Nice property/ gardens, the place isn’t worth the price. Very run down inside. It’s a shame, lovely location

Pictures make the cottage look like it is very secluded while in fact it is actually just across the driveway from the main house, did find some cobwebs around light fixtures in the bedroom roof area etc. Cleaning could use more attention to detail, however, the cottage is beautiful and well equipped I was a lovely weekend.

We stayed for 2 days as had a friends wedding to go to. The place was very comfortable. We didn’t get much use of the great facilities like bbq and spa, but it was very enjoyable as close to town centre for coffee. One recommendation would be a coffee pod machine with a long life milk in fridge for the quick coffee in morning if arrived late without getting to do that iga shop

This was chosen because of the stunning garden space. Very relaxing with many places to sit and relax. Enjoy the frog chorus at night. The second bedroom is on the mezzanine floor via a spiral staircase. Very comfortable accommodation.

It's a lovely chalet with a beautifully landscaped yard, the spa was perfect for evenings after our hikes and it's so close to the town centre you can walk there. Will definitely look forward to visiting again. Rita and Michael are absolute gems to share this serene getaway with the world. They're so kind and generous, we felt warmly welcomed and enjoyed every minute.

This delightful hideaway is located just outside the main area of Denmark and as is situated in a rural retreat surrounded by natural gardens supplimented by the owners extensive tree nursery . There is also a wonderful outdoor spa... five stars thank you Michael and Rita.

This accommodation was exactly what we needed. It is well appointed with a new kitchen and everything you could possibly need. The gardens are lovely and the verandas provide great outdoor living. We loved the spa! The location is perfect... out of town but close enough to duck quickly to the shops. Rita and Michael gave us the privacy we needed but responded very quickly and kindly to any messages we sent. We will definitely visit again.

This is our second stay and we once again enjoyed the privacy and spacious feeling of the cottage and the lovely outdoor decks and spa. The cottage is set in well maintained gardens, has a pond and surrounding big trees yet is only a few minutes from the middle of the town. We recommend the cottage to others.

The property is really lovely. The hot tub is a highlight. The gardens are glorious. Lovely verandah area that's well protected from wind. If you're planning on cooking, take everything as there's salt and pepper and nothing else (not a complaint, just a heads-up). The only down side of a lovely stay was the owners asked for additional $ when we arrived as we were 2 people using two rooms, despite the listing saying it's 2 rooms that sleep 4. Apparently an issue with the site but I note the listing has not been updated to make that clear so clarify pricing prior to booking if using two rooms to avoid a shock.

The house is very roomy and comfortable. The place was clean and well looked after. We used the spa each night and that was most enjoyable. The gardens are fabulous and is separated from the main house on the property providing good privacy. The location is very convenient as it is a short drive from Denmark town. Excellent outside areas in the garden for eating and just relaxing. excellent accommodation.

Very well situated close enough to walk into Denmark but slightly outsiide in a beautiful quiet setting. Lovely hosts and very relaxing place to spend a few days and explore the surrounds.

We really enjoyed our stay at Rita and Michael's Hillview house. We would have given Hillview 4 1/2 stars if the 'review' process had allowed it. The main bedroom looks out through a lovely living area with towering ceiling and picture windows, then beyond to the verandah. The clear roll-down blinds around the verandah meant we were warm enough to eat breakfast outside very morning. We had a pretty Blue Fairy Wren fly onto the verandah each day and flutter around us while we had our afternoon tea. The garden around the house is filled with deciduous trees that were coming into bloom while we were there. At the end of the day, even with the outside temperature being around 15 degrees, we relaxed in the heated spa on the verandah - bliss!

My husband and I had an absolutely beautiful time at Hillview Chalet. It is a very welcoming, clean and peaceful environment with beautiful gardens. Close to town and everywhere we wanted to visit but far enough out to enjoy the quiet and sounds of nature. Would definitely recommend.

We had an enjoyable stay at Hillview Chalet recently, it was not far from town and very relaxing with nice decks and outdoor space to unwind. The log fire was welcome as it was cold in the evenings. We had a generous supply of towels and even robes for our use. Their was only basic t.v available, but we hired dvd's from town to watch on the 0video supplied. A nice central place for us to sightsee. Thanks Rita and Michael for letting us stay.

We loved our stay here with the peach and quiet and proximity to the town and sight seeing.

Would totally recommend Hillview. From the open log fire to the large heated outdoor spa on the deck. 2 mins drive from the town center and close to a lot of local wineries and restaurants. Comfy bed. Well equipped kitchen . Didn't want for anything..

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Hillview Chalet Denmark. The property is surrounded by a beautiful private garden and pond that regularly received visits from the local wildlife. The house itself was very warm, comfortable and cosy and fully equipped with everything that we needed and the outdoor spa made our stay there much more relaxing. A huge thanks to Rita and Michael for sharing this place. We will definitely be back to stay some day soon.

Set is the most picturesque gardens the open plan home has a wonderful big verandah that ultimately the the place for living. The spa is wonderful and all this is just 5 minutes from Bridgetown. We are coming back!

We loved Hillview Chalet. We'd been looking forward to our stay and we weren't disappointed. On our arrival we found the wood fire raging and the outdoor spa ready to go. What a treat! In the morning we woke to the sound of birds in beautiful gardens surrounding the chalet. Thank you Rita and Michael for letting us stay in your little piece of paradise.

Absolutely loved our stay at Hillview Chalet. Sadly we only had 2 nights would have loved more. The spa outside even in the winter weather was fab really made us feel like we were on holiday! A warm welcome from Rita and the fire on was the perfect start to denmark. Thanks so much!

A beautiful and private spot. Thoroughly enjoyed the spa, we were lucky enough to have had lovely weather.... however the enclosed verandah means we would have had plenty of space to move. Will definitely go back!

Hillview Cottage was large and airy. Fully equiped kitchen handy for self catering. We did not utilise the spa but Michael did have it ready for use on our arrival. The spa and fireplace would be very inviting on a wintery night. 2 minor negatives. BBQ needs a good clean. Only bottom draw of dishwasher worked and that was not properly. Most dishes needed washing by hand post dishwasher cleanse.
