We had a relaxing and enjoyable long weekend here. The property was peaceful and the cottage was perfect.

Beautiful setting, very clean and lovely throughout. Definitely recommend to anyone looking for being close to “up north” hot spots while staying in a secluded, private and relaxing space.

So happy we found "Serenity in the Woods". The location is secluded and yet it is so close to downtown Beulah, restaurants (Cherry Hut), breweries and Crystal Lake. (We brought our boat and enjoyed a few days on beautiful Crystal Lake). One day we rented kayaks just a few miles away and had a nice paddle on the Platte. And we also brought our bikes and had a nice bike ride down the Betsie Valley Trailway from Beulah-Alberta-Frankfort. The home is fully equipped and had everything we needed for our stay; plenty of bath towels and extra blankets. The yard is nice and we took advantage of the corn hole game and enjoyed fires on the patio, and games (Racko and Farkle) at the kitchen table. The home was perfect for our family. It met all our expectations. We hope to be back next year!

Very peaceful surroundings at this well kept up property. My dog and I had a wonderful time and hope to be back next year for another visit.

This was our second stay at Serenity Cottage and just as great as the first! Clean and comfortable, nice linens and kitchen, and easy access to Sleeping Bear.

We had a great experience at this home. It was very convenient for us, and overall pretty clean. Wish under the couches were cleaned as my crawling infant was finding lots of dust and dog hair from previous guests. Host was very quick to respond and overall loved the cozy feel and great outdoor space.

Serenity had everything we needed. All amenities were available and considered. Great location minutes from beautiful beaches and parks including Platte River Pointe park, which we absolutely love! Very clean and beautiful on the inside and out. If we had one concern, could use some window coverings in the living room/kitchen. The natural light and giant windows are fantastic. But at night would have liked even some sheer curtain. Otherwise, perfect place to relax!! Thank you!

My family was able to sneak away up north for a couple nights to enjoy all the greatness of SBD. The serenity woods cottage was perfect in every way. Close to riverside canoe rental, the dune & overlook as well as all the scenery. The home was clean and stocked with all the amenities we needed to relax. We were able to bring our pup on the trip too! We will definitely stay again and recommend this place to friends & family.

We enjoyed our stay at Serenity Cottage. It was so quiet and peaceful in the woods. The location was perfect as it was close to great restaurants, beautiful beaches, fun breweries and lovely hikes. Our dog loved the dog run and watching for deer in the woods.

Serenity Woods Cabin had every amenity we could ask for and was very clean and comfortable. We really enjoyed our time hanging out on the peaceful, wooded property but also took advantage of its proximity to so many great places! We visited the dunes, Grocer’s Daughter, St. Ambrose, Storm Cloud taproom, Traverse City and Frankfort Beach for a sunset. Needless to say, it was a wonderful getaway and we will definitely return!

We wloved the cottage. Nice and secluded, yet close to everything. We brought our dog with us and we’re able to enjoy the beaches and breweries. Cottage was clean, comfy, and super cute. John made everything super easy and was a great host. Weather did not fully cooperate, but we did get a nice bonfire in one night as well.

This was a nice place away from everything. It was great for what we needed.

Cabin was very nice and clean. Had everything we needed on site (blankets, towels etc). Wooded lot is great for sitting outside and the location is very private. Great location near beaches and hiking trails, never had to drive far for something to do.

The cottage was really nice and we enjoyed our stay. There are comfortable blankets and couch to lounge on while looking out the big windows.

Serenity has pretty much everything you need and appears as advertised. If you're looking for a quiet spot in this area, it's one I'd recommend, especially if you need pet friendly. Everything was clean upon our arrival and we enjoyed our stay.

This was such a wonder place to stay. The location is perfect to all sights in and around the park. If you have a dog this is the place to stay! First, the floors are pet prof (tile), great place to walk around to and…there is a zip line for the dogs to run on and be safe. I was able to toss my dogs ball and for his to stay near by. We will be back for sure!

I can’t even begin to describe how incredible this property is. From driving up to the gorgeous all new cabin, to walking in and smelling fresh clean scent, and sleeping on the super soft comfy sheets and bed. It was an incredible relaxing fun 4 night stay. The owner has literally thought of everything to the many beautiful windows to the amazing dog run. It’s a perfect getaway in a perfect spot of northern Michigan. We feel like we hit the lotto staying here. Even my 13 year old thanked me for booking this cabin! Lol

Everything was clean, perfectly represented online. Hosts were terrific with immediate responses and flexibility. Great spot!

My family and dogs had a wonderful time staying here for a long weekend. The house was clean and decorated nicely. We didn’t get a chance to enjoy a fire outside but we’re hoping to come back someday and use the grill and fire pit!

The place was outstanding and the location was central to so many things. Short drive to all the points of interest on our check sheet.

Serenity Cottage is aptly named. We had a peaceful stay close to family fun. The house is lovely and well equipped.

No corners cut in the gorgeous little house! We walked in and actually thought this might be too nice! Everything a guest would need to make for a comfortable stay. Fully stocked kitchen which we used to cook dinner. Had adult beverages by the bonfire and slept so comfortably in air conditioning and cozy beds. Very clean and so convenient to have access to a washer and dryer after a day at the beach! Just a perfect place and quaintly close to town and excursions. John is super communicable and gave us great suggestions! We will definitely stay here again! Thanks John!

Tucked away in a wooded area near Platte lake, this home is new and modern and very well appointed. Great for just pleasure but the wifi was plenty good to work remotely if needed (or just watch movies). The host was easy to get hold of for any questions. Loved taking a paddle board ride to Lake Michigan one afternoon.
