We have visited Pacific Grove yearly for over three decades. The setting and wildlife are stunning, and PG's charm and simplicity set it apart from its neighbors. For us, returning to this property is perfect--steps to the shore and its walks, two blocks to "downtown", and the optimal size and amenities for one couple. The owner's attention to detail and care for her guests are noteworthy as well.

We escaped for a week from cold, dreary New England and found ourselves at the delightful Sea Foam Cottage in Pacific Grove! It was everything thing we needed...morning walks along the Pacific with crashing waves, flower lined pathways, short drives to all kinds of restaurants & shopping, outstanding historic & natural sites, BEACHES!!! And at the end of each day's adventures, was a cozy, comfortable cottage to give us a big warm & friendly hug! Thank You, Jill, for sharing your cottage with us...it was PERFECT!!!

The outside of the property is just as shown in photographs. The owner of the property was very good about relaying details for check in and unlocking the door. Upon entering, the rooms were tidy and well decorated. You enter through a small porch and into the living room. The bedroom is just beyond the living room and the kitchen is behind the bedroom. There were plenty of dishes, pots and pans in the unit. The kitchen is small but very functional. There is a washer/dryer in the kitchen if needed. Beyond the kitchen is another small porch that leads to the small backyard. This location is wonderful. Just steps away to Lovers Point and a walk towards the lighthouse. If you opt to go the other way, you can walk to Cannery Row, the Monterey Bay Aquarium, etc. The 17-mile drive, Pebble Beach and Carmel are just a short drive from Pacific Grove. Street parking was not a problem. This place is great for couples or singles looking to getaway to the quaint area of Pacific Grove.

My husband and I came here for a long weekend to celebrate his birthday. This cottage was just perfect with all the amenities of home. We didn’t cook, but there was everything you would need to make a meal in their cozy kitchen. We enjoyed coffee on the enclosed patio with a little peek of the ocean. A one minute walk out the door and your at Lovers Point, or less than a five minute walk to Lighthouse Avenue. Comfortable bed, very clean cottage, and plenty of hot water and the house heated up nicely. Wound come back 100%!

Cute, warm and cozy little cottage at Lovers Point. I've been renting the cute and quaint homes in this area for the past dozen or so years and this is one now high on my list to visit again.

This was perfect for us as an older couple who like to walk the streets of Pacific Grove, including the Municipal Golf Course. The front porch allows space to separate for zoom calls in nice setting, including a view of the bay. Older kitchen is quite functional and living space is comfortable. Parking on the street in front of residence was never a problem even on holiday in January.

This is a lovely small house on a quiet street close to the ocean. Only 7 min drive to Asilomar Beach. Comfortable bed and easy street parking. Loved the vintage stove. Would definitely stay again.

The cottage is very cute. It has everything you could need. It’s in the perfect location. Within walking distance of many great places. I will hopefully stay here again someday.

Location couldn’t be better! The cottage is charming and has everything you need. Also, it was immaculate. Saw lots of seals and the ocean and surroundings are absolutely breathtaking. Thanks also for the wine! Hope to come back.

We had a fantastic stay un this charming little beach house - perfect for visiting Pacific Grove and Monterey, as well as for activities in the area like horseback riding or exploring Carmel or Big Sur. We would love to be back one day

Very good overall experience. Responsive host, good communication. The house is comfortable, fully equipped, well-located. WiFi speed was over 200 mps, very unusual for a vacation rental. Parking is on the street, and usually available right in front of the house...downside it's a narrow one-way street, with a lot of construction going on within the block, so a fair amount of large trucks going by with inches to spare. Summing up, this is a property that's easy to recommend. Great location within a block of Ocean View Ave, and pedestrian trail that runs all the way to the Wharf.

Convenient to everything in the area without the traffic of Monterey. A charming cottage and neighborhood with everything you need.

The cottage was sparkling clean and comfortable. The check-in was easy. The kitchen was well equipped. There was always on street parking available. And the location was perfect for us. It is an easy 1 mile walk along the bike and pedestrian trail to the Monterey Bay Aquarium and Cannery Row, or the other direction along the shoreline to admire a sunset. We would love to return for another stay.

Cottage was perfect in every way! Walking distance to everything delightful.Host was Susie- on -the- spot! We would definitely return!

Forget Pebble Beach. Forget Monterey. Forget Carmel. This cottage in Pacific Grove is the best of all. Next to magnificent shore, beach, kayak/bike rentals. Short walk to ridiculously good restaurants at Lovers Point and ‘main street’. A mile stroll to the aquarium. You can see otters and seals from the shore. 17 Mile Drive, Point Lobos State Preserve (a must see) and Big Sur short drives away. The cottage itself is true to the pics/description. Completely quiet at night. And the host, Jill, was a pleasure to work with - we had cancellations in the Sierras due to road closures and she was able to accommodate an addition to our schedule. Can’t say enough about my wife’s and my experience.

The property was awesome...from the landscaping out front being inviting and the cleanliness inside. The place was fully equipped with everything we could think of needing while we were there. We cook our own food so loved working in the kitchen. Even the washer/dryer were super handy. Loved it!!

This is our second stay at this place. We like it because it is located close to shops/restaurants, where you can walk or drive there. Access to the coastal walkway is within a block. It's also a nice quiet neighborhood.

This cottage is exactly as pictured and described. Within walking distance to Lovers Point Park which is gorgeous both day and night. Easy to get around in Pacific Grove, great location for exploring local areas and taking a drive down Highway 1. The owners are prompt with email response and very gracious.

Everything about the Sea Foam Cottage was perfect for our 30th anniversary trip to Pacific Grove, where we spent our honeymoon. Communication with Jill was easy and she was very thoughtful to give us contact info for just in case generator needs due to storms (luckily didn't need it) I would recommend this property to anyone and everyone. Easy to walk to everywhere, including the beautiful ocean. Can't wait to return!

Great location about 1 block from the ocean. Walking and bike trails nearby. Very comfortable home. Loved the sun porch.

The property was amazing and super close to everything! When we arrived it seemed as though the house (likely due to it being the day before thanksgiving) had been forgotten to be cleaned by house keepers. We contacted Jill and she was very accommodating and made sure everything was cleaned for us as soon as possible. She was overall very responsive, lovely and overall a great host. The house was super well equipped for a full thanksgiving meal. And of course a lovely walk afterwards. We certainly look forward to coming to Pacific Grove and saying here again!
