This was the most comfortable, well-equipped and peaceful vacation rental we’ve ever stayed at. And Laurie was by far the best host! We enjoyed every minute of our time there. The beds were comfy, the setting serene, and the location- removed from the crowds but easy to get to everything - was perfect. We look forward to our next visit!

The house was extremely clean and well maintained. The property owner was incredibly helpful and took the time to tell us about the nearby attractions and food. Overall the time at the rental was perfect! We will definitely stay here again and recommend to our friends.

The home was like home away from home. Abosolutely beautiful home, amenitites were spot on. Extremely clean and inviting. Did not want to leave.Laurie was fabulous to work with. Defintely will rent again. An amazing hostess, with excellent open communication. Made us feel at home and even had a nice apple pie awaiting when we arrived.

We loved every minute of our stay! The house was beautiful (and spotless), with everything we love-fully stocked kitchen, fluffy towels, comfortable beds and great water pressure. The property was gorgeous with the fall foliage! We hiked a bit in the adjoining 2000 acres, and just enjoyed the fire pit and covered porch. The lake is across the street, and we were able to kayak-stunning!
Laurie was easy to contact with any questions or concerns, and gave great recommendations for things to do and scenic drives! One caveat-some attractions near Lake Winnipesaukee are open only on the weekends in October, but the beautiful trails are always open!
Highly recommend this property -Laurie really goes above and beyond to be welcoming. Fabulous host!

This lovely home is very spacious and has a well equipped kitchen! The furnishings are nice and suited our family of 6 easily. It’s very bright and is set within the trees with good lawn space with a great fire pit. The basement has a ping pong table and foosball table that we’re lots of fun.
Laurie is amazing-answers all questions in a very timely way and left us a beautiful pie! Enjoy!

Great house and great host!
What a great spot! This is a fantastic home with big, open common space and comfortable bedrooms. We stayed here for a busy wedding weekend in nearby Wolfeboro, and we regret we didn’t have more time here to enjoy the house and beautiful Merrymeeting Lake! The house was immaculate and well stocked with everything you could need. Laurie is a wonderful host, and even left us a pie! We would definitely visit again but would make sure we had more time to enjoy this great place.

Relaxing & Serene
Beautiful home across the street from the cleanest, purest lake in New Hampshire. Beautifully appointed. Full lake access and use of a dock and kayaks- one for all of us! Listened to the loons and nature, immersed in a book. Enjoyed the deck. Plenty of places to hike and explore. We will def be back!! Thank You!

Great Family Place!
We had a wonderful fun filled family Thanksgiving at this beautiful and peaceful house! Our host Laurie was personable and welcoming and just a gem!
The open floor plan allows everyone to be with each other! From talking to feasting! We enjoyed a 5 hour game of International Monopoly - some strategic games of chess and a abundance of card games!
We enjoyed the glow of several bonfires - with great laughs and labations! With easy access to the lower level for a couple of rounds of ping pong and foos ball!
This is a great space with a great host and we’ll definitely be back next year!

Great place for a reunion with old friends
4 friends all age 70 plus enjoyed a fabulous stay at the lake. It’s such a comfortable home. Beautifully furnished, well-equipped kitchen, exceptionally clean. Laurie is friendly and helpful. Though it rained for most of our time there, we did take a short hike up to the ridge and had beautiful views. Highly recommend! We will return.

This VBRO home deserves 10 stars! It had everything you needed plus….great beds, modern appliances, comfortable eating/sitting area etc.
A wrap around porch to relax & look at the scenery. A wonderful place to enjoy life.

Beautiful house in great spot!
The house is beautiful and has a lot to offer, inside/ out. The owner was attentive and super friendly. I highly recommend you to stay here because is not only beautiful, there’s lots of outdoors activists in the area that will relax your mind.

(nice touch) The spacious house has a open floor plan. We found it exceptionally clean, well equipped and organized. Newer construction, top quality appliances throughout and EVERYTHING that we needed was on there.
Coffee Pot with filters, quality pots, pans & utensils, I could go on and on. The home has a nice layout, the lake was beautiful, incredibly clear and peaceful. My only complaint was that our stay was too short! Highly recommended!

Perfect place for a nice retreat!
I have stayed at a bunch of rental properties and this rental tops my list. The host really treats you like family and pays a lot of attention to the smaller details that so often get overlooked, which really helped make this an incredible renting experience.
The house was incredibly clean. There are plenty of things for you to do such as relax on the dock by the water, kayak, play board games, with plenty of outdoor activity equipment as well.
I would highly recommend this rental (and host!) for anyone looking for a nice relaxing place to retreat to with friends or family.

A really great house & owner!
Our short stay was absolutely wonderful. Laurie was an excellent communicator and the labeling of everything in this wonderful house made our stay so easy! The boys...4 of them including a 1 yr old enjoyed the games and fishing, and the open concept helped us to know where they were at all times. The railings were also great for the little one learning to negotiate stairs~ Thank you Laurie!

Wonderful stay at the lake.
We are thrilled with our experience at this property. Laurie was very informative and welcoming when we arrived. The location is nicely settled in the woods within walking distance to the lake. It was serenely quiet all the time, with exception to the local birds, and the loons that sang on the lake each morning and evening.
The house is fully stocked with everything that you need and had a wonderful open concept. They lighting was perfect! Even though it was hot for a few days, the house cooled off beautifully each evening.
Staying here was a wonderful respite from the city life that we live. We look forward to having another adventure in the woods again.
