The location of this property was perfect for us- directly opposite a working man’s club so meant we were able to easily get taxis in and out of city centre

The was the worst place I’ve ever stayed in my life. As soon as we arrived we realised the cleaning staff hadn’t been in for a few days - the beds were dirty, there were wet towels and crumbs and bottles all over the place as well as rotting food in the fridge and the bin - the whole place stank and the WiFi was non existent. Because it was great north run weekend there was no where else to stay so we agreed with the landlord (who admitted he forgot to tell the cleaning staff we were coming) that we would clean up ourselves for the cost of one nights stay (£150). He eventually got hold of his cleaning team AFTER we’d done the clean and bought new bed sheets, and stated because she collected the washing he wouldn’t be offering us any refund at all then completely ghosted me. Booking.com have been even worse in this situation to be honest, I’d avoid using their site at all it’s a total con - go to air BnB where you will actually get some measure of protection for your stay.

No internet and no signal Beer caps left by previous No door on kitchen Stinks of fags Right next to bins so opening a window to let fresh air in was not possible Local pub right across that’s attracts not the most pleasant people Would not stop here again even if they paid me

I had already stayed in this apartment another time and I thought he had a good improvement and I was super happy the owner treated me extremely well, I forgot my wallet with my belongings he let me come back to get it recommend

i was robbed by the owner of this property rent for 7 days was deducted from my card within seconds when i arrived at the apartment it was not like being in the pictures apartment far from the city center broken doors the beds with deep holes i had a big loss in fall in this scam i booked for 7 days paid £700 pounds I stayed for 2 days try a refund of my money did not get any amount back I'm disappointed with Booking.com that didn't solve it and didn't understand me I sent photos of what happened evidence that my complaints are in

Unable to sleep because of the noise of the fans in the bedrooms and under the cushions on the sofa their was crumbs no curtains at the kitchen window which look out on to the street also only one key to appointment unable to use key safe again as the code only lasted a couple of hours
