Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This will be very thorough since the last reviews have been over a year. First, the cabin was very clean and very spacious. The inside is just as pictured. The outside of the cabin has been stained a darker brown not like the picture. Missing rocking chairs on the porch. Just a small patio table, two chairs and one rocker. There is no mountain view from the porch. Could use a little outside cleanup since the porch was very slippery when wet. The cabin is also not succluded and surrounded by a few other homes. Would have liked to know that ahead of time since there are families living on the same street. Two abandoned cars as you are coming up the main road to cabin. The inside of the cabin was well stocked with plenty of dishes, pots and pans and utensils. The biggest issue was getting the TV and internet setup. If you are not tech savy you will not get the TV to work. My husband is and we were able to have wifi and use Roku TV. Definitely needs a simple setup especially for older seniors. The master suite was really nice with garden tub and walk in shower. Only had two flat pillows on bed so had to hunt down more. The pool table is not level, pockets are broken, old needs replacing. The queen bed has a broken foot board. The hot tub was very relaxing. We stayed as a family of 4 and a baby and we had a nice vacation. We would stay again only if some changes inside were made.

Minor issue with working the televisions but we are not internet smart. We figured out enough to watch some football ballgames. Very nice location easy to access Bryson City and Cherokee.Kitchen is well stocked with cookware and utensils, master bedroom and bath were comfortable and inviting after a long day of sight seeing. Hot tub was relaxing and much needed after couple of long days to exploring the local areas. Thanks for a great weekend!

The TV in Master bedroom was not working but other than that the rental was nice. Also, would have been nice to know in the property description that the house was located on a steep dirt mountain road, single lane. We hauled a trailer and had no problems going up or down in the truck or on the motorcycle.....but the dust and mud were not my favorite.

We come up to the mountains to work very often and have had a great experience with Yellow Rose. There were a few things that could use updating (always seems to be the case) and the pool table was not in good enough shape to play unfortunately. BUT the hot tub was clean and hot, wi-fi was strong and the cabin was cozy. Unfortunately we didn't get to stay here long and had to move to a different cabin for reasons, but great place.

Very clean and we were pleasantly surprised by how large the place is! Will be looking to come again.

We had to take trash with us upon leaving which should have been included. Need a few board repaired on the deck and pressure washed to remove the mold( which was very slippery in the mornings.

Inside cabin was just as presented on listing. Beautiful and clean. Outside however needs a good scrubbing. Inside had several issues as well. Upstairs loft daybed had a piece broken off that caused one of our family members to get cut and a couple other minor repairs are needed such as upstairs bedroom closet door falls off when opening. The bed footboard in the upstairs bedroom was also missing screws. Inside home was beautiful though and was the perfect size for our family of 6. Hot tub was magnificent however with the outside needing a scrubbing we felt laying our towels down anyway would get them dirty. We didn’t spend any time on covered porch but was a little disgusted with the left over cigarette/cigar ashes that had not been cleaned prior to our arrival. Also property needs gravel and weed killer sprayed something fierce. There was no rug inside front door so we had to use a towel to wipe our feet as we entered after a rain shower. Beds were comfortable and we enjoyed the pool table and games provided. It is a gravel and narrow drive up so would not recommend for motorcycles. Overall would stay again. Just hoping some outside maintenance will be done.

The cabin was exactly what my family was looking for to celebrate the end of a long, stressful school year. The cabin was open, comfortable, and clean with an easy check-in process. We loved the hot tub and the proximity to great views and Bryson City!

Just what we needed. A family break!!! And this is the 3rd time staying here and will be back. Just love it, a quiet getaway

The cabin rental was exceptional. Great for a couple or a small family. Only issue I had was the internet did not work. Called many times regarding it and nothing was ever done within the week that we were there.

The cabin was clean and well supplied. Very pretty inside. One thing that we didn’t notice, was there was not a lot of hot water. We had to stagger our showers or we would definitely run out. But the main problem that we encountered was… We could not get anyone to talk to us about why we could not logon to Wi-Fi. We did not get to watch television at all or have any kind of Internet service for our phones. I called twice and talked to someone at yellow Rose. They assured me they were trying to get a hold of the owners, however no one ever called me back . Finally on Wednesday, I emailed them and they sent me an email back, talking about yellow rose, that they were indeed sorry but they still could not get a hold of the owners. If we had been people that needed our Internet service for business and work, that would’ve been bad. We did not however and it was just an inconvenience. My husband likes to watch television a lot and he’s always on his phone so it was a great inconvenience for him. It would be nice to have a refund sent to us for oh say $100 or so . But I’m quite sure that will not happen. You know, if I shop at Walmart and I pay for something, every bit of my money is good not part of my money but all of it. That is the way I feel about this… This day in time the Internet is very important and we just could not get any response at all from anyone. But the cabin was very beautiful and comfortable. Bedrooms are dated, the upstairs bedroom mattress needs a new one very uncomfortable and in the pool table area has a lot of furniture making it hard to play. Property was clean and well maintained. Needs to be dusted more often Carpenter bees eating the whole home very badly needs to be taken care of 100s of bees next to the hot tub Neighbors dog barked all night don’t know why but nice place still quiet until the dog started barking at around 3am
