I asked if there were pots and pans thdy said no, there were. I asked about firewood they said no, there was firewood. Almost everything I asked about they (Vacasa) said no to but was there in the cabin.

We loved the layout of the cabin, great location to the ski resort, very comfortable and very well stocked. Loved having 2 downstair bedrooms for those who don't handle stairs so well. We would highly recommend this cabin... HOWEVER, we had NO HOT water on the 2nd day of our stay. I reached out to the service number who responded immediately in text that someone from the local staff would come to resolve the issue. NO ONE EVER CAME, in spite of my calling and sending texts 4 times that day and the next day. Each time they'd respond, "we will surely reach out to you for updates regarding the hot water issue." Hot water is a basic necessity in the winter time. We ended up leaving a day early. Very frustrating that no one ever followed up with us.

Our family of 5 for perfect! The location to the slopes was incredible. The home was stocked with everything you’d need-spices, pancake mix, coffee, etc. it’s even prettier in person. We got lots of snow while visiting and that made it even better! Thanks so much for opening up your home for us! We will be back!

Great clean cabin. The upstairs master was perfect for my wife and me. The downstairs bedroom worked great for my parents (in their 70s). The kitchen was well stocked. The cabin is conveniently located in Angelfire, just 2-3 minutes from the ski base.

Had a great time and truly enjoyed the house. It had everything we needed and some. We saw a bear running through the back yard and fed deer off the deck!

4.5 stars for the property. I agree with most of the other reviews. The property was cozy, clean and comfortable and in a great location. Communicating with the property mgr was horrible. They provided nothing but canned responses and empty promises but no follow through. They never got the hot water fixed.

We had such a wonderful gateway! My family enjoyed the deer outside our porch! The only issue we had is the water heater went out on Saturday afternoon!

Beautiful area with well house layout and. Setting. Only problem when had was we carried to many items with us. Need a better method of listing items. Really would have helped in the kitchen. I phoned the property manger about what was available and she was to get back to me. Not one word, so we arrived with many unnecessary items.

Although it was a little chilly to sit outside for too long it was very relaxing watching the birds and deer from the porch. The fire made the cool evenings very cozy comfortable. . The wood bin was well stocked. and the kitchen was large and very functional. we cooked most of our meals at the cabin. We were very pleased with the accommodations and are planning our next trip to Angel Fire and will try to stay at the Painted Pony Cabin when we visit .

This is the second time we have stayed in this house. We had four adults and two children. The house is big enough for us all to be comfortable. It is a beautiful area and is quiet. we were very pleased and would stay here again

I've stayed at many rentals in Angel fire but this had to be the most enjoyable. GREAT cozy home surrounded by wildlife but what was especially pleasing is the home had EVERYTHING we needed to cook, clean and sleep with. Such a beautiful home we’ve stayed at here in Angel Fire! Such a wonderful experience we had with our family! We loved waking up and seeing the deer especially my daughter and definitely enjoyed the rain we had over the weekend!

This cabin couldn’t have made us feel any more at home than it did. Very clean and open spaces. When we come back we will stay at the Painted Pony Cabin for sure.

This cabin was better in person than in the pictures. The location is great, the house is clean, and the deer are super-friendly! Would definitely book this one again!

Perfect Cabin
It was our first trip to Angel Fire and the Painted Pony Cabin did not disappoint. The size of the cabin was perfect. My OCD self loved all the organization and the way they had labels on everything with directions and where to find stuff. The location was so close to the moutain and I would highly recommend and we cannot wait to go back outselves.

Better than expected
A charming property located in a great location. The cabin was clean and had plenty of space. Near the ski slopes. Would love to visit during the spring or summer so we could enjoy the deck. It was too cold outside when we went. Our only regret was not staying longer.

New Year Ski Trip
My family of five had an excellent experience at Angel Fire in the Painted Pony Cabin. The up-stairs master bedroom was very nice and our three daughters we able to each have a room by one staying upstairs on the futon couch. We have been to Angel Fire many times and partially picked this home due to the location. The driveway is large enough for 2 cars and there is no surprise steep driveways that can occur at other homes. Excellent home and excellent location for skiing.
