Easy check-in and very quiet neighborhood. Very clean place. Had an extra bed which was a nice surprise. Bathroom had towels and shampoo, things you would only expect in a hotel so this was a nice touch.

Location and peace

Location was close to everything we needed and a short walk from sky train.

Good value, walkable distance to metro, quiet residential area. Most essentials were provided, e.g. coffee machine, cooker, fridge, laundry. Free parking.

It was not entirely clear from the advert/photos that this was the basement flat with shared facilities. Not a problem, but could have been clearer.

I will write this review as unbias as I can in comparison to other hotels. This unit is a basement of someone's house, going to the unit with heavy luggages was not pleasant as you have to climb up a few steps and then down a flight of stairs. If you have a good impression from the exterior photos, the interior decor feels like the total opposite. It felt like everything is patched together (all the beds, mattresses, lighting levels are different, the rooms felt dim). I'm trying not to point out the ecstatic side of things as it's all objective, but it will make you wonder where did the beds, shelves and different things came from. Bathroom: The grouts are dirty and needs some scrubbing. The shower floor has some small no slip mats but then they are too small which you may still slip. The shower gels and shampoos are left on the shower floor? Why not put them on a hanging rack so you don't need to keep crouching down and standing up? The shower door also leaks so the dry mat will be wet when you are done your shower. Kitchen: There are used condiments left in the fridge. Some items are ok like the squeeze bottles, but some items like jams and butter etc. , it's rather unsanitary not unknowing how the are previously handled. The sugar @ the coffee machine is poured in a mysterious pasta jar that makes you wonder how it was previously handled. Location: quiet neighborhood but far from everything. You will need a car to get here. For sanity issues, we booked 3 nights and left after the 1st.

Breakfast was not included. The location was good for our needs.

Cleaning products used in apartment were highly scented. A less aromatic product would be better. The scent disapated which was good.

Pros... Two bedrooms and three beds. It would be great value for families and couples sharing.

Place feels damp and dank. Couple closets but only a few hangers? Loud overactive dogs, lots of barking No mention of stairs to access the basement, three sets of stairs Poor lighting in the suite, either way to bright or not bright enough Basement suite is dark, limited natural light, dungey, dank, black mold in shower This was a real problem... No cellular coverage in the suite and we both have local cell phone company coverage The suite has all the basics but just barely. All the furnishings and appliances are very used, second or third hand or hand me downs. There is little to no attention to detail... No WiFi provided which is odd, especially since it is a concrete basement with limited to no data coverage from local cellular provider
