Everything was great and so cozy and beautiful!!! Had a blast!!!

The booking and communication with the owner was great! The cabin was clean. I loved that it had an abundance of seating and beds but the mattresses were very uncomfortable. Overall we enjoyed our stay!

So the layout is a bit confusing from the pictures. The master shares the wall with the kitchen and the other room shares a wall with the den. Each room has it's own bathroom. I actually like this set up. It's not super sound proof since the walls are open at the top, but it's enough privacy for changing purposes. (It was just my family staying, but we have 5 kids.) However, the kitchen, dining room, den, and living room are all one big T-shaped room. Considering we wanted to put 2 people in the den, this was a bit of an issue, especially since there are zero blinds or curtains in any of this space (no windows in the bedrooms). so they woke up early due to the sun. Also, the bunk bed rail is not secured at all and the whole house was awoken in the middle of the night when it came crashing down on the floor. The two showers have 2 non-water-resistant curtains on them, so water got everywhere because they were soaked through and wouldn't stay inside the shower. There is a bit of mold(?) developing on the wood floor in front of both showers, so I know this isn't the first time occurrence. One of the couch recliners in the living room is also broken. We didn't expect good wifi or to stream anything, so what did work was just fine and not an issue. We didn't expect not to have zero cell service at all across any of our 6 devices. We could could barely get a text out. The place was overall clean and comfortable, just a handful of issues need to be fixed to make this perfect.

This was a great location and just right for our family of 5. It allowed us to break away from the electronics, computers and cell phones and take a break to enjoy each other's company. Great location as it was close to Desoto State Park, Desoto Fall (would like to have returned there for swiming), and the Little River Canyon (great swiming there is you can handle the long hike). The cabin had every thing we needed. Only draw back was steep access to the river / creek with no hand rails. My husband who has balance issues could not manage. The camp fire spot would have been nice to enjoy, but it would also be helpful to push back the vegetation a little more at the water (looks like a tree fell recently). Great location for the price, but plan on being disconnected as cell service was non-existence unless attached to the internet.

Super nice property manager! We love the proximity to the river, Desoto Falls, and Desoto State Park. We enjoyed swimming in the river, hiking and swimming by the waterfall, and ziplining at the nearby Desoto Zipline. We will be back again!

My parents, myself, and my 3 year old daughter were looking for a short stress free getaway and we found this property. There was no cell service and even the wifi was iffy so we were able to unplug and just have fun together. It is close to Fort Payne, Desoto State Park, and Little River Canyon. Papa was able to fish in the river behind the house in a canoe that was provided and my daughter had fun running around in the yard.

House was located so well for activities we had planned nearby and accommodated the adults and children we had. Fishing area behind house was perfect and a beautiful view.

I actually booked this location for my mom for Mothers Day. My mom was able to enjoy her kids and grandkids. This trip will be remembered forever. It had plenty of room to sleep, room to play games, float the creek, fish and make smores, We had an amazing time. Looking forward to coming back. Thanks for everything.

Friends and I treated ourselves to a little mini retreat and so many memories were made! Plenty of space inside, and gorgeous views of the river. Everything was within a close driving distance, and we appreciate how neat and tidy everything was. Came home to recommend the space to a friend who loves fishing, and would love to visit again!

This property was the perfect location for our visit to attend the June Jam in Ft. Payne. The house was very well furnished, clean and comfortable. The owner communicated well and offered helpful information regarding the area and our stay. We hope to visit again!

This was our 2nd time staying here. Another great trip. This place is perfect for if you like being on the water, nice and quiet. Took our kayaks and spent some quality time with the kids. Place is also very close to Desoto state park and the falls with a lot of family friendly activities! Perfect if you're an outdoor loving family like ours!

We had a wonderful family vacation at this cabin. The inside was spotless and has a spacious layout. The view of the river is gorgeous and the fire pit is the perfect setting to enjoy the company of your friends and family. My children especially loved roasting marshmallows for Smores. Communication with the owner was always timely and the check in process is effortless. Highly recommend.

Booked this cabin to get away this past year has been rough so I surprised my family with a weekend get away couldn't have asked for anything better very nice loved the view and the creek in the back yard fire pit for roasting hot dogs and marshmallows I loved it will go back again

We had a great visit and were really happy with the house. The location was convenient, and I was really impressed with the cleanliness. The kids enjoyed the river right behind the house. We definitely would stay here again.

Our family has stayed in several house in the area on our weekend getaways and this is by far my favorite. This was our 2nd time to stay there and plan on returning..

This is our second time renting this property because it is so amazing! We love the secluded feel and the close proximity to town. We will be back again!

We absolutely loved our stay here. The house was clean and well stocked. We specifically loved the access to the river and canoeing! We hiked around the area and saw many waterfalls! We could of spent all day just canoeing on the river though. Perfect soapy for our family.

Nice, clean and roomy. One bedroom was perfect for the teenagers and adult in the other bedroom. Grilled burgers on the grill. Canoed on the BEAUTIFUL Howard Lake portion of the little river.

Our stay was awesome! The only suggestions I can make is to have a better walkway down to the fire pit and river. Really need a hand rail also. Oh ,one more thing, the grill only works on one end. The other two gas strips did not work.

We had an amazing time. My mother came out with me the first few days and she loved it. She left and then my husband joined me the later part of the week. We all had a wonderful time. We used the canoe and had a good time in the water. We will definitely be booking again in the future.

Quiet place to stay for a disconnect.Boys loved the water and caught many fish.the walk from cabin to the water is very steep!

Very clean! Relaxing environment with peaceful neighbors. Host thought of everything including extra blankets and ice. Nice canoe with life jackets. Kitchen supplies were in abundance as well as a wonderful table with a view to enjoy meals.
