The property is centrally located and all the bars and restaurants are a 5-10 minute walk away. The pool at the property is amazing and it’s a nice way to end your day!

Nada

It was a good location; the room was very clean, had safety box, had friendly and efficient staff, and had a very good breakfast. Good value.

-friendly and efficient stuff. We booked a transfer and rented a scooter with them. Both was perfect. Also we spent one more night as originally planned.
-nice view from the balcony in the third floor.
-Breakfast was nice. Lots of fruits to choose from and severall western and asian options available as well.
-pool area was quiet
-The Hotel is located next to 2 Bars. It can get a bit loud until 2am...but thats nothing that the Hotel can change so nothing to complain about here.
-The water quality of the Pool could be a bit better. It is still good enough for a quick swim although.

Great location, nice comfortable room and amazing views from the balcony.
The breakfast wasn’t amazing but it wasn’t bad and it had lots of fresh fruit

Everything is great about Jasmine.
Minh ( her name is spelt differently I think) t reception was always very friendly & helpful.
The rooms are comfortable with amazing views of the surrounding mountains - especially at sunset.
Try to get a mountain view room if possible.
The pool was clean & fresh - not too much chlorine.
Breakfast was more than adequate - fresh fruit & a few different options.
There is a little bit of noise if you're staying in a room facing toward the street from a club close by but it didn't bother my sleep personally.
I uploaded more pictures of the room & view from the balcony instead of the bathroom & lobby.
10/10 from me! 😊👍👍👍
There are no complaints from me.

Everything was fine, in the town centre, but in a quiet side street. Efficient and helpful receptionist, this is a family run hotel, so they are all investing in the businesses reputation. I had a patio front and rear, an ideal place to chill out.
Everything good, I even stayed an extra night.

Location was good. Staff were very good at providing advice on things to do and transport. We were planning on taking the train to Vientiane they arranged for a shared van that was less expensive and faster.

Good location. Easy short walking distance to everything. Rate was ok but u get what u pay for.
There's a bar across the street that plays loud music every night till 1.30am. Guy at frontdesk wasn't helpful either. I had to walk up 3 stairs upon check-in & I had to carry my own luggage. I'm no prima dona but I'm an older guy. He also didnt explain to me how to use the shower. You have to switch on a special switch. So first night, I was forced to take a super quick cold shower. I thought it was one of those cheap places where there's no hot water. The girl doing the morning shift (Min?) at frontdesk is very nice & helpful though. Also, no safety box in the room.

The view from the balcony was fantastic. The mountains and Vang Vieng rooftops.
The pool was badly maintained. The breakfast was poor. The staff for one exception was uninterested in doing their job. The day we left everybody was smiling and greeting us. Maybe they was happy to get rid of us. 😆

Very friendly staff, tours bookable and motorbikes rentable directly via the hotel. The location is top, directly at the bar street.
In the night it can get a bit loud because of the bars and because the doors doesn't really have a isolation.

Good location, can walk anywhere. Nice view from room balcony. clean comfortable
The lights on the balcony didn't work. We told the staff but nothing was resolved.

Really lovely staff and good breakfast. Clean and tidy rooms and was a good location. We were able to rent a bike from the reception which was really useful
Nothing

The location was great , rooms were big and clean and comfortable beds.
Not sure if this happens everyday but we stayed for 3 nights at the weekend and got woken up every morning around 7am to what we think was a prayer service right next door which went on for about 3 hours and they were using loud microphones so it was impossible to sleep in, it also happened every night as well.

The hotel has a great location with a great view near the river. I was traveling with a child and he loved the pool. The manager Sam was absolutely amazing. I had a lot of questions and he kindly helped me every single time. He even printed dinosaur drawings for my son to color. I’ve been traveling a while and I can honestly say that a good manager is worth more than all the other stuff a hotel can offer. We booked lovely trips and Sam was able to customize them to our needs. Would recommend.
We had some issues with the room. After telling Sam about it, he did everything in his power to accommodate and help us resolve the issue as best as he could. He went out of his way and we came to a solution where all parties were happy about. That’s what great managers do ;)! Jasmine hotel should be very lucky with a manager like him.

The room was comfortable and clean, beautiful view from the 4th floor (no elevator). The staff, specially Sam, is really nice and helpful.
The room is not sound proof, we stayed for 4 nights and the music from the bars/people shouting on the streets around went until 3am, not the hotel’s fault but should be considered if you’re light sleeper and go there during the weekend specially

When I arrived at the hotel, I was pleasently greeted by the receptionist/manager Sam who immediately made me feel welcome and at home. Throughout my stay, he was exceptionally friendly, helpful, and enthusiastic. Probably the most kind and professional receptionist/hotel manager I've met during my multiple journeys around Southeast Asia.
Room was very spacious, modern, comfortable, and exceptionally clean.
Hotel is located right in the towns center with plenty of bars, stores and restaurants just around the corner. It's not noisy at night, though.
Despite the current burning season in Thailand and Laos, the hotel pool was kept clean and it was enjoyable to cool off in it.
Room was cleaned everyday and I'd receive free coffee and two bottles of water.
Great shower, bed was super comfortable.
Perfect! 10/10

Honestly, there is nothing more that can be added to the list of what has already been said and praised so many times. Everything is accurate! The staff, the location, the breakfast and the amenities, the mountain view, all attractions are within reach. The service for booking tickets or renting a scooter, the cleanliness, the neighborhood, WiFi and the bed, everything is okay to a great pleasure. It’s a place with no fuzz and if it wasn’t for the pool I think the place is more of a two star venue considering the very big difference in 4 or a 3 star hotel in Laos and specially when comparing other 3 star places. But still a good value for money. And as always: you get what you paid for.
But ten there is the downside. I was scammed three weeks before arrival: I was requested by a well-presented text message by the hotel on WhatsApp to pay for the hotel. The reason was that B.com could not verify my payment details and therefor B.com was canceling the booking. The link that was added, was an active payment procedure that involved all my bank account details that I only had to click and approve. None of these details could have been known other than by the hotel or B.com.
No one confirmed the payment and after contacting the hotel I found out that I was scammed. B.com directed me to the hotel and vice versa after contacting B.com four times!
The first excuse of the hotel management was that I should not have paid because the hotel never charges before arrival. But the Booking.com confirmation tells the opposite. It’s stated twice in the payment information: You will be charged a prepayment of the total price at any time. The property accepts Visa and Mastercard.
Then there was the WhatsApp excuse that the only number the hotel uses is +856 20 91 681 993. How is a guest supposed to know that this is a WhatsApp number and not a regular telephone number?
Then there was the “your credit card details are safe with me” excuse. Well, obviously they’re not. Otherwise this would not have happened. It turned out that this isn’t the first time and the hotel’s B.com Intranet account is hacked. The hotel could have avoided my scamming on forehand by a simple automated welcome message after the booking and telling that this can happen. That would have avoided everything and no hard feelings!
In short: the hotel management takes no responsibility for any loss or what so ever and leaves it to be your own problem between you and B.com.
I still believe that the hotel or B.com should compensate the full amount and the additional very high telephone cost with my bank and credit card company,

Great location, close to everything in the city, great size room and breakfast was exceptional
No Hot Water, Reception just played the blame game instead of just getting it fixed.

Great location, on a quiet road close to budget restaurants for sunset watching, mini markets. Third and fourth floor have great views of the mountains. (Lower floors look onto wall of a neighbouring building). Staff were really helpful, arranged good motorbike rental, extension of dates and onward transport. Pool is clean and has good sun most of the day.
Room had balcony at front and rear, good airflow. Bed comfortable (not too hard).
nothing to dislike.

Good location, easy walk everywhere in town. Pool was very clean. Sam at reception was very helpful. extended our 1 night to 4. Gorgeous view from 4th floor balcony. we could sit out no problem.
No hot water in shower every day we were here. excessive noise at night from bar across the street until 3 am.

The Jasmine is a nice hotel very central in Vang Vieng.
Initially stay on the ground floor but then extended to 2 additional nights on the top floor, the 4th. If you can, get a room on the top as the view is very nice, the room also is much better, more spacious, with 2 balconies, front and back for sunrise and sunset views.
facility is adequate, room is clean and moderately sized, bathroom with decent hot water and nice partition for shower. There is a safe for safekeeping especially if participating in water adventures.
breakfast is very good with Asian and Western choices, plenty of fruits.
staff is very helpful with advice and bookings.
This is an outstanding value and thus popular, book the top floor.
ground floor room not so great, adequate but some odor from drain/sewer in bathroom.
