Our stay at Spirit Level was fantastic it was a beautiful place and everything that we needed it was in a perfect place close to everything we just love Mallacoota and we will definitely be staying there again

A fantastic property, just perfect for our stay. The lovely bed linen, towels and appliances made for an easy home away from home stay. It was immaculately clean, and had a wonderful homely atmosphere. Walking distance to the lake and town, it was the perfect position. Spirit level is lovely, lots of room, great areas for entertaining or chilling out. The house has lots of thoughtful touches that make your stay that wee bit more enjoyable. The location is fantastic, right in town, and walking distance to beach and bush walks. Can highly recommend this accommodation

This is a lovely cosy home, well equipped and sparkling clean. It’s just a short stroll from all the delights of Mallacoota. Love the retro vibe :)

Very Clean property felt like home and was private. Neighbors very quite. There was room to put a 5m boat in the back yard. Kitchen Was well Equipped. We had a really lovely stay

We loved our stay at Spirit Level. It was so relaxing sitting on the back porch looking out on the spacious green yard and lake views. The accomodation provided every utensil needed to be able to cook and not have to eat takeaway for a week, was breezy and has a beach house feel. The beds were also comfortable with quality bedding and was really like a home away from home. Thanks for all the care you take Sonia - it really made our stay enjoyable

The overall impression on this property was excellent. Everything was thought of. The walking distance to Main Street was good. That this property was pet friendly is an extra bonus. Didn’t really have to bring dog bowls as there were 2 on-site. And little things like poop bags were there also. This property is on top of our list when we come back to Mallacoota. Hopefully the weather will be better next time.

Spirit Level was a lovely little home away from home, excellent location even though everything in Mallacoota was shut for the winter. Our host was so lovely to deal with with offers of an early check in and late check out.

We were looking for a winter retreat where we could easily go fishing or relax in front of a fire. Spirt Lodge didn’t disappoint. We found it to be more like a home rather than just another holiday rental house. It is obvious Sonia and Dirk have thought about the extras - quality linen, fluffy towels and soft blankets as well as comfortable beds and a lounge the entire family can fit on with many a board game played. We were worried the house would not be warm during a winter stay but the wall heaters were more than adequate and the fire made things extra cosy. It is perfectly located for a short walk into town where we visited the pub and cafe. The two small supermarkets meant we didn’t need to bring much with us and the locals were very welcoming. This home away from home is at the top of our list for our perfect getaway. Looking forward to our next visit.

House was very clean and well presented. The outside kitchen and second fridge in the garage was perfect for our fishing holiday. Plenty of room, great view out the back and lots of little extras supplied that we weren’t expecting. They weren’t expensive but nice little touches, eg, block of chocolate, coffee, tea etc.

Such a treat - had such a great time in Mallacoota and retreating to this house topped it off. I have never stayed in such a clean holiday house.

We stayed as 2 couples at Spirit Level and were delighted byt he position of the property- walking distance to everything - town, beach, walking trails etc. We were aware that the property contained 2 x bathroom although one of these is across the other side of the house, through the lounge, through the kitchen, through the laundry- we thought it was an en-suite when booking. This configuration made it a little tricky if ducking to the toilet at night or going to and from the shower etc. Not life ending but not what we expected. We had fairly mild weather - mid to high 20's on 3 days - Anything higher than that and for longer would have been a challenge without air-conditioning. The decor and set up of the house is perfect - Comfy Couch, comfy beds and an excellent porch/entertaining area. All you will need is provided including linen, towels, beach towels and a fully equipped kitchen. Sonia was really easy to communicate with, the booking process easy and rates competitive. I would definitely recommend staying at Spirit Level - Just not in a heat wave !! :)

We really enjoyed our stay at Spirit Level and made the most of the backyard patio where we ate all of our meals. The house was clean and comfortable and only a short walk from the main street. Such a wonderfully relaxing stay. Thank you

The property was very clean and the beds were really comfortable. Unfortunately during our stay is was very warm and there only 2 fans. The back patio area is also very slippery.
