We have stayed here before for a dulcimer festival at the Ozark Folk Park. We always enjoy our stay.

We really enjoyed our stay. It was nice and secluded , yet so close to eveything! The beds were so comfy, and everything was so clean. Thank you so much for a wonderful stay!

Clean with everything needed. We loved gathering around the firepit at night, with wood easily available. Three minutes from the Ozark Folk Center made it the ideal location to get away but have convenience to the festival we attended. We all agreed we wanted to come back and stay here again!

We met our grown son there to celebrate Thanksgiving. This was the cleanest rental I’ve ever visited! They had their Christmas decorations up and I felt like we were celebrating Christmas! Television could be better, but the home was wonderful.

We enjoyed the beautifully appointed cabin, all decked out for Christmas. The peaceful, quiet atmosphere was so relaxing.

We enjoyed our stay for the most part. Clean and cute cabin! We enjoyed the downtown area a lot. There was only one wooden chair in poor condition at the fire pit and in the pics there was chairs around the fire pit so we didn’t even use the fire pit. We decided not to cook meals we brought since the kitchen pots/pans and utensils were in poor condition.

It was very nice. Deer were all around while we were there. Very peaceful and picturesque.

We loved staying in this cabin - secluded in the woods yet not far from town. Spent the evenings outside enjoying the fire pit and the cooler weather. Hope to come back soon.

Great stay at a great cabin.

We enjoyed our stay! The cabin was super clean and accommodating! We loved the secluded location, yet close to town. We saw a deer and armadillos off the front porch. It was a great stay, and I highly recommend staying here. Hope to come back!

Wonderful setting but needs bedroom TVs + mosquito control;wasn't able to enjoy outside area due to mosquitoes.

Great cabin. Just as described. Close proximity to town. Enjoyed the music in town and the cabin was extremely clean. We will be bad.

This cabin was amazing! So clean, had everything we needed. Close to town, but. Dry secluded. Just what we were looking for.

We had a great time on our weekend getaway to Mtn. View. The cabin was just perfect, and very conveniently located near the Ozark Folk Center. The weather was VERY hot, so we didn’t get to enjoy the front porch or the outdoor fire pit - - but we hope to come back when the weather is cooler to remedy that situation. We can highly recommend this cabin!

What a great cabin. Secluded but close to town. Listing was exactly what I found when I got there. I would definitely recommend to anyone.

Stayed for a week and the Cabin was amazing. Plenty of room. Very comfortable and solid A/C. Fire Pit was awesome but it was too warm to use it every night. Right down the road from the Folk Center and Mountain View. You'll miss out if you don't book this Cabin!

the cabin was really comfortable, furniture in living rooms and beds were all comfy, kitchen had all utensils needed for cooking, house was clean, the outside was private and semi secluded, just what you want for a mountain getaway, I would be a repeat visitor if given the chance!

It was what we needed . We got to see the deer grazing and a Small Turtle. There was a small bird that was making a nest in a little house on the pouch. I loved the feeling of being in the woods !! The cabin was just the right size! We loved the fireplace too .

Wonderful property. It seemed so large and spacious inside, and this fit our needs perfectly. So clean and seems so far away yet so close to everything. I highly recommend!

Fantastic cabin in a peaceful setting. The hosts are terrific and and the cabin is very comfortable and convenient!

The cabin was beautiful and so clean. Plenty of room for everyone. The TV would go in and out every few minute’s so it was a little frustrating. We couldn’t be happier with the cabin though.

The Folk's Cabin was just as represented, roomy, very clean, and the setting was delightful. There was everything needed in the kitchen and the directions left were clear and easy to follow. We will definitely recommend it and stay there again.

Loved everything about it

We loved the peaceful setting at the cabin and found the accommodations very relaxing, clean and well maintained. We did not figure out how to turn on the fireplace in the living room, but we didn’t need it.

This was an excellent cabin with a great atmosphere. It is secluded and quiet! It had everything we needed for our stay. We enjoyed evening campfires. It was close to the Ozark State Park. We highly recommend this cabin. We will rent again when we have more family come to town.

Easy to book and confirmation came quickly

We had a great stay! The cabin was perfect for our weekend getaway.

We stayed for 2 nights and left wishing we’d have rented it longer for our family vacation to Mtn. View! It exceeded our expectations! The description and pictures are very accurate! It was in the perfect location! Close proximity to town, yet in a secluded wooded area where it felt as if you were all by yourself! We saw 5 deer 1/2 a mile from the cabin, so you know there’s a good chance you could be sitting on the porch and see them right at the cabin! With it being in the northern part of town, you aren’t super far from Sylamore Creek, Blanchard Springs, or Gunner’s Pool! You go a couple miles down a dirt rd once you turn off the hwy to get to the cabin, but the dirt rd is in great condition! You get great cell reception at this cabin, which was a big thing for us because cell reception is hard to get in certain areas! It was the perfect cabin as well! On the outside you get a rustic log cabin look, but the inside you had all the modern comforts we’ve all become accustomed to and rely on! They have really out done themselves with this rental! It was basically turn key! They’ve thought of everything to make your trip as pleasant and as easy as it can be! All you need are your clothes, toiletries, and groceries! They have cookware, dishes, utensils, dishwasher pods, dawn, dish sponge, extra trash bags, laundry detergent, charcoal, lighter fluid, wood for the fire pit, and even the campfire sticks for roasting marshmallows! They really have thought of it all! They have cable, but our little kids like certain movies on Disney+ so we brought one of our Roku’s from home, hooked it up to the TV, and connected it to the WiFi and it worked out perfectly! I will be highly recommending this cabin to friends and family who are looking to travel to the area! I honestly can’t say enough good things about this cabin and can’t wait to book another trip there soon!

The cabin was clean and welcoming. It was nicely decorated and had all the amenities. We especially loved the outside sitting options, all along with the front porch and especially the fantastic combo firepit/swing grill area. We fixed breakfast, lunch, and dinner right there atop that grill. We are already planning on returning visits, hopefully!
