The cottage was easy access of rt6. We entered into a cozy warm 1 room cottage that felt like we were staying at a family apt. Janice & Robert were so kind, the felt like people we had already known. Wirh Janice's directions we walked from the cottage to Cape Cod Bay and then walked to the Atlantic side...perfect location to see both sides of the cape! We walked to the Truro Vineyard for fabulous pizza & wine tasting and walked backe to the cottage! A great adventure and winter walk. The bed & futon were very comfy and the kitchen had everything we needed. I hope to go back again. A great Winter Es-Cape!

Thank you so much to our lovely hosts. We loved meeting Willoughby and your chickens. The cottage is cozy, warm, and full of a great book collection. We enjoyed walking to the beach nearby and exploring your sweet neighborhood.

We had a lovely weekend in the cabin and had a great time exploring Cape Cod. The location is perfect for going up and down the cape. Our hosts were gracious and gave us plenty of space. The space itself is very comfortable and clean with a very well stocked kitchen.

This cottage was perfect for our early spring getaway. It was cozy and charming and the book shelves were stocked with so many interesting titles. The bed is oh so comfortable and the kitchen was stocked with everything we needed.
The hosts were lovely with great reccomendations and we hope to return some day.

The cottage is so comfortable. It has everything you could want for a relaxing time away. It's quiet and tucked away and you can sit on the back porch to enjoy a little more space. Our hosts were very welcoming and available.

We loved our stay here. The cottage is comfortable and quiet, the gardens are lovely and full of birds, and the location is convenient. Janice and Rob are wonderful hosts. We would gladly return!

What a hidden gem! This little cottage is ideally situated for exploring the end of the Cape and offers a really scenic setting in nature (we visited at the end of May so everything was very lush and green). The inside of the cottage is super cozy and unique, especially if you enjoy farmhouse-style architecture. We especially enjoyed taking advantage of the screened porch and outdoor shower :) Lastly, the owners are very gracious and kind and even gave us fresh eggs from their chicken coop - thank you for your hospitality!!

What a hidden gem! This little cottage is ideally situated for exploring the end of the Cape and offers a really scenic setting in nature (we visited at the end of May so everything was very lush and green). When we arrived after sunset, the lights and heating were turned on to welcome us. It was a cozy place with plenty room for two or four people. Everything was cleaned and they have all kitchen ware, seasoning, and cooking ware ready for you! Over all a great stay!!

Had a wonderful stay with Janice and Rob.
They were very hospitable. The cottage is a renovated 150+ yr old barn. The interior made me feel very comfortable. Janice’s detail to your comfort was impeccable.
I would gladly return to this cottage.

It's a beautiful, well stocked cottage (and surprisingly warm in winter!). Incredibly easy check in and out. Well worth your time!

We thoroughly enjoyed staying at Janice and Rob’s place. The cottage had everything we needed, was in a great location, the hosts were wonderful and the hens were wonderful to see.

Excellent stay in North Truro
The cottage couldn't have been better. It was clean, cozy, and had everything we needed for cooking meals and relaxing. The location is quiet and close to beaches, National Parks, P-Town, and interesting shops. The hosts are available if needed. Otherwise we were left to ourselves to relax. I can't recommend it enough.

Writer's Cottage
This was a beautiful visit complete with hens, gladiolas, roses and pine trees. The cottage is private and lovely close to 2 beaches within walking distance- Cold Storage and Coast Guard. Janice and Rob are artists. They are quiet and wonderfully sweet people. Do go if you want serenity, a work space to write and quiet. Everything you need is there- very clean and well kept. The screened in porch is amazing.

We had wonderful time. The house was very cozy and comfortable, and right were we wanted to be. Owners were very friendly and welcoming. Will definitely look into staying here again next time we're on the Cape.

We had a wonderful stay at this hidden garden property. The house with it's french doors opening to the screened porch was perfect and very well stocked with everything you could need. It was the best of both worlds, a secluded garden property 5 minutes from the ocean. The outdoor shower was not only wonderful for after the beach but exhilarating first thing in the morning. Very importantly, we had a great night's sleep every night! Looking forward to our next visit!

Pure poetry
This couldn’t have been a more perfect place for us. It is cozy, nestled in with the gardens & the chickens. It is clean, the kind of clean without a chemical or perfumed scent, just clean. It is equipped with all the essentials & then some: a variety of reading that could have fed us for weeks, hand drawn maps to get to lesser known hikes, thoughtful recommendations for restaurants & activities & the most comfortable bed we’ve ever slept in. There is much attention to the right details that make this a deeply comfortable place to stay. And Rob & Janice are lovely hosts, quietly, warmly present & available without any intrusion. We will be back again soon!

A week in north truro
We really enjoyed our stay. Janice and Rob were very responsive and friendly. The day before we left, the chickens laid three beautiful eggs and they gave them to us for breakfast.
