The view was beautiful, the location was great. With some basic maintenance this would be an excellent place to stay. We would stay here again and hope this property is available when we want to return. The beds in 2 of the rooms were very comfortable but will need replaced in the near future. The twin beds were not very comfortable. Biggest complaint was the air conditioning couldn’t be turned down below 75 or it would freeze up. With the humidity a few nights was uncomfortable sleeping. This is something that definitely needs fixed. The shower doors in the master bathroom need replaced/repaired they would not open or close properly. The stool in the master bathroom needs reset it was wobbly. The window in the master bedroom is cracked and just has tape over the cracks. Several of the chairs on the outside deck are cracked and unsafe to sit in. Some of the boards need replaced on the upper deck and gutters need to be added to the roof. The area under the house could be a great place to hang out if it was cleaned up. We were told by another visitor that this whole complex is for sale and that is the reason for the lack of maintenance.

An older property but adequate and comfortable. Nice location with access to the water. Huge yard, quiet neighborhood...just needs a Iittle tlc.

Beautiful view of the ocean. Loved the porch/deck. Great location. The house was the perfect size for the four of us. Overall, a wonderful stay and we would definitely return!

Good value for an active adult family of 5. It was our first time in the Keys. We did not hang at the property. We ventured out to see the sites daily. Responsive customer service.

We got there about dark and were a bit concerned initially. the lower level was kind of cluttered and the lighting wasnt very good. Once we found the stairs and the motion activated lights and got inside, everything was better. The queen bed needs a new mattress and it was COLD in the house that first night with no available extra bedding. The towels were sufficient but need to be upgraded. Although we had 6 people there was not enough flatware for 6. We never found any pot holders either. The rest of the kitchen was great; the oven and gas range worked well (although it did set off the fire alarm with first use). The grill wasn't workable; there was no propane tank and we weren't sure if the hoses and connectors would work so we improvised and used charcoal. A few more easy chairs (at least enough seating for 6) would be ideal. BUT it worked out well. The view is amazing and it is quiet and peaceful. All in all, the issues above were minor and all 6 of us enjoyed our time here immensely.

Great place to kick back. We really enjoyed our stay, and having a ramp and a place to dock our boat was a plus!

The property is an incredible location and concept (parking, pools, docks, etc) but overall the entire space could use some TLC. I believe the property is for sale so maybe it will be turned around into something incredible! Communication with the owner was great! I read the reviews beforehand so I knew there were some concerns about the need for TLC. This was easy to overlook due to the ease of parking a trailer, having deep water dockage and the incredible views! From the standpoint on cleanliness, the was disappointing. There’s a cleaning fee and even an envelope left to leave a tip but I was blown away with how dirty the unit was. There was trash left downstairs and the entire house could use a good sweep and mop. The sheets and towels were clean at least! Regardless, we had a great time! The property has so much potential and I’d be willing to see what’s been done next year to come back.

House was centrally located allowing us to go anywhere we wanted easily. Slept 6 people comfortably. 4 Adults and 2 teenagers. Pool was easily accessible. Dock fishing was outstanding caught a variety of fishes (shark, barracuda and many others) .Great view from deck.

It was fun but you need to spray for bugs they were pretty bad

Need a better grill. Might need to spray for bugs. We had tiny bugs get into our donuts, and all of us were bit while being on the balcony. Other than that our stay was good.

The location was great, however the outside of the cottage looked like they were getting ready for a rummage sale with furniture and old cabinets lying around. The door frame was eaten up with termite damage,the door did not seal. We were swarmed by termites to the point you could not sit on the couch in the evening. Exhaust fan in bathroom did not work,outside deck railing was secured with tie straps. The VRBO manager offered us a refund if we wanted to move, but said they didn't have anything available. We had no choice but to stay. Canceling a vacation for 6 people was not an option. We also had deposits with a guide for 5 days of fishing.

Wow! Right on the water with a fantastic view. Nice and private except the neighbors took it upon themselves to take the lawn chairs provided for our property and use them. Pictures of property are accurate. There were no lights in the carport and that was unacceptable and one of the guests said they saw a roach in the tub. My guests also said the Wi-Fi didn’t work. It’s also time for some minor maintenance but my family and I enjoyed our stay. Lastly, the entrance to the property needs traffic control measures; very hazardous.

Place is so clean and organized

It was a very clean unit. If you are looking for a over the top house, it might not be for you. The bed in the master was great. There is a lot of stairs, so if you have a problem with stair this might not work for you. But they have ground level also. The pool was very nice, I hope to be back next year.

It was awesome

My family and I had a wonderful stay at this property. The house was perfect and loved the location between Marathon and Key West. Kids were able to enjoy the pool and was lovely to sit out on the dock and watch the water. Great local restaurants also on Cudjoe! Great vacation!!

Quiet location, very clean interior with a good amount of space. About a half hour to Key West.

Enjoyed the deck overlooking the shore, good snorkeling, paddle boarding and kayaking, right from the property. Nearby bike trail was lovely for walking and biking; the dock from which we watched both sunrises and sunsets was an unexpected favorite. Pool was perfect for a dip and sunning on the deck while enjoying sea breeze. Key West was an easy and fun day trip. Had a great time! We all are looking forward to coming again.

This home worked perfectly for our family, making it possible for us to explore up and down the keys with a central starting point each day. Everything is very well described in the description. We loved it!

Aside from some minor electrical problems and a bit of dirt here and there, this was a good place to stay for the price. It is well situated between Key West and Marathon for convenient access to activities. Recommended.

We really enjoyed our stay at Cudjoe Key. The unit was very clean and kitchen was quite nice. Deck overlooking the ocean provided great views. We really liked this location since it provided easy access to Key West, but at the same time you could get away from the congestion with a short drive. Would definitely stay again.

This was just what we needed. The pictures really do make the place look smaller than it actually is. We worried that the main living area would be tight for 6 adults, but it was roomy, especially with the great outdoor space. Having a washer and dryer in the cottage was a welcome surprise. Other guests had mentioned a lack of kitchen supplies, so we brought our own cookie sheet, kitchen towels, and potholders. The only other thing that we should have brought with us was a deep glass baking dish. Of course, this all depends on how much cooking you plan on doing. They had pots and pans, colander, bowls, and a pretty good selection of knives. We also brought our own beach towels (none provided at cottage). The views were amazing and the stay was relaxing.

We chose this VRBO because of proximity to Key West(about 30 min drive) and ocean front (no beach) location. House and beds were Well Worn but clean. If inexpensive location is your main thing this place fits the bill!

My friends and I really enjoyed this rental. It was close to Key West and fairly easy to find. The rooms accommodated all 5 of us comfortably. The beds were nice and we enjoyed watching the sunset near the water. Appreciate the laundry as well. Recommend this place for groups of 5 or less.

This property was perfect for my friends and I to spend the weekend. We wanted to reunite for Fantasy Fest weekend and so glad we selected this space. The view was so pretty and the space was very clean. One bathroom did have plumbing issues but overall amazing stay.

Perfect location and an amazing house right on the beach

Second time staying in one of Susan’s places and it was just amazing! We stayed in House B this time - me, my husband and three friends. The location is fabulous! Lots of privacy, gorgeous view, two pools and short drive into Key West. The house was plenty big enough for all of us so we didn’t feel crammed together. Can’t wait to plan our next trip!
