Richard's property is perfect in many ways. He has thought of what a family with two teenage duaghters needs on a holiday of this kind with a brilliant equipped apartment. Communication with Richard was first class and he went out of his way to help with a couple of things. The apartment is in a brilliant location - just a few minutes from everywhere.

Great place to stay very convenient for beach shops resteraunts ect ! Very friendly greeting off the owner who gave us all info about the place and appartment so helpful. Everything you can think of was in the apartment mod cons and gadgets galore:) Fantastic 7 night stay for me and my partner !

Good communication with Richard. The apartment is exactly as described and perfect for a family break. We were grateful for the pizzas and tea that were there to welcome us after a late flight in, as the shops were closed in Mogan and we were unable to grab some supplies.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Richard’s flat. It lived up to all of its online listing. Richard met us and make sure we knew how everything worked in the flat. This is so important and helpful as often you are left to try and puzzle out how things work. The flat is spotless and really does have everything you need, Richard has thought of everything, even down to UK adapters. Internet/ WiFi is very good and us non teckies even got the hang of the Apple TV. We also enjoyed the rooftop heated pool. The flat is literally 4 minutes walk to the lovely beach and harbour area in Puerto de Mogan and a couple of minutes from a large Spar. The views from the balcony are wonderful. Can thoroughly recommend Puerto De Mogan and this flat. We would certainly book again.

Property looked a gem online but was even better in reality. The owner, Richard, was brilliant with wealth of helpful tips both before and during our stay and a whole host of really thoughtful touches eg Christmas tree, mince pies and Christmas crackers plus a well stocked fridge and larder cupboard waiting for us on arrival which helped us slip into holiday mode almost immediately. Richard was there to greet us and to show us round the apartment including how all the gadgets, locks, aircon etc worked which was great. Richard was extremely helpful and immediately responsive if we had any queries. Apartment is very well equipped with Richard providing everything you could want for any eventuality. Apartment is clean and modern with a fantastic solarium and heated pool which we had to ourselves most days. Apartment is superbly located, a short stroll from the shops, restaurants and buzzy sea front/harbour area but far enough away from same to get a bit of peace and quiet if you want it. This was our 6th visit to Gran Canaria staying at various locations around the island but each time we have visited Puerto de Mogan for the day and have always wanted to stay in the resort which has become our favourite place on our favourite Canary Island. This was the first time we have managed to find accommodation in Puerto de Mogan and we feel we could not have found anywhere better than Richard's apartment. We have had some fantastic holidays in Gran Canaria previously but the family were unanimous that this was the best mainly due to the quality and location of Richard's apartment. Our only regret was that we could only manage a week away due to family commitments. We could have happily stayed for a month or more. Needless to say we can't wait to come back and are scouring our diaries to see if we can crowbar in another week in Puerto de Mogan sometime in 2020. We can't recommend Richard and his apartment highly enough. Many thanks for a truly memorable Christmas break.

We knew Puerto Mogan well and wanted to be within striking distance of everything. Richard’s apartment was perfect. Ideal spot. We loved that we had the choice of beach or pool, the weather was hotter than expected and the beach was very busy. The tranquility of the pool area and heated pool was fabulous. The apartment was ideal for 2 retired couples for a week. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and found Richard easy to communicate with. We’re already returning next year.

Puerto Mogán is lovely the apartment was ideally located . The apartment is very well fitted out with chargers tv English plug sockets etc the balcony is a pure sun trap ! Always got loungers at the pool no matter what time we went up ! Great holiday

We enjoyed staying in Richards apartment so much that we have already booked to stay there next year. Very comfortable and extremely clean in perfect location. Richard is a great host and takes his role very seriously in the way he looks after his property and guests. Highly recommended

We booked Richard's apartment after reading all the good reviews and was not disappointed. Richard met us on our arrival and showed us around , he made sure we got connected to the Wi-Fi and gave us his contact details should we need them before leaving us to enjoy our stay. The apartment was clean, had everything we needed and more plus we felt safe. We enjoyed breakfast on the balcony every morning with the sun rising above the hills. The rooftop pool was lovely, the water temperature was just fine, we went up every day and as others have said it was very quiet, bliss. We had a very relaxing stay and wished we could have stayed longer, Puerto Mogan is a lovely resort, the apartment is in an ideal location, we will definitely be back.

We stayed for 12 nights including Christmas and New Year. This is a really well-furnished, clean and comfortable apartment. The balcony makes it feel spacious. Richard has put a lot of thought into providing guests with all the facilities, even USB charging points. Using the pool was straightforward and it was heated! Ideal for a swim then relaxing in the sun. We were often the only people using it. Richard could not have been more helpful throughout, without ever being intrusive. He helped us in advance by sorting out restaurant bookings for us and we were welcomed with a Christmas tree, mince pies and a bottle of champagne! We liked Puerto de Mogan a lot. It has an easy going feel. By the harbour, which is only a short stroll away, there are lovely narrow streets decorated by bourgainvillea and the choice of restaurants serving first class meals is superb. If you want to dine in then the supermarket is close by. Highly recommended - we are already thinking about a return visit.

We are just back from a 10 night stay in this lovely apartment. Spotlessly clean, really well equipped with the most comfortable beds ever. Richard has gone to great lengths to provide a 'home' for his guests and his attention to detail is exceptional. From the time you first walk in you feel you are the first person to use it. There are good hair dryers an iron, plenty of good towels (nothing tatty or threadbare in this apartment!) and really you just need to unpack and start enjoying yourself. The view from the balcony is wonderful all through the day. The balcony is a good size with nice table and chairs. Shops and restaurants are all within easy walking distance. The roof pool is great too and a lovely place to relax. Thre is a well equipped kitchen if you want to cook and eat while enjoying the view. The bus station is nearby and buses go all areas of the island. If you venture down the side streets you will find lovely little bars and restaurants and the sea front has a great selection too although much busier. Local people are very nice and there is a nice laid back feeling. Also, forgot to mention there is air conditioning in the main room and very good quality ceiling fans in bedrooms. Richard has also fitted carbon monoxide/smoke alarms. He kindly left in some supplies for us which was much appreciated as we arrived quite late at night. Great location for the town of Puerto Mogan and very easy to find. We had a very friendly and informative reception from Richard who went through all the details of the apartment from the garage to the Wi-fi. It is one of the best equipped apartment / villas that we have stayed in. The apartment is very well maintained and very clean. You get the sun from around 08:30 until 16:00 on the balcony and if you pop up to the roof terrace until 18:00. The roof terrace is huge and has a medium sized pool. On most occasions we were there we had it to ourselves.We did quite a bit of driving around the mountains and coast roads along the SW of the island. Spectacular views and fantastic roads. You are 10 minutes away from the beach at Puerto Mogan which is great for relaxing. Plenty of restaurants in the area at reasonable prices. Two supermarkets that we used were the Spar and Hyper Dino. Both well stocked especially with fresh meat and fruit. On Friday just opposite the apartment is the local fair,gain worth a visit to see locally made goods. We wanted a lovely family holiday and had just that. Myself, my husband and our children ages 12 & 15 had one of our best holidays ever. On arrival at the apartment Richard was there to meet us and talked us through the apartment, the swimming pool and gave advise on the local area. The local Spa supermarket is just a few minutes walk and was perfect to purchase our food for the whole holiday. The beach, harbour and beachfront shops were all within a few minutes stroll. The local bus station again within a couple of minutes walk. We did not book a hire car for our holiday, which was unusual for us, but I can honestly say we did not miss having one. We stayed within Mogan each day, with the exception of a boat ride to Puerto Rico one day and a cataraman boat trip another. We spent our days by the pool or the beach and visited the market each Friday. The apartment was spotlessly clean and had every amenity we could have hoped for. The kids loved that there were USB points in each room and very good WiFi (even by the pool). The benefit of a 15 or 30 minute cycle on the washing machine meant we could freshen up our clothes, swimwear and towels and they would be dry out on the balcony by the next morning, so no need to overpack. The guide books, guest comment book and many leaflets within the apartment gave us a heads up on the best restaurants and places to visit. We took the private taxi transfer option from the airport with Suntransfers and they were fantastic. We would thoroughly recommend them. On our departure day, Richard allowed us to store our luggage in the apartment until the next guests arrived, this gave us an extra days holiday really as we took an early evening flight home. If you are looking for a relaxing self catering holiday in a pretty area with just enough of everything to keep a family happy without being too commercialised and crowded, I would thoroughly recommend booking this apartment. We visited this apartment in July and it was everything you could want for a holiday rental. Richard the owner was on hand when you needed him and was the perfect host on arrival showing us around and making sure we were happy with all the fixtures and the pool. The apartment gets the sun first thing in the morning to late afternoon so sitting on the balcony was a must for breakfast and great for a chill out drink after a day exploring the town or after lazing by the pool. The apartment is in easy access of the town and the marina plus a small walk to the Friday market, for daily shopping there are 2 supermarkets with in a 5 minute walk , so I would happily recommend this place for a holiday to those that wish to rest and to those who want a active one. First of all I would like to thank Richard who goes above and beyond for his guests. We arrived late when the stores were closed so Richard bought us water, milk, tea bags, coffee and pizzas, as well as a welcome basket of toiletries. Richards apartment is beautiful, he puts his heart and soul into it for his guests. There are loads of usb points so no need to take chargers. Our 17yr old son was well chuffed to be able to watch his Netflix. The beds were so comfortable and I wish I could have packed the pillows and brought them home. Everything was spotless and all the appliances were top grade. We made use of the cards, dominoes and the books and also left quite a few books that we had brought and read. It was a 2 minute walk to the supermarket and 5 minutes to the beach and the harbour so very well situated. All in all myself, my partner, my son and my mum had an amazing holiday and will return to this apartment in the future. Thanks Richard, Gill, Paul, Lewis and Mary.
