The location and amenities are perfect. The kitchen is the most well equipped that we’ve ever had (we’ve been bringing our family to GH for 20 years) & having a large back yard makes it perfect for all our family and friends to gather. Having access to a large garage is another perk….giving us a safe place to keep all our bikes. Terry and “Bird” are very accommodating.

We spent 10 days entertaining family and friends during the Coast Guard Festival for our 40th anniversary. The location is perfect, just one block from downtown. The home is lovely, very accurately described, lots of great amenities. Sleeps 14 easily. We had great, responsive communication with host. Perfect place for small children.

The location of the house is great - walk 2 blocks to downtown and 5 minute drive to the state park beach. 10 minute drive to north beach which is less crowded and nicer water usually. The house is stocked with most requirements (cooking, towels) and extras like croquet, ping pong and bocci ball plus a nice fire pit. I would stay here again and the host is very nice and helpful - a pleasure.

Terry is a wonderful host!
The house has everything you need to feel at home for the week.Comfortable inside and clean. Great yard for kids and fire pit for adults at night. Grand Haven has so much to offer a family of 14.

House in a great location. Able to walk to beach, to boardwalk and downtown. Everything about house as described and Terry an excellent host.

We had a great week in Grand Haven and Terry was beyond wonderful. The house is lovely (I'm still thinking of those stained glass windows!) and full of Victorian charm. We loved the location and enjoyed walking to get fresh bread every day Great Harvest Bread Co was open.

We have been renting places in GH for 18 years and this was absolutely the best equipped rental. It lacked nothing; beach towels, beach chairs, plenty of paper products including two ply toilet paper, hand soap etc. Terry is very accommodating and easy to communicate with. Locatin is perfect.

It had accomodations to sleep about 10 adults comfortably. Extra places for young children. The porch "bedroom" and upstairs bathroom needs better blinds for privacy but otherwise a great summer beach town rental right next to the shops and restaurants. It was nice to have all the beach stuff we need supplied by the owner so we didn't have to pack ours in our cars.

perfectly located two blocks from downtown, a short walk to the river, to Pickle ball courts and a pleasant walk along Grand River to Lake Michigan and the pier. The house is charming with many options for sleeping, a large downstairs living room and dinning room and adequate cooking space. We loved it. The backyard was great as well.

Walk to everything! Amazing back yard. Tons of needed items such as beach chairs and towels, toys for the kids, bedding extras. Terry is awesome as well as Bird that helps take care of this home. Never want to stay anywhere else. Thanks Tery!

We had a lovely stay at this in-town Victorian home. Just a 3 minute walk to all the shops, restaurants and the musical fountain.

We missed that the two units were not connected internally, however it worked out okay for our family group.

This house was perfect for our multigenerational needs and is in a good location for all of the downtown GH activity - restaurants (Morningstar Cafe, Toasted Pickle, Oddside Ales), walks to the pier, Musical Fountain, shopping etc. It was sparkling clean and had plenty of beach towels, beach chairs, and paper products for your stay. (FYI The steps to the upstairs apartment are quite steep and not appropriate for toddlers) Terry was great to communicate with. We enjoyed our time at the Grand Victorian!

Great experience and great communications. We love all the neighbors and have enjoyed having fun with them for many years. We hope to be able to rent again next year during that week.

We had a wonderful stay and were able to come together with family to remember my mother, who passed last fall. This house made for the perfect setting to join together and reflect on good times. Terry was extremely easy to communicate with and we really enjoyed our time.

Convenient location to downtown and short driving distances to other points of interest. Well equipped kitchen, linens, and paper goods such as paper towel, napkins, and toilet paper. Available laundry a plus.

Overall, a great stay -- house was located a block from downtown, yet still quiet. Two floors don't connect, FYI. Very clean and well stocked, and Terry was super helpful and responsive. Having just one bathroom on each floor was limiting but manageable. Nice garage, upper deck, and yard too. Would have liked better (Teflon) pots and pans; ones provided burned easily and were difficult to clean. But overall a great place to stay!
