House was roomy and kitchen had everything we needed for making meals. Beds were very comfortable for a good night's sleep. There were not any directions on how to use the fireplaces that we were able to locate. If you plan to do laundry at the home, make sure you plan extra time to dry the clothes as the dryers take at least 2-3 cycles to dry a load. All in all this home is a very nice home to return to after a long day outdoors.

We have stayed in several rental homes in close proximity to Island Park, Henry Lake and West Yellowstone. By far our experience with the Hideaway was the best. We would definitely return.

Perfect retreat cabin for our family getaway! The cabin was clean and very comfortable. We didn't mind that Yellowstone park was about a 45 minute drive away. Plenty of space for us to spread out and nicely furnished. Only drawback was the 10 a.m. checkout, a bit too early.

Beautiful house- clean and seemingly new or newly renovated with lots of amenities. Located not quite as “in-the-woods” as we were hoping, but still quiet and relaxing. It worked great for our group- especially the handicap accessibility.

Loved the place!

Great place to stay for any length of time for Yellow stone. Need more steak knives. Four knives don't work for 8 people. Buy a new Bar b Que grill. The grease covers over the flames are so old that they are missing over the two middle. If you wish to get into any tours, make sure that you are near the pick up point. We book a great tour, but they launched from Gardiner off the north entrance. Always had hot water and enough towels and the two washing machines were great. All in all I would not hesitate to book here again.

Easy check in by email. Good location. If you stay there in the winter, just know, you have to pack your coolers, luggage, etc up to the second level. In the summer, the ramp would make it much easier.

After performing diligent research to find an accommodating cabin for my family's Memorial Day vacay. It was very important for us to find a cabin where my husband; who is a manual wheelchair bound disabled Navy veteran, could enjoy our experience visiting Yellowstone as everyone else. I must say that Huckleberry Hideaway was exceptional in its accessibility. The main floor bedroom with walk-in shower was a delight..as we did not have any issues with space. The kitchen and deck were also very accomodating. I must also mention the cleanliness of the entire cabin. The kitchen was appropriately stocked for preparing meals and barbecuing. The double washer and dryer made doing everyones laundry a piece of cake. If you're looking for a cabin close to Yellowstone that is wheelchair accessible. I would recommend this cabin. My recommendation to may the cabin even better would to have a wider concrete platform at the end of the ramp area for wheelchair loading and unloading.

The only suggestion would be the need for lamps in all of the rooms. Otherwise, the house was enjoyed by all.

We enjoyed our stay very much -- convenient location for us to get back and forth to Yellowstone; pretty surroundings, lots of space indoors; which was very convenient for our party of seven; great kitchen with everything we needed. The right washing machine did not work at all. We never used it. There was a little blue water in it when we arrived, and it would not even turn on. Otherwise, everything was as described to us, and we were happy with the overall experience. Thank you!

It was a beautiful home with all the amenities. The kitchen was very well stocked. There were 8 of us in the home and room for 4 more. We were never crowded even when the other 20 people from our group came to visit. The little community of Island Park is lovely. Henry Lake was a great place for our boys to go fishing There is a well stocked grocery store just across the street from the home. Great vacation home away from home!!

We stayed in the huckleberry escape. Such a cute little cabin! It was so clean and a great location - quick to get to all activities! A perfect location and place to stay for a relaxing vacation in beautiful island park. My only regret is that we couldn't stay longer.

We loved this spacious cabin surrounded by trees. Great location not too far from the main road, near gas stations and the market. Easily accommodated two families with room for more. Two living areas so kids could be downstairs playing/watching movies while adults visited, played games upstairs. The kitchen is very large with granite countertops, brand new appliances, and equipped with pots, pans, and cooking utensils as well as the coffee maker and toaster. Two gas fireplaces, three spacious bathrooms. Also a large tile area to drop snowmobile/snow gear with hooks and double washers/dryers. Cabin is also handicap accessible with a ramp for entrance and a handicap accessible bathroom. We will definitely stay again!

This rental is amazing. It's much bigger than the pictures show. Plenty of room and ammenitites. It's very comfortable and homey. The kitchen is very well stocked with dishes, appliances, and tools and there are lots of towels. The kids loved the play room full of toys. We booked through Cheri at Island Park Reservations. She went out of her way to ensure we had the dates we needed and checked in with us the day of our arrival to answer any last minute questions. We will definately be staying at this rental again.
