What a lovely stay. Stylish and comfortable for 8 people. Everything that we needed for a family celebration and cooking a formal dinner. Terrific location for views from the living room, walks along the river or into town.

Holiday House Perfection
One of the most beautifully decorated holidays homes we’ve rented. The kitchen is better stocked than mine, & the pool table & media room provided a lot of entertainment when the weather wasn’t at its best. The location is superb & having a boat mooring available out the front was a big bonus. So much joy from the kids waving from the cockle train whilst having a drink on the front deck. Thank you, we loved it!

Location, location, location
Lets start a long list of Likes and zero Dislikes. The location of Admiral Riverside has to be one of the best in Goolwa with the bonus of water views. Goolwa is a gem location that is not well known but offers so much to see and and do, include doing nothing. Well decorated with style, abundant places to relax and be entertained, comfortable beds, well equipped kitchen where glasses match and there are plenty of plates/cups/cutlery to keep you going while the dishwasher makes life easy. And a delightful host, Rowena, who adapted during Covid times with multiple rebookings over 2 years - it was worth the wait.

Idyllic
What a beautiful property! Our families stayed here for our wedding. It was such a beautiful location and a spacious place that allowed them to enjoy some time and have ample room to get ready.

Amazing stay
We had a fantastic stay, the house is beautiful, immaculately clean with everything at your fingertips. Great location, so peaceful right on the water with breathtaking views. It was very difficult to leave, we just loved it.

Picture perfect spot, and faultless accommodation
The Admiral is fabulously presented luxurious accommodation in the most spectacular spot. It was so peaceful sitting either inside or outside enjoying the beautiful view ..... always something to watch ..... yacht races on Friday night, the Steamranger passing by, river boats motoring along. And to be within walking distance of a cellar door (with live music), brewery, distillery, art galleries and the main street of Goolwa was so convenient.
We could not fault The Admiral and highly recommend, thank you Rowena.

Enjoyed our stay
Accommodation was lovely. Excellent position, lovely outlook. My only criticism (which the owner may not have been aware) was the floors had not been thoroughly cleaned. We would happily stay there again.

Amazing location

This place had everything, 2 families with 14 yr olds & 17 yrs olds worked a treat. The games room and home theatre gave everyone the space they needed. Waking up to the views, we thought we had died and gone to heaven! The hosts have thought of everything, a modern and well thought out property.

Family time
The Admiral was the perfect home for our family of 6 ranging in ages from 30 through to 60’s to kick back and relax in understated luxury. Everything is exactly as pictured with a well stocked kitchen and plenty to keep all occupied when not out and about checking out the local beaches and wineries. Thanks Rowena for thinking of everything.

The view of the Lower Murray from the comfort of the lounge room was fantastic as well. Very modern, stylish, clean and beautiful house. The bonus of a gaming room/den and complimentary board games makes it great for a decent sized group! Would highly recommend.

One of the best holiday rentals available in South Australia. An historic property that's up to the minute in style and comfort. Location in Goolwa is unbeatable, view is excellent, owners are a dream, beautiful linen, the house has everything you could want and it's right where you'd expect it to be. Lovely Cottage, amazing views. Very clean and accessible. Inside it’s quiet and it’s lovely to watch the Sailing Boats and see the train pass by in the morning.

Enjoy full stay at the admiral Riverside
We fell in love with the admiral house as soon as we arrived. The view is stunning. The house is very unique, nice and clean. And provided furniture was very modern and comfortable. Kitchen is very large, spacious and full of convinient equipment. Entertainment areas were amazing and well maintained. Perfect suit bedroom, nice view, nice bathroom and very comfortable stay overal. Enyoyed walking around the local area and waking up with that amazing view Very furfilling stay. 8 of us very enjoy our city break.

The Admiral Riverside is beautiful accommodation with fantastic Murray River views.
A group of 8 of us have enjoyed a fantastic holiday staying at The Admital Riverside. The fully renovated 2 bedroom cottage and 2 en-suite studios comprise quality appliances, finishes & fittings. The outside decks and games rooms further enhance the accommodation. The views over the Murray River are spectacular. Overall this is one of the best properties we have ever stayed in. Communication with the owner/manager Rowena was very easy and welcoming.
