I can’t stress how amazing this stay was. Pierangelo communicated days before on What’s app and gave me his contact as well as Oronzino. Oronzino who manages the property met us at the property and showed us everything. He was more than hospitable he was simply amazing. He gave us farm fresh eggs everyday, fresh vegetables, sun dried tomatoes and much more. The property is heaven. The rooms are great and the in ground pool was meticulously cleaned everyday by Oronzino. He was very helpful at every point and communicated daily. We used this as a launching point to travel locally in Puglia and it was great. You would need a car here but we rented a 9 person van from Brindisi airport and that was critical. Highly suggest this villa as there are so many great things. We had adults, teens and a toddler and everyone loved it. Book this before the secret gets out!! Stayed for a week in June. Great villa and facilities and very helpful owner and host. Great outdoor space and pool. Good base for exploring Puglia with nice towns and beaches within 45 minutes. Oronzino, the villa manager was outstanding.

Well equipped old farm house. Great number of spacious and comfortable bedrooms, lovely pool. Grounds very safe for children.

We spent a whole week with a group of friends at Masseria Mattiani. We had a great time there. The villa had everything what we were looking for. On top, Ononziano made our time even better there, providing us with fresh vegetables, fruits and red wine everyday. He was so guest friendly and was spreading so much positive vibes. The property includes also fig trees and a wineyard, making the overall experience even better.

Everything about the property was exactly as shown in Vrbo - the owner was very attentive and available and his staff were fully available- the pool, the house ant the accommodations( bedrooms , ensuites , eating areas all top-notch

Great villa. We were a party of 7 and all loved the villa. Very comfortable rooms and bedS. Pool really lovely. Lots of swimming by everyone. Easy to access Lecce, Otranto, Gallipoli, Brindisi, Alborebello, Ostuni and Monopoli - all 30-75 minutes by car. The property is on a farm and the farm manager, Oranzino, was really helpful. Endless figs, apricots and tomatoes from the garden were a delight.

It was an amazing time in the villa, Oronzino was helping us with every request. It was really paradise. The rooms are big and perfectly equipped with AC's. The bathrooms have a beautiful architecture and spacious. Sitting in the morning under the pergola and watching the pool was our favourite. Local groceries were very close to the house (5mins by car). Thank you and we will be back.

Had a wonderful week at Masseria Mattiani in a group of six adults. The villa is very well equipped and loved the outdoor kitchen. The pool was big and the garden huge with lots of fruit trees. Thank you Piereangelo and Oronzino x

We spent 2 weeks at Matteria Massiani in August, as an extended family of grandparents, parents and children. We booked ore Covid and were uncertain whether the trip would be cancelled. Pierangelo was very helpful, allowing a delay in second payment until the position became clearer and giving us updates on the situation in Puglia. We were let down by our rental vehicle company only weeks before the holiday but Pierangelo suggested a local family run business from whom we took a minibus hire ( and who also did airport transfers) Borelli Autos were excellent, cost 30% less than airport hire and no hastle over insurance etc. The house is wonderful. Tastefully renovated, very spacious with high, beautiful exposed brick ceilings. Lots of original features. Bedrooms are large and all beds and bedding high quality. Good air con. Well stocked kitchen. One of the highlights is the outside kitchen under the canopy where we did all our cooking, with two long tables each seating 8 where we ate each day. Good wi - fi. The grounds are extensive and with a large pool with comfortable loungers for all. The pool is single depth, great for children. Oronzino, the farmer who has his farmhouse elsewhere ( but separate) on the land was great. He met us on arrival, showed us around and was on hand for any issues. He brought us fruits, eggs from his chickens, fantastic onions and the Most delicious tomatoes. The children loved him showing them the hens, picking fabulous figs and collecting other items. On one occasion Oronzino invited us into his house where he was roasting tomatoes in his wood fired over, which we peeled, mixing with herbs, garlic and Local olive oil. Wonderful. Campi Salentina the local Town has a number of supermarkets and restaurants. The menus are slightly limited but nonetheless satisfying. We made trips to Lecce and Bridisi, the latter providing the best food of seafood and pasta on the harbour front. We ventured to beaches but they are very busy and a little unnerving due to Covid and social distancing but the trick is to arrive early and be prepared to leave after lunch when it gets very busy. Overall we had a wonderful time and thoroughly recommend Masseria Mattiani.

We had a wonderful week in Masseria Mattiani. The house is very beautifully renovated and decorated with a fantastic garden and pool. We really enjoyed the climate controlled indoors at night and the outdoor kitchen (I don’t think we used the indoor kitchen at all) Everything inside is perfect, from bedrooms to bathrooms. All your needs is taken care of. The photos you see in the presentation is a good representation and in reality it is even better. The owner Mr Biancho was a great host and the caretaker Mr Oronzino treated is to local cuisine the first morning. He also showed us where to pick tomatoes, vegetables and eggs just outside witch was really nice. A big grill is at your disposal and Oronzino also supplied wood and coal for us. Our children loved the pool, they used it nonstop. I give my biggest recommendations for this house and the hosts.

Splendide maison où se mêlent vieilles pierres et modernité. Un jardin arboré magnifique avec sa piscine. Et cerise sur le gâteau, une grande terrasse couverte avec une belle cuisine d été bien équipée avec barbecue, four neuf et lave vaisselle. Très bon accueil à notre arrivée, avec en prime des légumes du jardin et des oeufs. Je recommande !!!

Ottima posizione a soli 20 minuti dalle più belle spiagge di porto cesareo. Ma quel che più colpisce è la disposizione degli spazi studiati per fare trascorrere in tutta tranquillità e comodità la vacanza di 4 famiglie. Posso incantevole! Le fotografie non rendono assolutamente l’idea. Troveret due frigoriferi, forno a microonde, barbecue, ferro da stiro , folletto e lavatrice. Per non parlare dei fichi e dei pomodori raccolti direttamente dall’orto. Ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo. Unica nota negativa è che lascerete lì un pezzo del vostro cuore Grazie

L'accueil chaleureux de notre hôte qui nous a gâté avec des légumes et fruits produits par l'immense verger de la Masseria reste le plus beau souvenir de notre séjour dans les Pouilles. La Masseria est a 20 mn de la mer ionienne et 20mn de la mer adriatique. Lecce est toute proche. La Masseria est bien équipée ; nous y avons sejourne en famille a 12. Il ne manque qu'un lave vaisselle pour que ce soit parfait !! Belle région d'Italie avec des gens très chaleureux !

Siamo 10 amici di Lodi. È difficile in poche righe descrivere la vacanza alla Masseria Mattiani. Ottimo punto di partenza per visitare il Salento. Ambienti tipici, belli, puliti, spaziosi. In aperta campagna ma anche vicino al paese fornito di tutto. Il sig Oronzino che ci ha accolto non ci ha fatto mancare nulla. Frutta e verdura che lui stesso coltiva e perfino uova fresche direttamente dal pollaio. Proprietario e custode hanno contribuito a farci trascorrere una settimana che ci resterà nel cuore. Pertanto un grazie al sig Bianco e mille grazie al fantastico Oronzino. Direi che abbiamo trascorso una settimana da WOW!!!!!!!! I lodigiani

We fell in love with Masseria Mattiani the moment we set foot inside the front door. Such an enchanting atmosphere thanks to the tasteful restoration of this beautifully furnished country house. Peace, comfort, privacy and tranquility all combined to make this the perfect place for us to relax. We thoroughly enjoyed the simple pleasures of having breakfast, lunch and dinner on the the terrace, taking afternoon walks in the olive grove or around the orchard and vegetable plots, lingering by the pond and sipping wine as we watched the sun go down. And with full permission of the very kind owner, Pierangelo, we helped ourselves to some of the organic fruit and vegetables. Truly tasty and delicious! The warm welcome, hospitality and friendliness of the local manager, Oronzino, exceeded our expectations. Nothing was too much trouble for him as he made sure we settled in and had everything we needed, including lots of useful information about restaurants, supermarkets, shops and places of interest to visit within easy reach.

Siamo un gruppo di tre famiglie di Padova il cui unico rimpianto è aver fatto solo una settimana di vacanza. All'inizio eravamo scettici, abbiamo trovato la masseria tramite questo sito, le foto la ritraevano bellissima e il prezzo davvero competitivo....e...siamo rimasti... le foto sono realistiche al 100% e il posto è proprio così...STUPENDO..spazioso pulito in un posto tranquillo dove puoi stare tranquillamente in compagnia fuori all'aperto senza dare fastidio a nessuno e tuttavia in cinque minuti di auto andare in centro a rifornirsi di qualsiasi cosa. La casa ti dà un senso di tranquillità impagabile e l'esterno ha un frutteto e un orto che non ti fa mancare nulla. Un ultimo ringraziamento va al signor Oronzino (che si occupa dell'orto) e famiglia per l'accoglienza impareggiabile e il signor Bianco il titolare gentilissimo e disponibile. Andateci non c'è da pentirsi assolutamente!!!

Siamo tre famiglie di amici di Padova. All' inizio eravamo scettici, abbiamo trovato questa masseria su internet foto bellissime prezzo competitivo...poi siamo arrivati e..da restare a bocca aperta. Le foto rispecchiano la bellezza della casa al 100% spaziosa pulita in una posizione perfetta per vedere spiagge notevoli e a cinque minuti dal centro rifornito di tutto. Casa che da un senso di pace e tranquillità e un giardino e un orto che non ti fa mancare nulla. E un grazie particolare a Oronzino che gestisce l'orto persona deliziosa e a Pierangelo proprietario disponibile e gentilissimo. Per chiudere un posto che merita!!!!

Masseria Mattiani, il paradiso! Location meravigliosa, nel mezzo della campagna salentina! Posto strategico, ideale per rilassarsi e staccare dalla routine quotidiana! Masseria stupenda, dotata di ogni comfort e pulizia impeccabile. Después de 8 horas de viaje en coche desde Roma, llegar a la Masseria Mattiani es llegar al paraiso. La propiedad es magnífica, tanto que las fotos no acaban de hacerle justicia. Bien restaurada, decorada con gusto y muy comoda, tanto las habitaciones como los espacios comunes. Además, tener 4 cuartos de baño para las ocho personas que éramos fue un auténtico lujo. Pero hay más: los exteriores, colmados de huertos y árboles de cuyos frutos disfrutamos casi diáriamente, le dan una autenticidad mucho más allá de un mero alojamiento turístico. Y finalmente, cómo no, resaltar en MAYÚSCULAS la amabilidad, solicitud, humanidad y generosidad de Oronzino, persona de honestidad antigua y encargado de atender la Masseria durante nuestra estancia y que siempre ha tenido un momento para nosotros.La casa está bien situada, en un lugar tranquilo pero cerca de todos los servicios y a 20 km de la playa y 15 km de la bellísima Lecce. A recomendar el restaurante Baccanera en Campi Salentina y en Lecce Alle Due Corti y All'Ombra del Barocco. A recomendar sin reservas. Dopo 8 ore di auto da Roma, raggiungere la Masseria Mattiani è quello di raggiungere il paradiso. La proprietà è magnifica, in modo che le foto non riescono a rendere giustizia. Ben ristrutturato, arredato con gusto e molto confortevoli, entrambe le camere e le aree comuni. Inoltre, avere 4 bagni per l'otto persone che eramo era un vero lusso. Ma c'è di più: quello esterno, pieno di frutteti e alberi i cui frutti abbiamo goduto quasi ogni giorno, danno una autenticità al di là di una semplice struttura turistica. E, infine, naturalmente, evidenziare la estraordinaria gentilezza, l'applicazione, l'umanità e generosità d'Oronzino, uomo d'onestà antica, e responsabile dell Masseria durante il nostro soggiorno e che aveva sempre un momento per noi. La Masseria si trova in un luogo tranquillo ma vicino a tutti i servizi é a 20 km dalla spiaggia é a 15 km dalla bellissima Lecce. Qualche ristoranti consigliati Baccanera a Campi Salentina e a Lecce Alle Due Corti e All'Ombra dek Barocco. Riccomando il soggiorno nella Masseria senza riserva alcuna.

By the courtesy of the owners, we could freely use the fruits and vegetables from the beautiful and huge garden. The main thing is that here you feel yourself like visiting the best friends. The owner signor Pierangelo and the manager signor Oronzino are ready to help in every way. There was no one question or request that they would not help to solve. Thanks to them, we had no problems with car rental, transfers and so on. Location of Masseria is very convenient if you have a car. Close to a couple of supermarkets. In 20 minutes there is a hypermarket. We drove to the beaches on the Adriatic and the Ionian Sea. The nearest beach is 30 minutes away. Unfortunately, we did not have enough time to visit all the attractions that were planned. So, I can strongly recommend the house to groups of tourists.
