The property glistened, location was centered and host was congenial. Would highly recommend.

I originally booked this house due to it's location and was a little worried the house looked small (which given it's age was not unlikely). However I was pleasantly surprised at how much space we had. The kitchen is small but very workable and super well stocked. We cooked several meals in and had everything we needed and then some. The dining room was big for game nights, the parlour was a good size for chatting and hanging out. The bedrooms in the main house are very large. The carriage house rooms are smaller but it was nice to have a separate space for people to get away to. Even though the house is so close to the center of town it was still quiet and tranquil. Small improvements could be made like better pillows but the house was very neat and uncluttered and taken care of. I would definitely recommend the house and would go back.

The Oliver Davis house is just wonderful and the location cannot be beat. The carriage house is just so cute. The owner was so accommodating when the VRBO site was giving me an error message during the booking process and he responded quickly to my messages. We will definitely be back again!

Had a wonderful family getaway! The house oozes charm and is extremely well equipped. The location could not have been better, allowing walking to everything - restaurants, bars, shops. Simple checkin and checkout. Look forward to renting here again. Perfect in every way, can't wait to come back soon!

This home is beautiful, it is even better in person. It is situated in the idyllic Kennebunkport village. Park the car and never need to drive the whole stay. The linens are gorgeously comfy and the decor is so tasteful and warm. Cannot wait to stay again!!

The Oliver Davis House on Elm Street is in the perfect location to take advantage of walking to Kennebunkports shops, restaurants, Barbara Bush Gardens and sightseeing events. We are city people, and love to hoof it when we can. The house, almost 200 years old, was a classic delight. Appeared to be professionally decorated. Guest Cottage was also well appointed. Both house and cottage were furnished in a fashion that you want for nothing. Backyard was a dream: beautiful gardens surrounding soft, green grass. A lovely shady gathering place, and nice to sit and read. Owner was a great communicator. Immediate response to questions. Couldnt ask for better. In all, a perfect, pleasant place!
