This property is outstanding, pictures don't do justice to such a fantastic place to stay. Hosts Pam and Steve have thought of everything and then some more. Such a friendly welcome and just enough information not overload. We felt so relaxed and really loved our 3 nights.

Pam and Steve were wonderful hosts, the gîte was perfect - arty, well-equipped and cosy - and the location great for exploring the Loire/Vienne sites. Thanks for your warm welcome!

Hidden behind a large double gate, next to the church, this property exceeded our expectations. We found the descriptions to be accurate and the furnishings and fittings are all very high end. The stairs to the bedroom and ensuite are necessarily a bit steep and if we had one minor gripe it wa that the fridge is small so if you are self catering rather than eating out then perhaps shop accordingly for your arrival. Although thee are no amenities in Veniers, Loudun itself is a short drive away and may make for a pleasant stroll although it was too hot to test this theory during our stay. There was shade to be found throughout the day in the private courtyard in the fabulous gardens. The hosts were very approachable and full of useful information and thee is a microbrewery on site offering 3 distinct brews. Chinon, Saumur and Fontevraud are short drives away, we particularly enjoyed Fontevraud. We have no hesitation in recommending this site to everyone. We aren't in the habit of returning to places but if we were we would happily revisit La Maison Tumtum Arbre. Thank you Pam( and Steve).

Nous avons passé un agréable séjour dans ce gîte très confortable et très calme., à une demi-heure de voiture de nombreux sites. Nous avons pu visiter Fontevraud, Chinon, et faire du vélo le long de la Loire. Le gîte est confortable et décoré avec goût, le jardin est très agréable aussi, Pam et Steve sont des hôtes accueillants et disponibles.. Merci à eux.

Nous sommes tombés sous le charme de ce joli gîte magnifiquement rénové, tout confort, très bonne literie, très propre et bien au calme. Sa situation nous a permis de visiter de nombreux châteaux (Azay le Rideau, Chinon, Rivau, Ussé, Saumur...) sites troglodytiques et de découvrir cette belle région. Les propriétaires sont adorables, discrets et ont été très soucieux de notre bien être. Nous recommandons avec grand plaisir cette excellente adresse.

Maison très sympa, bien équipée et on a droit à une bonne bouteille à nôtre arrivée, toute les explications au fonctionnement des divers équipements, et beaucoup d'informations sur les sites à visiter dans la région, et des propriétaires très gentils, en bref, tout pour passer une excellente semaine
