Big enough and spacious. Home away from home

The location was very good. Good sized rooms and the upstairs bathrooms were in very good condition. The garden was well kept and good size. The welcome basket with local treats.

With our much awaited family get together, we planned our meals for the week, but struggled to cook our ( quite basic ) meals because we struggled to find a roasting tin, good size oven proof dishes, grater, measuring jug and some other basic equipment. We also found much of kitchen cutlery and crockery needed to be rewashed before use and quite a few chipped china. With regards the bedrooms the downstairs single bed, while very comfortable, the bed was next to the door so there was no room for a bedside table, if the bed was the other end of the room this could be rectified. There were plenty of hand rails up the stairs, which were very useful, but no handrail in the downstairs bathroom, so my elderly mother who used the downstairs bedroom, struggled with no hand rail. One of the double bed upstairs hand a plastic mattress protector with a sheet directly on top, this made sleeping very uncomfortable. 2.5 tog duvet toppers are very thin ( this is not a duvet) and some of the blankets in the cupboard were not fit for purpose.

It's hard to think of anything.

Perfect location to town, only 5 mins walk. Had a wonderful stay with friends. Would definitely recommend. Lovely little arrival treats of wine, Welsh cakes and biscuits. Thank you

Great location , lots of room, well equipped

Was an amazing property with all that was needed for a weeks stay of 4 blokes working Proximity to town was brilliant but will serve better when there’s no lockdown
