Recently back from a fantastic stay in Ostia with our two teenagers. The property was even bigger than expected - with 3 large bedrooms, kitchen, lounge-diner & large balcony. Paolo was there to meet us on arrival and was really helpful with his pretty good English. Everything we needed was in the property, including plenty of towels, bedding & outside furniture. Also the kids particularly enjoyed the coffee machines (pods provided) and water chiller with ice on demand. The WiFi was great - plenty of streaming etc with no problems. Aircon was fantastic in most rooms. The unit in the middle bedroom was not working properly - I believe Paolo is looking into this - but actually it was ok as there was an aircon unit in the hallway and we just kept the door open. There's a decent supermarket near by and a Carefour near the station (10-15 min walk) Absolutely loads of eating places and coffee shops on the doorstep - we recommend booking on a Saturday night though! Easy rail travel into Rome @ 1.50 Euros pp/single There are the private beaches where you can rent the use of beds & parasols but we just used the public beach, approx 5 mins walk from the apartment - which was fine. We loved that this was a resort for Italians. We hardly heard any English spoken and it gave us a real sense of Italian life. We would definitely recommend it and hope to return!

The apartment is very well located in Ostia and with good connections to Rome and Fiumicino airport. The terrace is a major advantage and the apartment is well equipped. In total, a very good experience!

Ett underbart läge. Fantastik utsikt över havet, närhet till strand och bad. Även nära till saluhall och pastabutik. En bra hyresvärd som var hjälpsam och tjänstvillig. Vi kommer gärna tillbaka och bor här igen.

Our host Paolo was very gracious and cooperative, punctual and keeps a professional-looking property with all the expected amenities and four excellent air conditioners.

We enjoyed our stay here at this holiday home. Paolo was very accommodating and has everything you need at the house. With it being July and extremely hot we did not think we would get much use of the terrace but we used it constantly. The air conditioners work amazing. There was a cool breeze all the time, we even cooked our own pasta dinner and ate out there one night. The place is only a 15 minute drive to the airport. We met a taxi driver who gave us his personal home # for all our transportation as it worked out cheaper than taking the train to go into Rome.

Very nice apartment with a huge balcony. Great service from the host. The location is perfect close to nice beach, market, shops and restaurants. Very easy and cheap ( 1,50 euro ) to take the train to Rome.

Paolo was a great host, always available to answer questions and help with anything we needed. The apartment has a great location. It's in excellent condition, very clean and well maintained. I would recommend this apartment to anyone who is looking for a clean spacious place in vicinity of Rome.

My wife and I with our two small current, ages 1 an 2, stayed here for about a week. It was an incredible experience. When we arrived, the apartment was very clean and ready.to move in. Paolo had stocked it with basic necessities, so we didn't have to immediately go shopping. The apartment itself is very comfortable, we were there is April, and the heaters came in handy. The kids loved the balcony with its seaside view and spent quite a bit of time playing there. Paolo is very nice and accommodating and had some helpful tips for both the apartment and surrounding location . There is everything you can think of within a 5 minutes walk. We were hesitant at first because the apartment does not have an elevator, but in the end, it worked out well because we're burned off all that pizza and gelato. Thanks for the wonderful stay Paolo!

Abbiamo passato una bellissima vacanza in questo splendido appartamento al centro di Ostia Lido a due passi dalla spiaggia ma con tutti i negozi e i servizi sotto casa. La zona è tranquilla molto vicina anche all'isola pedonale e al pontile, perciò anche per i ristoranti ed i locali non c'è che l'imbarazzo della scelta. Si vede che l'appartamento è stato ristrutturato da pochissimo, ed è davvero molto spazioso. Ci sono 3 grandi camere da letto tutte con tv e aria condizionata ed anche un bel soggiorno molto comodo ed accogliente che sembra di stare a casa. Il vero valore aggiunto è comunque la splendida terrazza molto grande con tavolino e ombrellone, lettini e barbecue e con una splendida vista sul mare davvero invidiabile. Non c'è l'ascensore ma non è stato un problema perchè sono pochi gradini e molto bassi. Il Sig. Paolo è stato molto cordiale e sempre disponibile per qualsiasi cosa e lo ringrazio molto. L'ho gia consigliato ad amici e parenti ma di sicuro ci tornerò, anche solo per un week-end. Gianluca
