We spend a wonderful 3-weeks at this apartment overlooking the Bay of Tigullio (Rapallo). Davide and Adele were great hosts and made sure we had everything we needed for the next day given our later arrival. The apartment is fully equipped, clean and comfortable. The biggest surprise were the two terraces overlooking the water- spectacular. It was a short walk into Rapallo, which is a terrific town with good restaurants and shopping. There is also a daily open air market and lots of good stores.

The apartment was clean and comfortable and had everything we needed for our stay. The view was amazing from every room. Adele was out of town but could be reached by phone when needed. I highly recommend this apartment if you visit Rapallo, Italy.

This lovely and very spacious apartment was equipped with everything we needed to make our stay comfortable. The views from the front balcony were spectacular. There is a great walking path down to the city centre and it’s a bit of a hike back but we enjoy walking. We enjoyed the pool and the sea!!

Davide and Adele were wonderful, friendly and most helpful hosts. Their home was extremely comfortable and elegant. All of their restaurant suggestions were fabulous. The town itself is very charming and centrally located for easy day trips. We will definitely be back. Thanks

The apartment was heavenly, spacious and welcoming. Plenty of room for the 6 of us. We would have liked to make use of the pool, but it was not available. We explored the area from Cinque Terra to Portofino during our stay, it was all beautiful. Adele and Davide were great hosts

We absolutely enjoyed Adele and Davide's apartment! After a long day out in the sun or exploring the region, it provided such comfort and peace for all of us to come home to. The cleanliness, convenience, and comfort was top of the line. Air conditioning, washing machine, dishwasher, coffee machine, all worked perfectly and provided the comforts of home. The internet worked great for all of us, with several working virtually. The two balconies have amazing views and just enjoying them is a vacation on its own. You will not regret booking this apartment!

The apartment has the feel of a luxury holiday venue with all of the facilities of a family home, making it a truly relaxing place to spend time. Davide and Adele were wonderful hosts, holding our booking for 2 years over the pandemic and going out of their way to help us rearrange our holiday and ensure we had everything we needed. The apartment is on the 5th floor which provides the amazing views and is accessible by lift. The apartment itself is at the top of a very steep drive and is usually serviced by a funicular that provides easy access to the top of the drive but sadly this was not in use during our stay and made accessing the building difficult for people with mobility issues as we did not have a car. However this was the only challenge in an otherwise amazing property in a fabulous location, managed by welcoming owners.

Was weniger erwähnt wurde: der Schrägaufzug von unten bis zum Haus ist wirklich sehr nützlich, man muß keine Einkäufe nach oben schleppen. Der Weg in den Ort führt teilweise an der Strasse lang, führt aber bald in einen Park und ist dann sehr schön. Ca 15 min bis zum Ort. Insgesamt ein ganz tolles Feriendomizil! Das Einzige was stören könnte: Die Eisenbahn ist deutlich zu hören.

We had a wonderful stay in this apartment. Could not have asked for a cleaner , more well appointed apartment to stay in during our visit to the area. The location was perfect, the view was amazing. We could take the very or train to every place we wanted to visit. The owner was there to great us. He even had purchased some grocery items for us to get started, at no additional expense. The pool on site was lovely and a great amenity after a long day touring. I would stay there again !!!

Davide and Adele have a beautiful home within a short walk to the beach town of Rapallo. The views are incredible, the apartment is spotless, large and lovely. Our hosts were gems! Very thoughtful in providing milk, fruit, coffee and more to get us started on our stay. They were very helpful in recommending great restaurants and things to do. The town of Rapallo is special to the surrounding areas in that it is more laid back and comfortable. An excellent choice!!!!

Started our French/Italian Riviera trip from Rapallo. Davide waited us in front of the building and introduced this amazing apartment for us. This is the best that someone can offer, a feeling that you come into someones home that is so well taken care of. We immediately felt at home. Apartment is as it is described in Homeaway, but it's actually much more. It is on the 5th floor, partly below the penthouse apartment. It has 2 very large balconies, west side offers immacculate views to the bay towards Rapallo and Santa Margerita di Ligure, east side to enjoy mornings, sea view as well, cozy views to other houses, or cool down a bit when it gets hot in the day/afternoon. Apartment was very, very clean, and it is very well equipped as well, for example kitchen has definitely everything one needs. It has 2 west facing bedrooms, and 1 towards east. All bedrooms have doors to balcony, and west facing rooms have double doors. All equipped with aircon, which is needed in Italy during the summer months. Living room is very large. This apartment can easily and comfortably accommodate 6 people, and it is worth mentioning that the 3rd bedroom has shower/toilet of its own and can be well isolated from the other rooms. Parking is beside the building or even in garage, which Davide offered to us as well. Pool/pool area is very large and has a fantastic south view towards Santa Margerita and Portofino. There is a restaurant below the pool area, they actually opened it during our stay, we ate there once, the food was excellent; what a luxury to have a private restaurant in the house. The house itself is a walking distance to the city of Rapallo, with a lot of good restaurants etc. 24/7 supermarket Coop is a 5 min drive into the city, but there are shops closer to that. We felt Rapallo in June is much more local than Santa Margerita and Portofino, the latter 2 being "jetset" places, all of them must see. We visited also town Camogli (to the east) and Chiavari ( to the west). Camogli is definitely worth seeing. I would recommend renting a car, we drove to Villefranche-sur-mer beside Nice for an additional week and feel one sees much more driving around....but there is a good train connection as well. It is also worth mentioning that the house is inside a gated area. All and all, words are not enough for this place, you have to experience this by yourself:) Special thanks to Davide for being very attentative with some questions we had.

Our Rapallo accomodation was great. Our hosts Davide & Adele were very helpful and kind. They quickly responded to any correspondence sent and were there to show us through their apartment when we arrived. The apartment was lovely. The beds were comfortable, bedrooms spacious, kitchen well equipped with everything we needed. The living area and patios looked out onto the bay - the view was fantastic - exactly like the photos. Location was a short (20 minute) walk to the centre of town and train station . The cost of a taxi is approximately 10 euros. We found Rapallo was close to many of the tourist sights including Cinque Terra, Portofino, Comogli, San Frustosa. (sorry for any spelling errors). We could not fault anything about our stay and would highly recommend it to others. It is a very beautiful apartment in a beautiful part of the world.

What a wonderful apartment! It was "home" for a month and we felt right at home. Davide and Adele were there to welcome us and made us quickly feel like family and were caring throughout our stay. The apartment, especially the kitchen and laundry room, is incredibly well equipped with everything you might want or need. The furniture is tasteful and very comfortable. The view from the balconies are wonderful. Our dining on the front balcony was enhanced by watching the sunset. The walk into town was a pleasant 20 minute stroll along the coast with cafes and a park along the way. The grounds are beautiful and the curvy access driveway is really nice with lush landscaping and statuaries. The pool area (unfortunatly wasn't opened during our stay) is well done and spacious. The Rapallo area suffered a lot of damage in a storm last year and re-construction was still ongoing along the sea front, with most of it completed except for the ferry pier which meant a short train ride to Santa Margherita to catch a ferry, The trains are a life line for visiting the neighboring towns. We especially enjoyed Santa Margherita, Chiavari, Portovenere, Camogli, etc.). A must see is the Catholic Church on Montallegro (via cable car) where at the hotel, we had one our best meals. We highly recommend staying at this fine apartment and would gladly avail ourselves of Davide and Adele's hospitality in the future.

Easy access to downtown, train station, and the boat shuttles to portofino and Cinque Terre. Couldn’t ask for a better place or view. Once you get there you do not need a car.

We stayed for 2 weeks in August in Davide and Adele's apartment. We were greeted by Davide at the apartment, who was very charming and open to assist with anything we needed. The apartment is very spacious, with a lovely large living/dining area with huge west-facing windows providing great views over the terrace to the centre of Rapallo, Santa Margherita and on to Portofino. Each day ended with beautiful sunsets over the hills beyond. Travelling regularly for business with many nights in hotels, we usually rent apartments/villas for summer holidays and we were amazed at how well equipped this apartment is - there was everything and more than we needed. The apartment is very clean and airy with some very nice pieces of antique furniture. The kitchen has everything and this leads to another terrace east-facing, for peaceful cooling off in the afternoons. With the apartment being on the 5th floor, there is a lift for access. Furthermore, being situated at the top of a typical twisting drive, there is a small funicular designed to transport 2 people at a time up and down to the road - very quaint indeed. The swimming pool is a large salt-water shaped pool, with a diving board and also a smaller children's pool. In the height of summer, we still found lots of space at the pool and it wasn't crowded in any way. The terrace around the pool gives further views south-west, over impressive super yachts to Portofino. The pool is a real sun-trap, though there is a shaded area behind trees and plenty of parasols. The pools are also attended by a lifeguard. As a service to the apartments, during summer months a restaurant down from the pool and under pine trees is a very convenient place to eat in the evening, with the food being very reasonably priced and a good concise menu offering regional dishes. It also provided with a place to enjoy the views with a glass or 2 of wine in the late afternoons. It's also convenient for refreshments by the pool during the day. Davide also offered use of their large parking garage, which was very handy when the communal parking area is full. Overall, the apartment and its surroundings are excellent. A walk just over the road outside provides a sea wall promenade for a 15 minute stroll in to Rapallo centre. Also, a 5 minute walk along the road in the direction of Rapallo is a bus stop with mostly hourly buses in to Rapallo and beyond. To summarise, we miss the apartment still! This was a beautiful spacious apartment very well equipped. Davide and Adele were very kind. The pool was beautiful, but closed very early in the evening (7 pm). I would definitely visit again, but don't break anything, I broke a clear glass from the bar area and was charged 50 euro to replace it.
