There is small family of deer that like to visit, they are not shy about checking out the humans. Located within easy drive to reach store and restaurants. The washer and dryer was appreciated since my granddaughter liked to play on beach, she liked digging in the rocks. Would stay here again.

Very clean and well equipped kitchen, however the outdoor grill does not heat over 300 degrees which caused some problems preparing dinner. Additionally we felt the check out time of 10am was a bit much.

Loved everything about the property except it was very hot inside by late morning until late evening. The thermostat appears to have a cool setting but the AC wouldn’t turn on. Even a standalone unit in the main living space would make the stay a lot more comfortable.

Charming, mid century- all in all well renovated and decorated. Several things could be added: In the master bathroom, a towel rack and some hooks. In the kitchen, more coffee mugs and small plates. Family that was staying at another house came over for breakfast and there wasn't enough to serve them. And the (new) dishwasher holds a large amount. Would need to wash so often. We brought a lot of things not knowing what is supplied. A more detailed list would be good. Other than those minor but easy to fix things it was very nice, peaceful and scenic.

It's a mid-century home that has been nicely remodeled w/amazing NE views, so it's not a super sunny lot. The location is a bit secluded - $30 taxi to Roche which is a 5 mile drive. The grounds were run down, but lawn was mowed. Overall I wouldn't stay here again. It was priced too high for the location, the overall property (view is amazing!), small beach & close proximaty to the neighbor who has a barky dog. The main photo was taken when it was a low tide so that's a bit deceiving. There is not much of a beach. Loved the house, but want to relocate it.

The master bedroom shower has no place for soap or shampoo. The other bathroom tub drain backs up due to slow drainage. There are no dressers in the two bedrooms other than the master bedroom. So no place to place belongings.

The location was great and the views were spectacular. Kitchen was well stocked. We were very disappointed to find no shades or blinds in the master bedroom...only a sheer curtain that does not block any sun. Definitely would NOT recommend to families who need some sleep. Had I been warned I would have brought my own shades or chosen a different property. The cleaners were still cleaning the property at 3:59 pm for a 4 pm check which was strange to see a vehicle there when we arrived. The property advertises "Beach access!" but does not mention that the stairs down to the beach have been significantly damaged by a storm and are very unsafe.

Very nice place to spend a few days on lovely island. Wonderful water views! Very well appointed and stylish house. Would come back.

The house was everything it promised. We especially enjoyed watching the sun rise, looking for whales, and star gazing from the deck.

We stayed here with my daughter’s family and 3 boys. They all loved the private beach by day and jigsaw puzzle at night. The house is a great location for proximity to Roche harbor and the sculpture park. The beds are comfortable and kitchen well equipped. But the best part.? San Juan properties delivered the purse I had had left behind at the house, to me at the ferry dock! Would not accept any money for their inconvenience . Appreciated that so much.

One is more customer focused and honestly could have the same outcome (I.e. we can’t accommodate) but just sounds so much more welcoming and supportive of guests.

Minor issues: The internet id in the emailed instructions was incorrect. However, the correct id was subsequently found next to the sofa . Internet worked fine. On day 2 the auto door lock feature stopped working. The property management helped us troubleshoot the problem and fix it. We look forward to returning!!
