The location is fantastic. You feel like you are very remote, yet 15 mins from Kangaroo Valley. The house was perfect for our group of 3 couples, with everything we needed. Karen and Ben were the perfect hosts.

Our family had a relaxing stay. Beautiful walking trails, wombat spotting and star gazing. Close to little towns for cafe breakfast or shopping to stock up and just stay in the beautiful accommodation. Would definitely stay again.

3 generations stayed for 4 days. Host was so helpful and the property presented beautifully. Just so remote and quiet and the scenery is breathtaking. We will be back

Great stay. The house and property is beautiful, well appointed, and was perfect for a quiet long weekend away. Nothing better than sitting and watching the countryside. Full marks for internet speed!

Amazing location with plenty of wombats around and nice views! Great hosts, good communication and very helpful, we accidentally left some of our kid's clothes at the property and they sorted the return of these out for us. Thanks!

What an amazing property tucked away in Serenity Lane.. The house was perfect and we also had a special friend turn up each day to greet us, Edwardo the Echinda (as my daughter named him).. Also a short drive down to Kangaroo Valley, Bomaderry and Nowra…

Only thing was the road closure and difficulty of getting in and out when we had wedding commitments in town but this had nothing to do with the house or hosts.

Absolutely lived up to its name "Serenity". We were a small group of tired and jaded city-slickers who came away feeling rested and rejuvenated. Enjoyed good food and wine, looking at an amazing view, within a cosy environment that had all that was needed. Thank you!

Great escape from the city. The location was absolutely beautiful. Loved the firepit, sat outside at night with friends.
The cottage was clean and tidy, had plenty of games that we played too. Would highly recommend this cottage to others.

The scenery is phenomenal and our daughter was beside herself with the closeness of kangaroos, horses and foxes. A semi farm stay experience. This really is the perfect weekend getaway from Sydney. The house was awesome and the bath tub was luxurious and exactly what you want in a country house. We absolutely loved sitting on the back porch for both sunrise and sunset with the fire pit going. We won’t hesitate to book this property again.

Cons: very hard to get phone reception, but my biggest disappointment was the poor cleaning - downstairs bathroom esp shower not cleaned, found crumbs on couches, and overall super dusty

Stunning accomdation in the middle of nowhere!
Karen's place was exactly what we were after. Nice, weell equpied house in the middle of nature with a fantastic view. Highly recommeded for stay in Kangaroo Valley & finding your inner peace (especially for city people as us!)

Great place to disconnect from it all
The location is fantastic if you want to get away from it all & just enjoy the peace and quiet of the valley. It’s close enough to town if you want to eat out however the kitchen is stocked with everything you need should you prefer to stay in.

The location is superb!!! Far enough from reality to enjoy a proper break but close enough to town to keep busy.

My husband and I stayed at this property for our first child free weekend to celebrate our wedding anniversary, and attend a wedding ourselves. Wow! It was absolutely beautiful and for us, sitting out the back in silence was exactly what we needed! Definitely recommend!!

Great spot to unwind
Our 9 day stay was the ideal getaway during a busy time of our lives. Serenity Lane is a comfortable size for a family of 5 and the property presented beautifully upon arrival.
Whether we were relaxing around the outdoor fire, exploring nearby Fitzroy Falls and other walking routes, there wasn't a dull moment. The kids enjoyed all aspects of both the local surrounds and the various mini-excursions around the valley.
The late afternoons can get quite windy down in Serenity Lane and if you have younger children, the opportunity to ride bikes and scooters is very limited from the house.
An indoor fireplace would really cap off Serenity Lane nicely, but all in all, it was completely worth it. We loved it
