Great clean modern apartment with big balcony

Free parking, ease of entry and exit, cleanliness.

Very simplistic and lacked warm decoration, but was very practical!

Worst host ever. Arrogant and rude. You can expect getting charged a parking fee CHF 30 per day although you won't need a parking space and although not indicated in price details by Booking.com

The apartment was clean and comfortable, we came as a group of friends, 3 families with kids. We occupied 2 apartments. It was very accessible to public transport and they are very helpful with all our queries. Would highly recommend.

The location was amazing, the appartment is modern and clean. We would stay there again.

In the first room the hearing was not working. In the bathroom when you wash your hands the Basin fills up and doesnt let the water out unless you lift up the plug manually.

It’s a very good accomodation for a family or a couple! The apartment is very well-equiped! There is a balcony to, for chilling in the evening. The place is near at the city center/bahnhof/airport. The street car is just at the place!

Need a curtain next to the kitchen and there was no lock for the bathroom.

The apartment looks amazing, exactly like in the pictures advised. The tram station is 3 min walking. Quiet, safe and peaceful place regarding the location. The cleanness of the apartment exceeded expectations! I was literally walking with white socks inside the apartment and no stain found on my socks at the end of the day. Also, amazing ambiance and cooking facilities for a nice family dinner! Thank you, for accepting our staying!

The stairs are challenging with large luggage - but once you arrive at the apartment it is worth it!

The beds were very comfortable and if the weather is nice, the patio is fantastic. The apartment was clean and modern. It was great to have on-site parking, a hair dryer and washer/dryer available.

The lighting was not very bright and it was hard to figure out how to use the washer/dryer. The cancellation policy was not flexible at all.

This is a spacious apartment with a balcony. There were 2 bedrooms- although we only used one. Bright open space. It was close enough to Basel (about 1 KM) that we walked.

Noise from the street. The apartment is on a main street and very noisy. The balcony was nice, but due to the street noise not very enjoyable.

There are a few pluses about the flat, but there are many more minuses. Here are the best parts: The flat was spacious. It had basic kitchen equipment, and working appliances. The beds were OK. It had a working TV. The Wifi worked well for all of us. It has room for 4 people in the beds and 6 if using the sofabed in the living room. There was a possibility to reserve a parking space - for an additional cost. The flat is about 5 tram stops from Basel city centre, so that's not too bad, especially because all hotel guests / apartment guests to Basel or Baselland get a visitor card that give free access to all public transport within greater Basel area. ALso: there is a nice sushi nearby, as well as a gourmet restaurant in the Binningen Schloss. Groceries can also be bought nearby.

There are several things that make me rate this apartment quite low. We never saw or met the owner, so communication was difficult. Many of our questions were unanswered. We asked for an extra key, as we were three adults that sometimes would be doing different things. We were promised an extra key, but it never appeared. There was a large sign that read "the black key is for the garbage collection". We never found such a black key - so we asked for it - but the owner never gave one to us. Another major drawback is the noise. The apartment is next to a tram line, and a busy road right outside. This causes a lot of noise in the bedrooms. We had to sleep with earplugs. The kitchen was sparesly equipped: only 6 of each item and missing things like a cloth to dust and wipe surfaces, a water jug, an oven mitt, salad cutlery. The dishwasher did not work when we tried it, and it turned out that the water was turned off with the valve inside the garbage cabinet. We found out that ourselves and opened the valve, but it show the lack of attention to details we experienced. The flat was not very nicely decorated. There were really ugly plastic flowers on the tables that we put in a cupboard to avoid looking at them. The lights were not all working, and there should have been more lights in the sofa area and around the entrance door. The "art" in both bedrooms were identical: a "bland" print of a park on damp paper. We expected that some simple dry food items, like pepper and salt, had been left over from the previous guests. It wasn't. We left those we bought behind. We also bought laundry detergent - and left what we did not use to the next visitor. In the bathroom, sometimes the drain ( I think) would emit some bad smells. The TV is "streaming only", which means you don't get any regular TV-channels.

Some water glasses were dirty (with fingerprints on them) - but this I would say is the minor point. My LOW RATING in general does NOT refer to the rooms/apartment itself - the positive bullets are listed above, and they all do add up! It is a nice place to stay (with some minor things - but where you do not have them?)! My LOW RATING is due to the INSULTING and OFFENSIVE COMMUNICATION with the owner/agency. This led - unfortunately - to just a TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE. - We stayed just one night with my wife and her parents - We traveled with our dog (15 kg, mid-sized), and FORGOT to mention this explicitly in our booking. The description on BOOKING.COM says "pets friendly, additional charges MAY apply". What we did not know, is that the fee is 50 CHF (!!!) per night. The price was called out by the owner and charged immediately with no justification as there is NO Terms&Conditions or any other official documentation. The fact that we have missed "declaring" the dog in the first place, has been characterized by the owner as "BRAZENNESS"(!). - We asked for Early Check-in -> which is instead of the official 16:00 was at 15:00 - that was already a BIG ASK (!) - We have been threatened that someone will come by (it was after 9 PM in the night!!) and collect the money for the Security Deposit of 100 CHF (!). According to the description, the Security Deposit is to be booked by the venue automatically 14 days prior to the stay. Which is totally fine. For some reason - it was not the case for us. Since we had problems with our credit card at the day of arrival, the owner/agency has been threatening us that "some people will be sent to our apartment to collect money". I am sorry - but WHAT IS WRONG with you? We are guests, staying for ONE NIGHT after a LONG TRIP. And you are intimidating people? Do no wish someone else to experience the same ever again.

Everithing was excellent.

The apartment was as expected. However, there was no parking available when we first arrived so we had to park at the station and wander around until company vans vacated the allocated parking bays. During the night windows gad to be closed due to road noise. This was not good as the ambient temperature was very hot.

The underfloor heating which couldn’t be controlled meant that it was quite warm indoors. Had cutlery and crockery but no bowls (we had to eat cereal out of a mug).

Location was great. 2 minutes from the tram station, 5 min from Zoo and 10 minutes from the center. Onsite parking was great. The apartment was very spacious, clean, with big terrace and in a very calm area.

Door in the bathroom needs to be fixed as it doesn't close properly and the floor in the bathroom gets wet especially with kids taking a shower.
