk about a minute and then be at the Tempest slope, with less than a minute to ski down to the lift. We also had fun using the outdoor pool and hot tub (which was about a 5 minute walk from the condo) and appreciated that the owners provided pool towels for our group to use. It was a pleasure dealing with Chet and Janice, who went out of their way to make us feel very welcome. We will definitely re-book for the next time we're at Sunday River.

Beautiful spacious condo with lovely views
We had a very pleasant stay at this large and comfortable condo. Short walk to skil trail, beautiful views of the mountains. Very clean and spacious with a well stocked kitchen for all your needs. The beds were comfy, even the bunkbeds were thick comfortable mattresses. Wood burning fireplace was cozy and made for nice ambiance. Owner Chet was attentive and helpful. Excellent choice for a ski weekend!
