This was a nice cabin to stay at when visiting grandfather mountain. The cabin was clean and well decorated. The hot tub and all the other amenities worked. It is located in a wooded area but right on a main road.

Very nice cabin. Hot tub was great. Yes there is traffic but inside or in hot tub you don’t notice it. We saw deer on the hill in back yard. Easy to get to everything. We will definitely be back.

The cabin is beautiful and everything worked great! We will definitely go back again and again!! Only thing i would change is the mattress on big bed was too hard but other than that it was a wonderful stay!

Cabin had everything you could ask for and more. Hot tub was awesome after hiking all day. Clean and cozy. Definietly worth it.

Everything was great with our stay! The cabin was clean and cozy, and the hot tub was awesome after a day of skiing! Our dogs loved having the side yard to roam free (it is not closed in on the back side that has an incline, so may not want to let your dogs off leash unless you trust them to stay close). Ruben & Laura were very helpful and accommodating, and we greatly enjoyed our time. Highly recommend and would book again.

I prefer simple and rustic, and everything about the cabin was just as I had imagined. Unfortunately after one good night's rest in the most comfortable bed, we had to head back home for a family emergency. Hopefully wintertime will find me there again.

We enjoyed our visit to Banner Elk. The cabin was comfortable and met our needs. The only down side was that we never figured out how to work the TV for our 6 year old. Other than that we would recommend this cabin to friends and family. The hot tub was a big hit with all!

Nice location - close to Lees-McRae college and Beech Mountain. Kitchen was well equipped, bedrooms were spacious. Fire pit and hot tub are a nice addition. Nice beds and bathrooms.

We have a great stay at the cozy cabin. It truly was a cozy cabin and was as described in the listing. It was old school with no overhead lights downstairs, so arriving at dusk, we were not expecting that and had to find the lamps to turn on, but it was no big deal. There was a deer head on the wall that startled my wife as we were trying to get the lamps on as she about ran into it. It is located on the main road to Beech Mountain, so it has a lot of traffic going by and has a bit of road noise, but it did not really bother us. Other than that, the cabin was a great selection and we enjoyed our weekend there. Communication with the host was good and we had no issues during our stay. We would recommend this cozy cabin.

Loved it! The fence wouldn't contain our dogs, as half of it was just a high hill and they are active dogs, but that was okay. Lots of deer and a great view from the back, but it's near a busy road in the front

Very cozy cabin! Pictures are spot on. Cute decor. Plenty of kitchen amenities. Check-in was easy. The cabin was very clean. The host is exceptional! I stayed for five weeks. I ran into a couple of issues, but the host was very attentive and immediately remedied the problems. I had my older medium size dog with me. The side yard was secure and great for him to wander around. He had difficulty navigating the stairs to the second floor bedrooms-but he is 15yo after all! Other than that, a very dog friendly property. Location is perfect. Literally five minutes from the town center yet nestled amid all the trees and nature. Loved the hot tub!

We stayed at this cozy cabin to visit the Land of Oz event. The cabin is in a great location close to the Land of Oz on Beech mountain and Banner Elk. We had a great stay, loved the fireplace. Would definitely rent again.

Cabin was marvelous but the noisy road, literally 20ft from the front porch, was nearly untenable.

I reserved this place as a Christmas gift for my husband. After all the business of the season, the two of us and our dogs were able to sneak away for a few days and so as one skiing and relaxing. The location was perfect for those things. And the hot tub might be the biggest hot tub I’ve ever seen! Which was really nice for stretching out, warming up, and relaxing after being on the slopes.

The property was great. The road going next to it was somewhat busy. As with a lot of houses up there there was no a/c. It was a little muggy at night. I think it should be listed no a/c. I realize it didn’t say it did. However, most would assume it does. It was clean and all appliances worked. The beds were a little hard. I would stay again in a cooler month

Clean, cosy cabin. The hot tub felt amazing after a day on the mountains. You may be just off the road but it's the ideal location for everything. We will be booking again.

This cute cabin was perfect for a fun girls getaway with pups in tow. It had every comfort needed and a perfect little side yard for the dogs to stretch and relieve themselves. Close to hiking areas and proximity to other towns for exploration. Weather was perfect, nice front porch for relaxing and playing games after a long day of hiking. The spa was a bonus for aching muscles. I would definitely recommend!

I BOOKED A WEEKEND IN BANNER ELK AT LOG MANOR TO CELEBRATE HIS ACOMPLISHMENT. WE ARRIVED AROUND CHECK IN TIME AND FOUND THE LOCATION EASILY. WHEN WE WALKED INTO THE CABIN, WE WER VERY PLEASED. SO MUCH ROOM AND LOCATION TO THE VILLAGE OF BANNER ELK ( 5 MINUTE DRIVE AT MOST). VERY CLEAN AND EVERYTHING YOU NEED TO SET UP HOME FOR VACATION. BEDS WERE VERY COMFORTABLE AND HOT TUB WAS GREAT. WE WILL BE RETURNING ON OUR NEXT VISIT
