We loved the deck that overlooks the vineyard. We love the stars at night. Very cozy and yet spacious house.

We loved staying here. For the most part pretty quiet. Tastefully decorated inside. Bed wasn't too comfortable. I think small touches added would have made it perfect. There were no tissues. It would have been great to have a blender. Dead flowers in vase outside. More towels for those of us who stayed several days. We would stay here again. Lovely to sit on the deck overlooking the vineyard.

Wanting to celebrate our anniversary at a quaint little cottage get away for 2 weeknights. We were notified the cottage was ready 2 hours in advance. Since we were originally told check in wasn't until 4pm, we planned our 3 hour drive from home accordingly & arrived at 3:45pm. To our dismay, the weeds around the property were 2 to 3 feet high, & we could not park where we were told there was parking. The weeds also grew around the base of the stairs that lead to the entrance. All the slip strips on the stairs are curling & peeling off. After 3 attempts, we finally made it thru the coded entrance. The view off the back deck was very nice of the vineyards! Unfortunately, there was green moss on the back deck. The kitchen was minus a few cooking utensils, such as a spatula or large spoons, and there was no space to really cook, just "heat things up". The coffee pot you couldn't use safely since the handle slipped off. The knob that controlled the heater was also broken. Only 1 of the 3 bulbs in the kitchen ceiling light worked! The shower could only be used putting on full throttle, & SUPER sensitive to the right temperature. The bed was a twin/ double NOT a Queen size bed. We did take our shoes off as requested & opened the bathroom window when showering. VERY disappointed for the price that we payed! I wish there was some sort of reimbursement, since we payed in full & in advance! Sorry to say, we will never return to the Melody Cottage. We checked out promptly at 10am.

Beautiful views in a tiny but classy cottage. Close to wine tasting, a charming little town and Rio Nido Roadhouse.

The property was just as described. This was a little further of a drive to the wineries we were visiting. Easy to check-in and communication was great. The only drawback is the bed is not comfortable.

It felt like this property was thrown together. The number of the property was on a mailbox hidden by trash containers so there was some difficulty finding it. Glad you posted a picture. The non skid pads on the steps were curling up and in need of replacement. Miniblinds were very dusty and dirty. Faucets were installed backwards in the kitchen so when we turned to hot, cold came out. The room was cleaned and with fragrant supplies and sheets laundered in scented soap which we were highly sensitive to. So, I gave this an average rating. The lock to the front door did not unlock consistently. We had to keep trying to get it to work. We have the same kind of lock at home, so we knew how to use it properly. If all other Vacasa properties are like this one, we will find lodging elsewhere.

VRBO first rejected my positive review because I was too specific about its procimity - though the picture in th posting is the agrarian vista I described - funny. Sonoma vineyards are close and so is the ocean. Don't let the location keep you from hitting Napa, too. Bodega Bay is worth the trip - where the Alfred Hitchcock Birds movie. Guerneville is cloe enough for a hike - about 1.5 miles - take the 1922 foot bridge over the Russian River. A romantic spot with a great view.

Ideal place for a quick getaway close to home. The space was perfect for our needs, and food and groceries were just a mile away. We hope to be back again.

The stay was fantastic, the view was wonderful and the surrounding area is nestled in a cute little town. I highly recommend staying here for a getaway by yourself or with a loved one.

Everything was great. No complaints and i will definitely consider staying here again.

This place was so charming. Highlights: well-stocked kitchen, cozy front patio with curtains to close for privacy from neighbors, excellent location/easy access to downtown area, and the back deck overlooking the vineyard. Incredibly peaceful and quiet. We did not hear the neighbors. The place was clean, though there were cobwebs in the bathroom and kitchen window so we were sure when the last time someone stayed in the unit. Not a big deal and didn't detract from enjoying our stay.

The home is cute with a beautiful vinyard view and has everything needed for your stay. Easy to find and not too far from Guerneville.

This place was so cute and romantic, perfect for two. We couldn’t get enough of the views and the cut little town. We were thankful for the strong heat, because it did get chilly, especially the bathroom. Speaking of the bathroom, the shower has more pressure than I’ve ever experienced, but sadly it gets cold quick so we learned to stagger our showers. I’m so happy that we booked this just a few days out when we read bad Wifi reviews about another place we had booked! This cottage has a strong signal that let us get another vacation day in whole gazing at the vineyards. We would definitely go back!

This studio is clean, modern, and well-equipped. The kitchen had everything we might need, the bed was comfortable (nicely firm) and the WiFi and streaming services worked great. The bathroom was also just fine. And the view over the vineyard is just as nice as it looks in the picture. We enjoyed our time here and would definitely consider returning.

The location was private and the views from the deck were beautiful. The neighbors are kind and you feel secluded from the back deck. Overall we had a lovely time, however we do have some areas of feedback. This is great for a short term stay in the cooler months. We were close to great vineyards and great eateries as well.

We celebrated our wedding anniversary with three days at the Melody cottage and it was very sweet indeed. For such a small footprint, there were two choices of porches for outdoor lounging and eating, a firm (but comfortable mattress and as a bonus, a well-equipped kitchen. We like to cook a few meals, even just breakfast, so this was a real plus. The bathroom is almost comically small, so only one adult can use it at a time, but it does the job. The small place was neatly decorated so that it felt larger. The neighborhood is delightfully quiet and chill, and an easy 5 minute drive to downtown G-Ville. We parked under the bridge and strolled into town for variety and to stretch our legs. We'd be happy to stay here again.

This is a perfect place for a romantic weekend. The view of the vineyard is superb. It is small inside, but the spacious front deck allows you to entertain a few guests. The decor is attractive . The kitchen was missing a few items and there was no coffee. The paper products (toilet paper and paper towels) were cheap. However, the back deck looking over the vineyard made up for it.

Easy check in and check out! Property was as advertised and expected! We enjoyed our stay!

We loved the place - it was cozy, quiet and had all we needed for a weekend in the Russian River Valley. The only drawback is that the shower is small but manageable.

My girlfriend and I spent the weekend here for my birthday. It's a perfect little cottage for 2 with a wonderful view of the vineyard. The river is close by for kayaking and the beach at Jenner is only 10 minutes away. The bed was a little firm for our tastes but that's not a fault. The kitchen was equipped for us to make a romantic dinner and the deck was the perfect setting for the meal. I would suggest, however, keeping a knife sharpener in the kitchen. Other than these 2 very minor quibbles, this place was perfect for our weekend. We'll be back for sure. Thanks.

Perfectly appointed, this sweet little cottage has everything we needed for our three day stay. The front and back decks coordinate nicely with the sun, so there was always a comfortable spot to relax.

Lovely little studio apartment. Only small complaint was that I messaged the host with an inquiry and they never got back to me, but otherwise it was really seamless. The place is cosy with two very lovely balconies and it was a great place for us to stay during a weekend in wine country!

This cozy loft apartment was perfect for a relaxing great away. It was nestled among the redwood trees with a front row view of the vineyard from one balcony. A second larger balcony that overlooked the garden was perfect for reading or dining. Everything was very clean and in top working condition. Definitely a place to revisit.

Loved our stay at this perfectly situated bungalow in Guerneville. Nicely outfitted and near terrific locations.

Everything seemed to be as photographed/described and functional. The unit has a beautiful view over a vineyard! The documents in the unit indicate you may hear noise from the workers/vehicles on the vineyard, but that was minimal and not disruptive. The bed seemed small for a queen and wasn't terribly comfortable. There were variety of types of pillows for you to choose which one is comfortable for you. The porch was comfortable to sit on and read a book with a cup of tea. The water pressure in the shower was very low, which is great to conserve water, but I would have preferred a little more water pressure. The unit really packs a punch considering it's so small. Multiple places to sit and eat (we loved the shelf by the window in the kitchen in the mornings). We stayed for 3 nights. Getting there was straightforward with GPS, lock box was easy to locate and use to get the house keys. We arrived in the early evening to a very cold cottage. We turned on the heat, but it was very slow to get warm, so we left to have dinner and came back to a warm cottage. The heat was a bit difficult to manage during our stay, we found the unit to be excessively warm, even when the thermostat was set to 65. Not sure if there is a trick to that but it would be nice to have information on that for guests in the unit. One other thing that was confusing was that there were 3 different documents in the unit that listed 3 different time ranges for night time quiet hours. Also I believe the online listing said there was parking for 2 cars, but documents in the unit said 1 car. The checkout instructions also said we should start a load of towels and dishes in the dishwasher, but there was no dishwasher or washer/dryer in the unit. I am not sure why instructions were not made accurate and consistent across all of the documents, but it would be helpful for guests to have clear expectations outlined. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and would definitely consider returning for another stay.

So clean, so relaxing, so charming. The pictures don’t do it justice. The outdoor deck is like an extension of the inside. I had everything I needed and didn’t want to leave. I will be returning!
