the castle setting was beautiful. the views from the site are amazing. the rooms have an authentic feel of living in a modern castle.

there is no true lake view from the apartment. you have to walk outside to see the lake over the wall.

Nice place on a hill with a beautiful view of Montreux and the lake.

If you don’t have a car, do NOT book this place! It is impossible to manage without a car!

The place was very pretty, the room and bed are big than all other stays in Europe. The host Edgar was a nice person.

For travelers with heavy luggages or young kids but without a car, prepare to have to walk a long way up/ down the mountain on a bumpy road. If you have a Swiss pass and don’t have heavy luggages, take bus 204 to Tavel and walk up/ down to/ from there. Remember to bring enough food for your stay. We have to checked out early just for getting food.🤣

The veranda is a bonus plus the views are magnificent.

Thought it was like xx palace or xx garden, but it turns out to be a real castle! The experience is so unique, accompanied by the breathtaking view from the terrace. Facitlities are a bit old but adds the vintage flavor.

The ants! It is not really a surprise given the setup but I literally had to.scream for a second when picking up my bag near the window.

excellent super scenic very very beautifl castle, a beautiful place to stay. The only thing is you need a car , although there is train station and bus stop near by but its a ver hilly walk of good 10 minutes.

Room is very cosy and clean, have everything needed. Bed is very comfortable. Located in a peaceful castle with great view of snow Mountains and Lake. Staff is very friendly and helpful.

The best view of montreux is fom here, the stasion near the castle is little, but is working and there is an train go trough the Montreux Main Stasion, And The Staff is Very good
