Had a group of golfers come in town for our 52nd outing and everyone was blown away by the place. Owner was very helpful.

Everything was wonderful! We had such a great time. There is sooo much space for activities and your comfort. The attention to details were fantastic! Every room was unique and all of the guests were beyond pleased. Our host Pete, became a beloved family member 😉. He made our experience unforgettable. His generous and thoughtful kindness will not be forgotten. Pete is responsive and attentive to all needs.We are already planning on returning. Medley Manor has become an annual tradition.

First rented Dec. 2019. Great time then. Rented Jan. 2023. Even better with all the improvements. Plenty of room for gathering with family. Plenty of things to do whether staying at manor or going into Peoria.

We booked at Melody Manor and a great time was enjoyed by all. Pete meet us at the door and gave us a wonderful tour and information sharing time. The photos are a great replica of the rooms, each one so unique and a theme for all to enjoy!! We never left the Manor until check out because there was so much for our 20 grandchildren to enjoy and do while the parents enjoyed our family time together and played board games and cards and ate way to much. The kitchen was well stocked with kitchen wares and the complimentary snack bar was a hit! We would recommend this VRBO to any family or large group, you wont be disappointed!!

The responsiveness and respect of the proprietor (Pete) was exemplary. The space is fit out with all of the details that you need to come and enjoy your stay. Terrific surprises were the complimentary snack bar, seasonal decorations, and extensive attention to detail in the rooms. No question or ask was discounted and Pete was very thorough, kind, and welcoming to us and our family. You will not be disappointed to stay at Medley Manor! Thank you Pete!

Medley Manor allowed us a halfway point for family to meet up for a weekend. We had 32 people and never felt like we were crowded in the space. The game room kept the kids entertained (and some adults) and the main dining area had room for all of us. Pete was great to work with. It was enjoyed by all and the family plans to return annually.

Great for large groups! There are actually 14 bedrooms with locked doors. Each room is themed and a different size to accommodate many families! It was perfect for our 12u softball team and their families!

We paid a lot of money to stay here for a wedding, two days prior to check in we were informed we did not get the whole house. There are 3 bedrooms that count as multiple rooms. There are locks on the doors of each room and we were not given codes/ given incorrect codes and got locked out of one room. Called the owner and his property manager to no avail. Minor things wrong with the house but nothing that wasn't manageable, however the lower level is very musty, so if you have allergies beware! Overall a decent stay.

The house looks deceptively small from the outside. It is huge, with lots of beds and a big diner for hanging out in big groups, or in smaller groups in the booths, as preferred. There are two refrigerators and a dishwasher. For some reason, the oven takes a long time to warm up. It works though. The kitchen is stocked with plenty of cutlery and utensils for those interested in cooking. No need to pack pillows, bedding or towels. Make sure with Pete beforehand how many bedrooms you will be getting. That depends on your group size.

Medley Manor provided a great place for our family of 18 to gather and spend time together. The game room was a big hit! We loved the very large gathering space for meals together and room to play games. The kitchen was well stocked for us to prepare and serve up meals. Everyone enjoyed the variety of themed rooms as well. Also appreciated having plenty of bathrooms.

We took our children and grandchildren for a few days of family time. My brother and his wife, children and grandchildren came for two evening visits. When everyone was there, we had 17 adults and 12 children. There was plenty of space for everyone and we had a great time. We have stayed in many VRBOs. One thing I always hate is when there's 1roll of single ply toilet paper in each bathroom. All the bathrooms were stocked with lots of quality paper. The mattresses are bedding were also first rate. We were very happy with our experience.

Our family completely enjoyed our stay at Groveland. It has lots to do in the house for many people. Good gathering area for food and fun. Very responsive to needs. The house is still a work in progress but what they have done is amazing. I would love to come back again and see more of what they will add. Highly recommended 😁

This is a fantastic, unique great house for parties small or large. Pete has thought of everything with this place. You could seriously vacation just by staying on the property. If you want to check out the rest of the city, great food and bars are close. We will be back. Awesome house.

If you have a large group and need space to spread out, this is the place! It's huge! Lots of thoughtful creativity went into the decoration of the bedrooms, and the main dining area (the 50's diner) has charm and lots and lots of room for either a 50 person meeting or breaking into smaller groups. What I liked best was that, if you are part of a large family get-together like ours, there's enough room to get away from the crowd for some peace and quiet. Wi-Fi worked great, and we had no problems with the fixtures. But the best part of this place is your host, Pete. Talk about responsive! If you have any issues, he's on it in a jiffy. And he was easily able to accommodate our shifting needs (Covid wreaked havoc with our attendee list, but Pete rolled with the punches). He simply could not have been a better, more thoughtful host. If I had to find a criticism, it is that not all of the bedrooms are finished yet. Not a problem for our group; we needed 9 bedrooms, and there were a few extra, finished bedrooms that we didn't use. But if your group actually needed 16 bedrooms, I'd suggest contacting Pete first. We would definitely stay again if in the area.

The is a corn hole game, ping pong table, 2 foosball tables, a small pool table, a shuffleboard table, air hockey, basketball shooting, and 4 arcade games. We all loved it! Pete, the owner, is very responsive and supplied k-cups, cereal, milk, coffee for regular coffee maker among other things. If we have to occasion, we would definitely book Medley Manor again. No one was disappointed and our grandson did not want to leave!!!

Enough space to eat at tables and have a counter where food could be put out. Kitchen was equipped with almost everything that we needed. Second fridge in the back hallway was invaluable for beverages and additional food. Rooms were very unique and everyone needed a tour so they could witness them for themselves! Pete was responsive when we needed him for empty garbage cans and fixing 2 heaters. Tons of great comments from everyone in our family about what a great space it was for our group!!

The property is spacious and certainly good for large groups. The kitchen could do with a dishwasher and the fridge ice maker did not work. The game room could do with some renewed equipment (e.g. new ping-pong racquets and balls). One of the rooms had a musty smell. Though we had a good time overall, we had a problem with the host who we felt tried to take advantage of us: This property is composed of a total of 16 bedrooms, for a total of 50+ beds. Since we were obviously not going to use all beds and bedrooms, the person in charge of the check-in asked us to pick certain rooms for us to use during our stay. Other rooms remained locked with a door keypad. At the checkout walkthrough, the host, who wasn’t present at the check-in, claimed that we used more beds than what we initially booked, which isn’t true. For that sole reason, he decided to charge us an extra amount corresponding to 2 extra rooms at for 3 nights. There was no mention of potential overcharge at the initial walkthrough for any bed that would have been touched (not even slept in). We felt we were taken advantage of. We understand the inconvenience of having to change and clean bed linens, so we offered the owner to settle this by paying an extra-night for each bedroom. The owner refused and terminated the conversation.

This was an amazing stay. There was room for everybody and all the rooms has such detail and uniqueness that everybody loved it and could find a room they loved. Pete was great. He gave us a great tour, provided great accomodates and snacks. His attention to detail in every room was fantastic. Probably couldnt have a cooler place to stay and entertain.
