This cabin turned out to be awesome. It was clean, had everything we needed including a sweet set to make s’mores. My self and family had a great time and it as so convenient to downtown. The owners were great!!!

Everything was clean and in order and the location was beautiful! I enjoyed all the nice touches like the fire pit, and s’mores materials the owners left. Also it was very quiet at night so we had no issues trying to sleep due to outside noise. I had seen some comments that the hot tub took a while to heat but it was already warm when we arrived so it didn’t take any time to get a bit warmer for us. We loved our stay and would gladly book again if we are in the area.

Enjoyed our stay and visit with family. Property was accurately described. Not far from Biltmore, restaurants and shopping.

Nice property

Came to spend a girls weekend in Asheville to catch up. Nice, clean and good amenities. A little out of the way from actual downtown, but leaves you with a peaceful evening if you want to be away from the huddle and bussle. We all had a good time and would definitely consider staying again if we ever came back. Thanks for hosting! :)

Overall it was not bad. But there were many little things that we noticed. The exterior doors did not close without using the deadbolt. The bedrooms did not have locks. The neighbors were pretty close. The faucets felt very cheap and creaky. No ice maker, but had trays. The dryer and iron did not work. The bathtub drain plug was broken and nasty. The well water had sediment. The hot tub took over 24 hours to fully heat up. The view was not as good as we expected considering the price and the pictures in the listing. The GPS was complicated.

We had a great vacation there. The cabin was cozy and clean. Beautiful location and views. Very close to the attractions we wanted to see. Downtown Asheville was wonderful and the Biltmore was spectacular.

Our family enjoyed this quick get-a-way the week after Christmas.

The location of this cabin was fantastic, just minutes from west Asheville and yet nestled in the woods. The hot tub took a full day to heat up, so be sure to check the temp as soon as you arrive! The cabin has signs of wear and tear — an exposed screw in the bathroom wall, a very squeaky dryer, signs of mice under the bathroom sink — but it met out family’s need for a crash pad for a weekend of hiking and exploring Asheville.

The cabin was clean and cosey. There is a charcoal grill and a hot tub although we used neither, no time this trip. Cabin seems to be made for a family unit. Master bedroom had Queen bed and its private bathroom. Two other bedrooms had one with double bed and other had two single beds. Beds slept well. Other cabins were far enough away as to not feel like they were right under you.

Convenient location. Well appointed, pet friendly cabin. Hot tub could use better cleaning between guests. Check-in information needs updated to clarify which cabin number and correct lock code.

Property was small but house was relatively new and perfect for our group. Only complaint was I got the wrong door lock combination and only way to get owner's phone number was through the VRBO app. VRBO Chat was useless. But once able to get inside, we had a great visit.

The property is close to the Biltmore, Winter Lights and great places to eat. We wil definitely stay here again.

Overall it was a cute place. A few things they can improve on is, I had sent a question to the owner before we got there with no response back. The directions were wrong it said we should turn left but it should have said right to get to the road that the place was at. The air return in the laundry room was full of dust. The master only had a used 1/2 roll of toilet paper under the sink and 1 on the holder, we needed to get a roll from hall bathroom which depleted their supply.

Thank you to Sherry and Barry for opening their home to us and our dogs for the month. We had an amazing time in the Asheville area, and they were great hosts. The house was 20-30 minutes from everywhere we wanted to go - downtown Asheville, airport, Biltmore Estate, Grove Park Inn, etc., etc. There were restaurants, grocery stores, and other necessities nearby, and the neighborhood was great. We loved the mountain views, the nights on the porch, the walks through the neighborhood, and all of the wildlife. It wasn't luxurious, but it met all of our needs and we would highly recommend it for a family or small group of friends. And the wifi was fast, even when we had multiple devices going. No slowdowns and no issues connecting to the office. Thanks again!

Cabin was accurately a double wide trailer! Thin walls , not really clean, had to perform too many cleaning duties. Trailer needs a deep cleaning. Over charged for three week days. Will not recommend this site.

Loved the location but the floor needed swept better. Floor had dirt that stuck to your feet. And I’m glad it was pet friendly but again the cleaning crew did not do a through job cleaning floors. There was Long blond pet hair on the floor and on the drawer to the oven.

We had a wonderful stay at Hickory Haven. We can’t wait to go back. The location was great for our son’s baseball tournament and we had a lovely time. Just perfect

The cabin is everything it is advertised to be. The location was perfect and everything in the area is accessible with a short drive. Would stay there again.

Great spot that’s just a short drive to downtown Asheville. Tucked away nicely but close enough to stores for groceries, etc. Cute cabin, very quiet and clean!

Unit was a little worn and needed some TLC. Outlet sticking out, blinds broken, walls scuffed, etc. Photos likely taken when unit was new. Mountain View slightly obscured by trees. Convenient to attractions. Close to horse farm. Quiet. Clean.

This property was perfect for us. Close to attractions and necessities, but far enough out to feel like you were far away from the hustle of the city. Thank you so much for sharing your space with us.

Great cabin for a fun girls weekend. Plenty of space, clean, kitchen had everything you need and we were 15 minutes from everything. I would definitely stay here again!
