Great location & well equipped for a couple to have a lovely comfortable stay 😁. It was quiet but so well connected with public transport & facilities in the village 👍. We had no contact with the staff hence my rating but it wasn’t necessary as we had everything we needed.

Location perfect. Handy for the village shop, Hungry Fox cafe/deli and two pubs. Short drive to Morpeth for all main shops. Studio apartment very comfortable and well serviced. Good range of kitchen equipment.

Absolutely minor. Suggestions: Hoover broken. A dustpan and brush would have been handy for small sweep up jobs.

We struggled a bit getting everything in and upstairs, but once we were unloaded we settled in 😊.

The apartment was very lovely. It was quiet, clean, warm and cosy. Local bakery/cafe, corner shop, butcher and pubs were very nice and people in the village were very friendly.

The entry door could be opening towards the street (so you pull them, instead of pushing them) to give a bit more room to get in. It was a bit difficult to get in, especially when you have a dog and you have to wipe their paws first. Except that, everything else was excellent!

Excellent base for exploring the surrounding area. Near to shops, cafes and pubs. Very clean and a well thought through use of a tiny space. Had everything we needed and enjoyed the bonus of a smart TV.

The sofa was very low so would be difficult to get back up again if you had any mobility issues.

Village facilities (pubs, shop, butchers) are amazing but especially the bakery!. Central location for everything we wanted to visit. Well equipped, clean and friendly.

The shower could be improved as it constantly runs hot & cold - maybe to do with water pressure?

We feel that the property was misrepresented on your website as it stated that it was 100 yards from Cragside House and Gardens when it was 7 miles. This was the only reason we booked the property as we are National Trust members and wanted to spend two days walking around, when we had to cut this down to one day due to the distance we had to travel to it. Also we felt that the apartment too small to make yourselves comfortable with water pressure too low for the shower to work properly.
