Vi var 8 voksne og 3 barn. Stedet passet oss perfekt, høy standard, god plass inne og ute og med kort avstand til gamle maleriske byer og kulturelle severdigheter. Bassenget ble en hit for både store og små. Meget service innstilt og hyggelig vertskap.

Our family has been doing trips for years and This IS THE BEST...we now have 4 grandkids (2-12) and 13 adults and EVERYONE loved it..something for all ages...plenty of wonderful rooms, an amazing one of a kind swimming pool that defies description it is so unique..All kids and adults were in it all the time, night and day !!!Easy to travel to other hill towns, Orvieto,fantastic food (of course, it's Italy!!), friendly people,and so relaxing...from this Unique hill top house you get the most beautiful and relaxing views of the farmland in the valley as well as far away hills...we ALL came away rejuvenated, refreshed, and wanting to go back...for travel--A1 is close so easy to travel to Florence or Rome, points in between and afar, and great train service...the ones were respectful and were there if we needed them and not when we didn't...Franco and Aukse designed and spent 7 loving years building this unique home and the interior design has something for the eye Everywhere you look...A GREAT VACATION AND RELAXING HOUSE!! YOU MUST GO !!!

Ho trascorso 3 giorni INDIMENTICABILI con i miei amici in questa splendida Villa; Le foto rendono meno della situazione reale, in quanto non mostrano i particolari presenti nella villa. I proprietari sono sempre disponibili e gentili, e devo dire che hanno veramente pensato a tutto e nulla è stato lasciato al caso! Consiglio a famiglie e coppie di amici ... Non ve ne pentirete!!!

Our family of 11 people (3 generations, ages 3 to 64) stayed at this villa for 9 days in late March and early April 2018. We had big plans to do lots of sightseeing, but when we saw the villa, we knew that we would also spend lots of time at home. The property is beautiful---the villa, the garden and grounds, the views, the pool and spa area---they are all fantastic. Everything is well-designed, and all your needs are anticipated. The villa is beautifully crafted with lots of attention to detail; we had plenty of room for our family. The living areas are large and very comfortable. The dining room table is huge, and since it is four square tables, it is easily reconfigured. We used it square-shaped, which meant we could all be together during meals. We cooked and ate together every day. One day it was warm enough to eat on the terrace, outside, and we would recommend this too. Of special note, each of the bathrooms is exceptional, with tubs and basins of unique design. And in addition to the bathrooms in each bedroom, there are three other bathrooms elsewhere in the house (one in the pool area). The kitchen is well-stocked with dishes, glasses, small and large appliances, serving platters, bakeware, bowls, utensils, pots/pans, tablecloths. Everything was in good condition and worked as it should. The owners welcomed our young children and provided small-sized furniture for them—a nice touch. There is a TV and stereo, but we did not use them, so we cannot comment. The WIFI worked as expected. The garden and grounds are nicely planted and well maintained. It was early spring, so we missed the full splendor of the gardens. We sat outside most evenings to watch the sunset. One of the biggest attractions of this villa is the pool and spa area. For a family with kids, this was perfect. The pool and spa are lovely; the facilities are well maintained. There are plenty of towels, and there is a shower/ toilet conveniently in the pool enclosure area. The adults loved the sauna/steam room. Plus, anytime we had a question, we had a quick response. We were truly well taken care of. We recommend this villa very highly.

Consigliatissimo, Per il secondo anno consecutivo abbiamo deciso di trascorrere le festività natalizie presso “Colle Dell’Asinello” la splendida villa è un angolo di paradiso incantevole dove potersi rilassare in tutta riservatezza , un’oasi di pace accompagnati dalla gentilezza del Sig . Franco e della Sig.ra Aukse. Ci ritorneremo ancora.

Hello, During September 2017, we visited the Villa with a group of 14. The Villa was large enough to accommodate all of us and still provide privet time. The location is isolate enough not far from Guardea centre (small lovely village). The property itself is very large with many things to do there – even when just to find spot to relax. We also recommend to use the cocking service inside the house (ask the owner). The heated swimming pool and spa area is amazing build in smart way that the weather don’t tamper when you would like to stay there. And last but not least Franco and Aukse will take care for your stay – thank you both for making our Vacation. Regards Eyal

dopo aver visto alcune foto su internet siamo andati di persona a vedere la villa per capire se fosse davvero così bella. dal vivo era anche meglio! ce ne siamo innamorati e l'abbiamo affittata per tre giorni a giugno insieme ad altri amici. una sera abbiamo anche organizzato una festa con circa 40 persone. la villa è meravigliosa, curata in ogni più piccolo dettaglio, interamente arredata con mobili e sculture in legno appositamemte realizzati. dispone di 5 stanze doppie (con possibilità, in alcune, di aggiungere un terzo letto) una più bella dell'altra con sculture e arredi in legno, letto a baldacchino, quasi tutte con camino e con accesso sia dall'interno che dall'esterno della villa. inoltre c'è una zona living con un lettino singolo ed un divano letto. ogni stanza ha il bagno privato ed anche i bagni sono tutti diversi e con dettagli unici (uno con vasca in legno, uno con jacuzzi, uno con doccia cromoterapia....). il giardino esterno è bellissimo, curatissimo, molto grande e circonda completamente la villa nascondendo piccole meraviglie come l amaca nel bosco, la terrazza con il tavolo sul retro, ed alcuni punti panoramici.... il panorama, in effetti toglie il fiato; la villa è isolata' , sulla cima di un colle con vista sui calanchi di guardea e su un'ansa del tevere che sembra un laghetto pittoresco; nessuna costruzione intorno; privacy totale; centinaia di farfalle e uccellini; alcuni asinelli e 2 daini abitano il terreno adiacente e non disdegnano di affacciarsi in giardino per salutare gli ospiti e rimediare qualcosa da mangiare. a completare il tutto c'è un area spa con una piscina riscaldata piuttosto grande chiusa da vetrate su tre lati che possono essere aperte nella bella stagione. in una porzione della piscina è stata realizzata una vasca idromassaggio molto grande (6/8 persone); c'è anche il bagno turco, doccia emozionale ed un bagno con doccia e spogliatoio. si tratta di un posto unico, stupendo e molto particolare che è difficile descrivere a parole. se siete interessati consiglio di recarsi sul posto per vederlo dal vivo perchè le foto, anche se di buona qualità, non gli rendono giustizia. un ringraziamento speciale va sicuramente ai proprietari franco e aukse che sono stati gentilissimi e disponibili a venire incontro a tutte le nostre esigenze, anche quelle legate alla festa che abbiamo organizzato avvalendoci di un catering esterno. concludendo... posto meraviglioso, consigliatissimo. complimenti a franco e aukse!

Una meravigliosa esperienza che sarà difficile dimenticare o ripetere altrove , unica nel suo genere , appena arrivi capisci che non avrai necessità di nessuna altra cosa se non rimanere incantata per tutto il tuo soggiorno ! Non si può perdere una simile esperienza raccontarla non renderà mai l'idea della meraviglia che si prova ! Gentilissimi i proprietari , funzionale e lussuosa gode di ogni confort possibile ! Non la dimenticherò !

Casa fantastica curata nei minimi dettagli. Piscina e zona SPA degna di un hotel di lusso. I costi sono elevati ma dividendosi la cifra il soggiorno vale pienamente il prezzo. Complimenti

Rimarrete piacevolmente sorpresi da questa villa di nuova costruzione,extra lusso , pulita e ricca di confort , in grado di soddisfare ogni tipo di necessità nella più totale privacy! I proprietari sono estremamente educati e disponibili . Ottimo anche per i bimbi , all'esterno la reggia è circondata da distese di terreno curatissimo , dove si trovano daini , pecore e asini al di là della recinzione . Il nostro Leonardo si è divertito tanto nel dare pezzetti di pane in particolare ad un asinello estremamente docile . La piscina immensa con acqua calda riscaldata a 30 gradi con vasca idromassggio annessa a 34 gradi , un vero paradiso in terra ! La spa offre doccia emozionale con aroma terapia e sauna ! Insomma il top. Tutto con accesso diretto dal gran salone , dotato anche di caminetto a legna . 5 camere da letto , curate nel dettaglio, con tanto di bagno e vasca annessa . Torneremo sicuramente molto presto , la consigliamo vivamente a tutti !!!!

The bedrooms are decorating with real style, the beds are incredibly comfortable and the fabulous air conditioning means that you remain at the perfect temperature. The kitchen and dinning area are really well equipped and you want for nothing. The lounge is so relaxing and complete with a sound system that you can plug your music player into and decide if you want your music to be heard in the lounge, garden or pool ....or indeed all three. The pool and spa area are wonderful. The steam room is brilliant along with the herbal shower and the pool and hot tub are beautiful and because they are inside there is never a moment that you can't use the pool. The doors around the pool open up so you get the impression of being outside even though technically you're not. Now onto the most amazing part of this villa .....the setting. The gardens are so well maintained it makes the perfect setting for al fresco dinning , and then there's the view.....and boy what a wonderful view! I just sat there for ages taking everything in, mountains, a distant volcano, lakes, gorgeous houses it is simply priceless. The nearest village Guardea is gorgeous and has everything you could possibly need, I enjoyed going around all the little food shops. The openers are always winderful so helpful and kind. As you can tell we loved this place, so much so that I will definitely be going back. The perfect setting for the perfect family holiday and a wonderful place to make new memories LOVE, LOVE, LOVE!

It is with great pleasure that I write a review for the lovely Franco and Aukse about their fabulous Villa of Fables! It has been our first family holiday and I can not fault it. We loved everything from the amazing covered pool and jacuzzi, to exploring the beautiful garden and talking to the donkey. The surrounding views are stunning and the layout of the villa is thoughtful and imaginative. Franco and Aukse were so helpful. On hand to answer any questions at any time. We booked the villa for the last week off April with 8 adults and 6 children. We had a wonderfull time and everone enjoyed all aspects of the villa, swimmingpool and the spacious garden. Everything was just perfect!!! We want to thank Franco & Aukse for the great holiday!
